The kiln would explode the magnet. I was planning to epoxy them to the bottom in a little groove... but now I have to do the same, but I'm top.

Which means I have to figure out the proper size while accounting for shrinkage and adds another step to the glaze/finishing process.

These diametric really suck at being really magnetic on the flat surface… Instead, most of their magnetization power is on their sides… So while I can get the vapecap to stand up right on a few of them, it's an extremely weak pull…

If depth isn't a concern you can use a rod magnet that is 3/8" or 10mm diameter rather than a disk and the Vapcap will stick in the middle. I have a 3/8" x 3/8" magnet that I use and it is plenty strong enough to remove the cap and then some.=> https://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=D66-N52

Or you can do what I do with my boxes and exploit the nature of the cap sticking to the edges of a disk magnet. Just join four disk magnets together to make an area of strong magnetic force in the centre.

The angle and concentration of magnetic field lines on a Rod magnet versus a Disk are what let cap stick in the middle of the magnet or the edge. The Rod magnet has its field lines converging much closer to the central axis when compared to the disc magnet that has more force concentrated on the edges. The toroid shaped area of magnetic force needs to be inside the diameter of bimetallic discs in the cap in order for it to want to stay in the middle. I hope that these field line diagrams help make more sense of what's going on.

Hey guys, So a few weeks ago I ordered the 'M' loved it that much a few days later ordered the TiOmni, these were ordered from Vapefiend and Vaposhop (I'm in the UK)
So last week I wanted to order a Vong body, only place I could find this is on the Dynavap website, feeling pretty confident that I wouldn't get stung by customs charge, I ordered (I read through this forum, people from the UK/Europe no getting charged custom fees as they mark it down)
Anyway this morning I woke up to custom charges of £15.14
Just a little warning to anyone from Europe, you do get charged customs if you order from these guys direct.

You can never know beforehand, I had three packages shipped directly from Dynavap to the EU and I never had any custom fee to pay.

@stark1 what are you asing as a mouthpiece for the orbiter? Also, I'd suggest you to try it with less water.

Just ordered my second cap. Started at the TOP (Omni) and now working my way down the line backwards haha. Ti woody s cocobolo on the way! Saw I had some money still chilling in my PayPal account, pulled the trigger.
Damn these late night/early mornings random impulsive buys haha.

I think it took 10 minutes max from the time I sent my email request (Randy at PUI) to the time I clicked pay now on my invoice. Can't get any better service than that!

My dumb ass keeps combusting by forgetting to wait for the cool down click haha. Happens whenever I get too faded. I think about someing else and my I start to heat the cap again absent minded. Maybe is a sign that I should be taking a break.

At least it got delivered to you! My order (to the Canary Islands) was held up by customs for 3 weeks. They then sent me a registered letter to say it was liable for customs duty, local tax and a handling fee - fair nuff (I s'pose) but then they told me that a package retained for inspection cannot be delivered by post (what????) and that I needed to contract a specialist company to "liberate" it. I phoned a few and their basic fee was 50€ although they weren't sure if "aromatherapy devices" need a special license. Long story short, my $125 order would have cost about the same amount again +hours of red tape bullshit so I refused the package :ugh: and hope it eventually finds its way back to Wisconsin.
To be clear, I have no problem paying legitimate import duties / taxes etc., but DynaVap paid an international mail carrier (USPS) who have agreements with other mail carriers (Correos de España) to deliver the f***ing goods. Anything else is protectionism and/or unfair trading practice. To be fair, I had a long exchange of correspondence with both Arielle and George who told me the package was labelled "modular tubular pieces" or words to that effect. I suspect Customs didn't know what they were dealing with. The presence of two half-filled butane lighters might also have given them cause for pause, I don't know:shrug:. Anyway, the good people at DynaVap always go the extra mile and suffice it to say that all's well that ends well :brow:

It's funny how perspectives change..

