What's in your vape right now?

I just wanted to say that the King Louis XIII OG I have right now really caught me off guard. Amazing piney/creamy taste that I've never encountered before, and I actually think the high is stronger and it vapes a tad thicker than the Gelato I also have atm (which is saying alot because Gelato is very good).

@CarolKing gets some of the best cannabis on the planet..i am so jealous of you and your plethora of weed..so jealois..
It's true, we west coasters have it good ;)
All of these GSC crosses are kind of similar to me in both taste and effects. The Blue Cookies I had tastes similar to the Nightmare Cookies I just ran out of, which tastes similar to the Gelato I have now. They all have superb flavour and make for a nice evening session. The Cookie Family always gets me to part with my money, no matter which strain it is.

Judging by the last couple days I've had, not fun, I'd be vaping the oddly-gets-me-high-but-totally-legal-everywhere lavender. Like, not cannabis--the stuff that famously grows in France. I know y'all are like O.O but it works for me! I don't know why either.

Fucking clueless, but that's not the strain.

I've got three buds left in my "let's throw everything into a single jar because that made sense at the time" jar. I've ground one of the two mystery buds, but after this I'm going back to NOT doing that, ha. Pretty stupid idea at the time...

Apparently. Found this out purely by accident! I went with a friend, mind you we both live in Maryland and this was before the tight asses decided to decriminalize it in certain cases.... Friend and I went to a health/natural foods store and we bought a commercial "lavender mint creme" chocolate bar, fancy gourmet stuff apparently, and we both thought it would be interesting. I thought it was super tasty on first bite and she had the exact same bar, we broke it in half. Shortly, both her AND MY MOTHER were.... a little concerned for me. I had probably my first body high ever and it was like... it felt like drugs. Like, I can't describe it another way. From what I remember I was both going a mile a minute and I was overcooked spaghetti, while also being way more goofy than anybody could have expected, me usually being the stoneface of the house. So yes, I was FUCKED. UP. The down didn't bother me either, from what I remember. The problem is they think I'm as against "drugs" .....*facepalm* as they are, and I've consistently acted like, oh, nah, nothing to worry about mommy dearest I'd NEVER try doing that again because drugs are bad! Yet here I am, with a garden and literally a lavender plant IN my garden that I'm nipping flowers off of casually for... "bath products". And they believe me since I can bathe with and use lotion containing and whatever outside my body lavender without any of the fuckedupness but if it is vaped or eaten, shhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiitt. I'm a weird case though. Like my friend who was largely unaffected, most people AT most, will experience a slight calming relaxation and maybe some tension relief. I experience no changes in my actual perception, but I don't wanna move, I don't wanna think, I'm a melted jelly noodle on a dagum heaven cloud and don't anyone interrupt me doing nothing lol! Ironically I've brought forth cannaclouds before but they did.... absolutely nothing. Don't ask me why I'm not a biochemist!

@Katnip funny story! That is about how im feeling now. I've ate about 100mg of edibles since lunch since I can't vape due to company, but I am pleasantly medicated and haven't had a dab in 3 days =)

I love medibles

Edit: Then I reread your post and your talking about lavender! Was it english lavender?

On the strength of @Katnip's testimony I went out and bought some dried lavander flowers - lavandula officicinalis, to use its botanical name (is this the variety you grow/use?). Checked vaping temperatures online and found anywhere between 100 - 130ºC (212 - 266ºF). So, I vaped some at 130ºC in the DaVinci Ascent.......mild relaxation, possibly a calming effect, but definitely not high - nothing like weed. Pleasant enough though, and I'll use it again (I've got 45 grams of the stuff now :)).
Judging by the bowl size, I already have three loads ground up just.... waiting.... for it.... I'm gonna be staring at the porch every day soon.
Congratulations on your VapCap - it has become my daily driver in a very short time. I'm not sure if your "three loads" refers to weed or lavander. The VapCap temperatures will definitely be well above 133/266º so I'm not sure how you'll use it with lavander....maybe stop heating before the famous "click". Enjoy :leaf:

Guys I did say that y'all probably won't have the same effects. Considering figuring out why, but not that curious yet. Yes, referring to lavender. I know it might be alittle strange for a cannabis dominated site to have this chick *points to self* in here messing up the general flow lol. But where else am I gonna post? Facebook? It would with a 99.9% chance translate to "Hey guys! I'm ruining my life with DRUG USE and this is a cry for help even though I don't know it yet". Sooooo...... I'm in here confusing people. Lol.

