For anyone interested, I have a photoshop file setup to make samples. Just link me to the paper you'd like to see and I'll post an image of what it'll look like on the Nomad!

Well, I've had a look and I really still have no idea what I want

It's had to tell how it's going to look against the Nomads materials.

I was really hoping for a double helix type patter like the one below but I didn't see one:

I think Chiyogami 817 - 813 are my favourite style.. Like a mix of a star map and a maze! That'll be fun to stare at.

I also really like the ones with the waves. (Chiyogami 019)

And I really like this one too; but not sure if it'd be right for the vape. (Chiyogami 288)

@Dan Morrison are the sleeves very difficult to make properly for the friction fit? I'm just wondering if it'd be feasible to order our own paper and make a sleeve? Maybe after seeing it in person I won't like the pattern I picked as much; or maybe if the paper tore someday I'd wanna make a new one.

Could someone clarify: Will there be 1 paper for everyone or can we pick the ones we want for our own nomad.

I want a pitbull on mine. A flying one would be ok.:\

Love everyone's ideas but...IMO

While all of these customizations are beautiful, we've followed Dan this far because of his aesthetic.
Throwing our ideas into the most visible parts of the unit seems crazy to me.

It speaks volumes about what @Dan Morrison has designed that all of these designs look so good and are so flexible.

And that lichen button is still the bomb.

I believe the body sheath is meant to be customised, at least that's how I read the below:

@Fat Freddy, I've done all my business through PayPal for years. Seems like the easiest way to do it.

You can definitely start thinking about a print! I can use almost anything on this site, https://shop.thepaperplace.ca/ (Chiyogami, Katazome-Shi, and Lacquered Yuzen)

Regarding @VaporSipper's idea of matching the heaters wooden sheath, I like that idea personally.

People have been throwing out ideas in this thread for ages. Some Dan runs with and some he doesn't. I think it's great that people are offering up ideas whether or not they end up getting used.

You're absolutely right that Dan's aesthetic is superb, but I think you may have missed the posts where he said we would get to pick our own wood combinations and paper patterns.

I hear ya' @GreenHopper, it just seems so humble/selfless for an artist to work so hard for their vision and let the end user have the largest visual impact.

It's quite incredible really.

I completely agree, it's incredibly open and inspirational of Dan to allow us to customise his creation to our liking.

I think that is the genius of his work, he's been so inclusive of this community right from the start. I think that is part of his artistic endeavour, to create something the user can make their own. I believe the modular design of different heater modules and the wide selection of sheath options is all part of Dan's plan to offer the end user full customisation.

Dan if I'm wrong about your intentions I apologize and humbly ask for your forgiveness.

Yes options are great... until you are facing the checkout page and realize that:
1) choices are difficult and place a burden on you
2) you want all options at once in the end (like all 3 heaters and several sleeves) and your wallet is upset by the order total displayed on screen.... :o

Curse you damn VAS! And curse you Dan too while we are at it!!! :p