When I first started vaping, filling an eq cyclone, or flowermate, I was blown away by how efficient vaping was compared to the joints I was used to smoking.....

Kicking myself for not doing it 15 years ago...

Anyway...
I then upgraded my vapes and realised the cyclone and flowermate were actually hungry herb eaters....

Then I got a gen2 woody, which iv had for over a year now, and realised that this was true efficiency.....

But a month ago I got a gen4 and set the oven to the smallest setting...
Now the gen2 feels like the flowermate again....

When is this gonna end.........

I'm sure one day George and the good people at @VapCap are gonna make it work without herb at all...........

It's pure fucking magic. My tolerance has dropped so much, I'm getting h a f of one bowl on the smallest setting. Getting praises from the wife on how much I've cut back usage, and it really doesn't feel like I've lost anything at all. Higher than ever. This is from a 20 year plus smoker. Absofuckinglutly amazed multiple times a day by these devices. And this is after over year of use.

VCs are VERY efficient. Tough to beat when away from home/power. They're not the only vapes that are, though. ;)

This is true I suppose, but in my limited vape experience, iv found that a 0.02g microdose doesnt quite satisfy.... not in any of my past vapes....

Where as the the vapcap kicks your arse with it.......

Never had a log though.....

If efficiency is part of your paradigm.......VC on the go (actually any damn time) and a log for couch surfing. Medicated from Noon to bedtime on 2g a week.

What the Senior Chief says!
The Omni is my constant companion away from the house, E-nano log at home.
Both are efficient, fast acting, both are as manual as a vape can be and take a bit of technique for max effect. Each having their own ritual which i dig.
But I do like my set it and forget it non conservative vapes like the Plenty and the CF now and again too.

Maybe it's just me, but when I move the screen to get a smaller bowl, I also get a smaller buzz. It MAY be enough buzz, that's not what I am saying, just that it is a smaller buzz roughly commensurate with the smaller dose.

Do you have a magnet for your vapcap ? Not only is it nice to have one just to sit the vapcap on , but it also cools it quicker . If you get in the habit of sitting it down on the magnet between hits , I think it may help with your combustion issue..

Yep! Log at home, VC on the go = unhappy dealers! Probably less than 25% of what smoking would be for most of us. Think even a little less than that for me. Grams go for days instead of a short sesh. :D
Yep, vaping by itself seems to have done this for me. Maybe more like 50% for me, but definitely much less than I combusted.
Vaping DOES require better cannabis, tho. Vaping the mexican I used to get is an exercise in frustration. Fortunately the "good stuff" is better available than it was. Or at least (thank goodness) I found a good source. (knock knock)

Access to a dispensary with more choice would be a definite improvement, however...

Guys I have confirmation! I won't be spending the (worth it) $50 just to get a momfrontation from the statement saying something about vapes. I'm sorta drooling right now. Judging by the bowl size, I already have three loads ground up just.... waiting.... for it.... I'm gonna be staring at the porch every day soon.

I hear you there on the dispensary thing, @cybrguy !

Totally agree, more so with vaping than smoking - garbage in = garbage out. So much better with the better stuff, and even at sometimes double the price - with vaping I'm spending half as much.

Occasionally these days I'll get something amazing, or that doesn't taste like I think it should (based on leafly reviews or wherever), and feel the need to combust a hit or two. Yes, I know, and yes it does taste shittier. But, doesn't offend my senses like it does some here. Anyway... what I was getting at is that I use the same for one good bong rip as I normally will for the whole night while vaping! Sometimes even more. Flavor, effect and amount used usually has me running to clean out my cheapo bubbler that gets a hit smoked through it every month or so, and so grateful for vaping! Well, after I'm done coughing, that is.

Only downside here with my VCs, is when I grind up for a big event (like concert with tailgating recently). I end up with more on hand than I'd ever need. First world problems, eh? Then I feel the need to vape it all up before too much time goes by. Never a problem other than losing track of what I'm doing or getting confused watching stupid TV.:D
