Kava can have different effects depending on the variety, but the common effects are most similar to cannabis, alcohol, and mushrooms. It's great for counteracting social anxiety, stress, and muscle tension.

There's no real safety concern with quality kava today- the toxic chemical is only present in the parts of the plant that grow above ground, so it is simple to avoid contamination during production. All the major producers are now well aware of the issue, and I haven't heard of anyone having problems lately.

Kava doesn't really work the first time you try it. Use it regularly to get the best effects, and remember the dose is important too. I've tried powder drink mixes, co2 extracts, and whole fresh frozen root. Although some experiences have been better than others, I've had luck with every type of preparation I've tried.

Kava has generally changed it's purity standards since I got to know it. Still would get to know the dangers even though some of these sources on the subject seem dated.
Other sellers have different standards, etc So be aware of that. I usually get it ground or 'micronized' by the pound. (Kava pills make me ill.) Have some mixed with water and have it shaken in a large water bottle or container. Then place that in the fridge and allow the particles to settle to the bottom over time. Carefully pour the kava water into something like say a coconut shell. Like some of the natives. Then chill. :chill:

Stomach acids seem to be a factor with Kava Kava but IDK. Some native preparations are gross. But definitely what they were going for with their method.

When Magic-Flight sent out alpha Muad Dib units, they included kava as the concentrate to test with. I tried it and for me, it produced some mild effects. Although I wasn't fond of the flavour in the beginning, I did acquire a taste for it. As for effects, they weren't strong but they were calming, which is what we were told to expect. Overall it was a pleasant experience, but you do have to learn to like that taste.

Been posting in the ethnobotanical thread for some time. If you want to sift through the last few pages to get up to speed.
Vaping any mint I can try. German Chamomile, Lemongrass and Lemon balm leaves and the drinking of Kava are mentioned often. Chamomile can dirty some vapes, So be careful.
I'm also fussy as far as freshly dried and cured leaves.
Old threat I know but thought this interesting.
Anyone had luck getting clouds like this off legal herbs?

My EVO can draw visible vapor with ANYTHING. (Mint clouds!! :)) The water content and drying of teas is different than those cured to be vaped. So YMMV in every sense.
I have a store that sells freshly harvested herbs and I get to vape this Apple mint blend that is AMAZING in taste. Have encouraged other posters to find what grows locally that might be vape friendly. Hope this helps.:peace:
Chamomile can help with hot flashes and cramping.

That i didn't know :sherlock:. So i'm going to make lots of tea with the Damiana that i bought .
I tried chamomille, peppermint, calea, and every tea i could find in my kitchen but nothing really works. I wouldn't mind gettin' some visible vapor thought flavor is most important. peppermint was nice but a little too much refreshing sometimes.
Weed works fantastic i must say, plenty of flavour and vapor.
Could you please Cuckfumbustion, give a link to that place where you get those freshly harvested herbs ?
what does it mean YMMV in every sense ?
Does anyone know of a place in Eu to get anything in bulk ?

I just got an Apollo from Venus vaporizers and i want to be able to vape legal herbs !!

Thanks in advance :peace:

I goto my local co-op for most of the teas mentioned. No commercial teas normally. Just the bulk bin from the local co-op. And getting to know what they buy.

http://www.brambleithaca.com/ is the local shop. But there is probably an equivalent in your area. Try to think about the origin more. You want to extract the oil content and essence from whatever you are vaping. Tired, over dried tea won't quite get you there. You want the vitality from the plant.

I start adding my 2 cents about here. -> http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/the-ethnobotanical-thread.148/page-16#post-855708

What is in season is also pertinent to freshness.:2c: Think about what is the best time to buy certain foods. Same principle.

There are a few EU sites mentioned in the thread also if you read a few pages. See you there. :peace:

I only vape legals, because weed doesn't affect me without a ton of consumption. Super high tolerance apparently or something idk. I have vaped mint before, didn't offer any recognizable highs but it was TAAASTY and you can use the dried parts of most herbs to vape with. I've vaped mint, catnip (for my insomnia, could affect you different), and I've vaped yarrow flowers a couple times. Not tasty but it'll kick you in the pants and get you moving, but don't use that if you're allergic to daisies or ragweed. And my favorite of them all.... Lavender, like from France. Idk why, but what weed doesn't do for me, lavender does. For you though, it will likely just relax you without any real high. I get to be kite status though, lucky me! lol.

Excusez-moi for grave digging.

I'm looking for an energizing legal herb that can boost focus and creativity for my writing sessions (every morning after waking up and at random hours during the weekend).

Been using cannabis for a while for this and it does help to "get in the zone", which is the first obstacle.
But I also feel kinda dumb during the high and groggy afterwards - illegal country so I don't know what I'm vaping, also high tolerance - which is not ideal, especially for morning sessions.

Any idea?
Cheers!
