Hi guys!

I added a CFX to my collection......it's a lot larger than my CFV but I like it.

Haven't used it yet but I have a couple questions......is the charging indicator supposed to stay on while charging? The manual says "charging the CFX while powered off, only the battery icon will be visible", mine doesn't.

Is there any place or anyone who would sell just one ELB basket set? I don't want to pay 20 bucks + shipping for 4........one it's all I need.

As always...thank you guys! Off I go to try this bad boy!

Bite the bullet, the ELBs are awesome. One would get you the bowl protecting ELb and its little cap can replace the mouth piece screen for better airflow. But bringing 1,2, or three, depending on your day, preloaded ELBs with you kicks huge ass.
Can't answer about your charging indicator cause I have the CF, but mine stays red while charging then goes green when charged.

Thanks for the support! While the CFX is charging the battery indicator will stay on for a few seconds after it is initially plugged in then the display will turn off. To check the display simply click the power button one time and the battery indicator will show for another couple of seconds. Also as Doc stated, you can unplug the charger and plug it back in.

Im sure this has been addressed somewhere here but I recently bought a CF from puffitup and have been having trouble with getting a full 5 light charge. Ive done the replug thing and it does go back to red for a while then goes green and still only 4 green lights. I got it, once, to go to full 5 light charge but its a pain to constantly nurse this thing when its charging . Am I doing something wrong??? I contacted both Boundless and Puffitup and they say no problem with a exchange but I'm hopeing someone has a quick fix. I really like the Vape but I don't get no 10-15 5 minute sessions out of a charge- maybe 5-8 at best. What says the group???

Mine hardly ever shows 5 lights after a full charge. But iI know I'll get 5 to 6 full sessions on the highest temp so i don't worry about it.

edit - I read your post again. I think expecting 12 sessions from a single charge is going to disappointed. It's not a big battery ... if you're getting 5 - 8 I'd say your CF is working as designed.

I get about 3-4 sessions per charge because i usually turn my CF back on for another half sesh after it times out at 5 mins. I mainly use level 4, 5 can burn me out a little too much and 3 is almost too light of a effect, if im using a little more than usual i will start at 3 and take 2 nice rips from it then bump up to 4.

Mine seems to lose a bit of charge overnight too. Is this normal. I did a session last night and when I turned it off it was on 3. This AM turned on to a 2! Maybe I just have a bad battery!

Yes all those devices with "soft power" buttons have a quiescent current draw. This is why if you leave them with depleted batteries for too long, sometimes you can't recharge them afterwards because the cell(s) voltage dropped so low it's beyond recoverable (the BMS will think the cell is dead and won't turn on again for safety reasons)

Hence the recommendation to store all your Li-Ion's long term between 50 and 75% charged. But never store them for long periods fully charged either, it will damage the cells too.

Try plugging the USB charging part into a USB 3 or 2.4 V charger. IME USB 2 will not get my CFV all the way charged.

To prove my point last night I was having a session with my CF the 2nd one after a full charge and the battery indicator was showing only 3 lights. At the end of the session i checked it again and it flicked to 5 lights then down to 4. Just had a wake and bake session and it was showing 4 lights of battery power.

Same here. Its all over the place. Starts at 4 goes to 2 after 2 ,5 min sessions, then flashes five, then 3. I guess it is what it is. The charge indicator circuit is, obviously, not right. Anyway!!! It seems a shame they can't get something that simple right. Anyway still works pretty good for the $$$!

It is optional, we still have a few units that have the tank included. The only problem is that we do not carry spare coils or parts for the tank although the Smiss Sub-Flipper Tanks use the same replacement coils. Let me know if you have any questions: Eric@bndlstech.com

With Boundless lowering the hybrid to $100 isn't it a better way to go vs a CF or a CFX?

You get a replaceable 18650 battery, precision 1 degree digital heating and it's less expensive.

If I were in the market for another vape the hybrid seems the way to go.
