Vapman

Had an (likely dumb) idea yesterday about the station: Could one possibly screw a torch lighter in a wood enclosure and attach the vapman to it? (so basically a faux station)

Fun idea. You could put a floating ring on top you'd put your VM into and press down......a lever could translate the downward pressure to pushing the button on the contained torch.....

@ShayWhiteGrow damn. Two stations?! How do you put them to use? Do you entertain with them, different rooms in the house, etc?.... Wouldn't mind hearing about your station experience... looks like you own ALL the heavy hitters Too! Where does the Vapman and Station rank amongst all the best in your collection?
Thanks

Haha one is mine. @ShayWhiteGrow is a good friend of mine and we have a history of trading vapes. I sent it to him on loan, he liked it so purchased his own. I knew this would happen.

So now that you have your own you can give mine back! Lol. I really miss it!

@ShayWhiteGrow: Thanks for the video!

This a good chance for me to explain a few things a bit closer.

First of all, the station always works with the same temperature, regardless of the setting!

After preheating for about 60 to 75 seconds (depending on the outside temperature) the LED turns from red to yellow, indicating, that the station is now ready to heat vapman.

When placing vapman on the station, the LED starts to blink yellow, the first 3.8 seconds (measuring cycle)
always with the same speed and after that, it will blink faster or slower, depending on the set temperature. The higher the temperature is set, the slower it blinks after the 3.8 seconds.

When the LED turns green, the set temperature is reached and vapman should be taken from the station, if not, the temperature will be higher than indicated on the setting. Green LED also means, the heater is turned off and the station starts to cool down. The longer vapman is left on the station after the green light, the longer it will take to get back to working temperature again.

After taking vapman from the station, the LED turns from green to red, indicating that the heater is turned on again and the station gets heated up to working temperature. As soon working temperature is reached, the LED turns yellow and the station is ready for the next heating cycle.

When vapman is placed on the station while the LED is still red (heat up modus), the LED turns white and the heating process is interrupted as long vapman is left on the station. In this case, vapman should be taken from the station until the LED turns yellow again.

This video shows clearly, that the station also works when instructions are not followed 100% correctly, making it very safe and foolproof.

Don't take this post as a critic of how you use the station, I just took the chance to explain a few things a bit closer!:)

Thank you,

After some more month with the Vapmen, I found that I use the station always at home. The vaping expirience with it is consistently awesome. I'm quite good with the lighter as well inbetween, but the station is better than me. The station should get more praise in the internet. Only a few reviews out there.

I'm a bit confused, so the different settings do what exactly if it's all the same temperature? Different heating times?

Also I'd like to say after two nights of use of the station I would have to agree that no matter how good I am with the lighter the station will always be better than me. It's so consistent and the draws are just as dense but not as harsh.

I've also learned more about my vapman after using the station and helped me improve on how I use my lighter further making my experience better with this unit. I love the process that I go through and building an experience and a relationship with my unit. With the addition to the station it will always be my top choice between my butane and electric vapes as I find that the flavor for one is amazing but the one problem that I tend to have with most portable vapes is draw resistance ( Like with the solo and air ) but with the vapman its never been an issue!

During the first 3.8 seconds, the station measures the actual temperature of vapman and calculates the heating interval according to the setting. In other words, there are two factors having an influence on the heating time, it is the temparature of vapman and the setting. This explains, why the heating time is not always the same on the same setting. On setting 3 for instance, the heating time can be 7 seconds, it can also be 5 seconds only, depending on how hot vapman was when placed on the station.
The station is not as simple as it is to use, it took a while to work out the right temperature, mass of the docking part and the right algorithm for the programming. The challenge was to make the station reasonable fast and still safe without the risk of over heating.

With the station you might not get the fattest clouds but the extraction of the botanicals is close to perfect when not perfect, always gentle and efficient.

It makes me happy to know that you are happy with the station!:)

I find the Station to be incredibly fast. The first heating to reach working temperature I use for preperations. Then it's slightly slower than a good lighterwork but it's also more efficient. And there is no lighter sound, which can be nice at home for example while watching a movie. No sound at all actually. It's Zen.

@sternenstaub @204Markie @ShayWhiteGrow @ALL fellow sation users, please don't stop. keep sharing your station experiences with me. i'm living vicariously though y'all! All of the input keeps leaning me towards pulling the trigger! whoever said it is correct, there is definitely not enough reviews of the station on the net!!

No extra shipping costs, our prices are inclusive shipping!
Thanks! i can't remember if when i received my Ebony VM, i was charged duties at the boarder?

I just received my vapman station today in WPG Manitoba! I will have pictures and videos soon, picked it up on my lunch break and I'm more than excited to get off of work!
Awesome!! WPG Manitoba? Nice. if you don't mind, what was the final cost in CAD? were you charged duties as well?? How long have you been vaping with Vapman?

Does anyone use their station in the car? i remember a thousand pages back someone posted a picture with their station in the car!!
@vapman what is the warranty like on the station?? lifetime i would hope ;)

I know it's always about the bucks as well, that was what has put me off for a while too. But if you can afford it and especially if your main vapes are your Vapmen I can full hearted recommend it. Excuse the bad grammar. ;) It's a quite unique system and I think it works fantastic. It completely displaced my Mighty... Sometimes I'm a bit sad for the Mighty and I use it. And then I go back and stay for months with the Vapman.
The Station is also killer with harder concentrates. It's a perfect combination. Together with the conentrate screen from Vapman and maybe a normal sieve on top it's also not gunky at all. If you burn it later.

Thanks for your input! Interesting you mention Mighty. Yesterday after 6 months usage, was the first time i used Mighty without dosing capsules. I like the capsules, but i can now say with experience that using mighty without the capsules is truly a much better experience....
@sternenstaub did you already gravitate away from mighty Before the station, or after??

I had Mighty before I bought the Vapman as bachup and for concentrates. For me, the Vapman works better for my taste. But sometimes I liked the easy and silent usage of the Mighty - with the station there was no reason anymore for it.
Which do you use more, @Chandler

$286 CAN after I received a 15% Discount.

Ive also had the vapman for 4 months before the station.

Also I need an opinion on if shatter or honey oil gets better results in the vapman and if you have tried both and what the results we're?

Also pictures and links on where to get custom mouth pieces?

Well, Vapman became my 'go to', replacing my crafty. Crafty still had it's place. Exchanged broken crafty for upgrade to mighty. Last 6 months Mighty has received alot of attention because it's new and I wanted to put the dosing capsules to the test (plus I like it)... I've also recently added a Sticky Brick Jr to the collection, so I've spent much time learning that vape. All 3 of these vapes however, i rank Great!! Don't think I need anymore vaporizers. I'm thinking like some of you brothers (n sistas), the station may officially end my VAS.

I understand the temperature of the Vapman will directly affect heat up time, but each increment on the dial is an actual increase in the temperature output of the station no?!?