No worries @Katnip - variety is the spice of life etc. I'm happy for you, 100%. I'm glad I tried lavender, have vaped mint in the past and found it refreshing and (slightly) uplifting. Also, for some reason which now escapes me, hops (yuck). I'm just a bit worried that the temperatures in the Vapcap might be a little too high but it is very forgiving, as long as you "respect the click" you won't combust
I haven't read all your posts... just wondering, have you ever gotten high on weed? Do you think you'll try it in your new Vapcap?

I've tried.... multiple times, multiple ways, multiple types. I just refused to smoke it, since I like my lungs; I don't want soot in them. Not even temporarily. But I also have not gained any effects so, I either have "not tried it enough" or my body ignores it. I do have hormonal issues, which could be why, even though I doubt it is the whole case.

I've a good deal of experience with lavender  and I will absolutely respect the click, as has been posted I'm sure until everybody's blue in the fingery bits. Lavender does vaporize at lower temps than cannabis, that much is certain. Around 212 I think, don't remember if that's F or C. Probably F though, the numbers are stepped lower.

My upcoming M will end up being something to get used to, as I judged my heat by taste and... texture? Not the right word exactly but idk what else to call it. We will have to get to know each other quite well because I loved my Genie, but their billing isn't discreet enough for my situation right now, plus the M looks like a fancy e-cig and not a weird pipe, and a weird pipe makes people ask questions if you're lucky, but most of the time they'll assume things you don't want them to assume, even though in my case they'll be absurdly wrong.

Mint is DELICIOUS. I have two varieties of mint in my garden. One is peppermint, good all-rounder. The other is chocolate mint-vaporized it tastes like Andes. I have yet to try hops.... Maybe I'll try those too! I'm honestly up to try anything that isn't toxic or harmful in other ways. And yes, if I have the opportunity and am WELL away from my family :ninja: I may try to get ANYTHING from weed. Though I doubt I will judging by past experience. if I do, that will be something to consider in the future when I get out of this state. Maryland is a metaphorical desert in more ways than one, and I'm not going to accept that I'll be here for my entire life. I will very likely refuse any tobacco going into it though, because nicotine will eat you alive and then spit out your bones like nothing happened.

Reading your sig, @Ricardo, I'm JEALOUS of your ebony VapCap. I dabble in all sorts of artisanal shit; wood, ceramic, etc. Those are preeeeeetty. But my budget range is tight as fuck, mostly because I'm a part-time retail worker, and I wanna jet right outta mom's house as soon as humanly possible without having to go BACK. The amount of suckage doesn't have a word for it were that to happen.

If I didn't have a budget and money were no object, I would probably get a cocobolo one as cocobolo (and bubinga, zebrawood, bocote..... i'm done now) are like, woodgrain porn. I may actually want to suggest that to Dynavap... more wood choices for us wood freaks. But probably actually not zebrawood though cuz it's not recommended for foodstuffs use. Might be toxic. I wonder if a veneer glueup would be necessary..... hmmmm..... with a natural hornglue or I'm getting away with myself. Yep, I'm an artist all right lol.

Going through a pound of Candyland trim, pulling out nugglets, and using the rest of the trim as a dry hop for some beer I made. Should be interesting :)

So...Candyland nugglets :)

I think it is great to have a garden herb vaper here, and am going to go pick a few lavender and chamomile flowers from my own garden tomorrow and dry them out to see what's what? Do I dry them or do you prefer them fresh?

I've done both lavender and mint, you should try them both ways. Note: I did not like lavender myself because of the anise frontal aromatics...too much for me.

Fresh lavender is tasty as fuck, but you probably want to dry them to keep your vape happy. Chamomile is not as tasty fresh as when dried. I've dried either on paper plates, in clean crocheted bags, and in paper lunch bags with air holes in em, either way is fine honestly, just be very careful with your harvest handling so you don't get bruised material, which will create a lot more oxidation which won't taste or look good. Combine lavender and mint; you'll be glad you did. It's phenom tasty. I recommend harvesting only the purple buds of the lavender, but I've vaped fresh leaves before. They have a slightly different flavor and even though my Genie handled it idk what your vape will or will not like, and they're definitely not as tasty dried. The leaves I mean. No part of the plant is toxic though. Just less tasty.

On growing lavender: They like to be BAKED in the sun. The sunniest, drought ridden place in your yard will be perfect for them. Mulch them with light colored gravel to reflect even more sun into the green bits. The gravel holds a dual purpose in winter, when the ground alternately freezes and thaws. Keeps the roots where they should be and thus safeguards the plant. They do need water, but they don't like a ton of it. Fun fact: lavender is related to mint! Just not in the same genus.
