Good news I ordered a Purple titanium hopper on 12/02/2016 and today got the address confirmation msg. so I am hoping to have in hand soon

Best News it has arrived a few days ago.

been breaking it in. and marveling over the minimal time it takes to get to set temp. I have never seen anything any other vape that is ready to hit seconds after turning it on.

and this is my last post in this thread. time to take it to the main grasshopper thread.

Congrats, happy graduation! Guess that just leaves me then:cuss:, why did I believe that shipping on-demand bs from hopper labs

I just emailed hopper labs, I'll let u know what they have to say regarding that warranty question when I hear back. My order is still "processing", if warranty policy changes I will have to back out of the purchase. Given how often some owners get their units serviced I don't need that kind of added expense if I wind up being one of the unlucky ones.

Who can say? It seems the ti models are shipping within a week of order, don't quite know about the ss models, hopefully soon bc I'm not a patient man. Another week more and I'm gonna cancel this order, not much into this waiting game.

Welcome @BigApple !

As much as it pains me to rag about HL, they have missed on projections, promises, advertised dates and all manner of production hype for several years now.

The prize for longest running false hope is a tie between leather sleeves that were promised to ship for free with some orders and the SS 'case' (cigar tube) that had problems in design phase??? and was apparently permanently scrapped though it's still shown as an item on the website -- that you can't order.

They have now, as of a week ago, entered a period that THEY call On Demand (ordering/shipping). We are trying to figure out what that means. HL is saying they have come of age. I believe that should mean a new level of credibility and forthright behavior, and I really, really want to see that. Cut the BS, HL!

I have been a supporter of HL for a long time and have spent hundreds of dollars on their product. I have loved the concept of a crowd-funded startup making a splash and kicking butt in an already alt-industry. I have dutifully made ten trips to the post office to return my Hoppers for repair and I have defended HL and some of the more questionable moves they've made along the way. For me, it's beginning to wear thin and
I've really just begun to wonder and have some doubt about viability of the whole venture, even as I love the fucking product and all the nice folks working on it.

@BigApple I really do hope you get your Hopper soon and that it works out great!

Too late to edit my previous but an explanation has occurred to me.
During the 'pre-order' life of HL, they at some point decided to increase retail presence, earlier in Europe, later in downtown Boulder, and I'm not referring to only the pre-order retail kit buyers. To the per-orderers who wondered why theirs was taking a long time, HL eventually offered the rationale that those buyers had received a discount for waiting. This is all well and good, up to a point. I understood and even accepted this apparent back seat, and appreciate(d) my discounts, and waited my year.

Now we may be looking at a similar rationale with the advent of 'On Demand' and the simultaneous $15 increase. Last week I made a wise crack about it, but maybe we really are seeing HL again prioritize delivery to the customer who is paying more.

Anyone here order a Grasshopper last week on HL website at new price? Has it shipped? Got a story?

Personally, I gave them one week already and if my order isn't processed by Fri then I'm just gonna request a refund and move on to the next item on my list. The grasshopper interests me but I'm not gonna be their little lapdog waiting for them to get their shit together. It's been long enough they can't play that "we're new to the game" amateur bs anymore, if their product is unreliable at least CS should be outstanding to balance it off. There's enough options out there, no need to dwell too long on something that momentarily caught my eye.

Ordered a backup SS unit 2 weeks ago before the price went up, they claimed 5-7 days shipping, still no word.

I'm amused by the "on demand" ordering/shipping claims.

Wishful thinking seems to be their prime directive!

I got the shipping email this morning. We ordered around the same time then, should be shipped out with the same batch I would imagine. Check your account on the site if u didn't get an email and hit them up if it's not processed. Caroline is back at work it seems, she sent me an email yesterday and said it'll be sent in a few days meanwhile it was already at the mail facility. At least it's a positive surprise for once.

I ordered on the 22nd, but still no shipping confirmation or change of status on their site.

So I sent an e-mail and received an automated reply that someone should get back to me in 2-5 days.

Now we'll see what I get first, shipping confirmation or a reply to my e-mail!

Here you have it... 1/21->3/13 ... 7 weeks and 2 days.
All emails received and my comments after.
Seems like if I followed up sooner I wold have gotten it sooner.
You can also just buy the pen and add accessories when you get the Address Confirm email.

Well this is proactive.
The availability of leather sleeve has been updated from "March" to "April". HL is finally ahead of the curve on something.

Except they've owed me one for almost 7 months now!

When I ordered, in January, it said in stock so I ordered one. It didn't come with the order. I was considering asking them to refund it.

Also the vape came with a small scratch. Other than that so far so good.

I wait because mine was 'free'.
Lots of folks early on were promised a free sleeve and some did get theirs. Then the supply all dried up and the availability date just keeps changing. Many moons have passed.

You might consider asking to refund the sleeve price and put it toward one of the new Performance Front Ends. I recently got one and think it's great.

I do hope your are enjoying the new hopper! I find that if I keep my expectations of reliability low then I'm not pissed off when they fail! But we have 2. :nod: And I do think they're getting better in this respect.
I just enjoy the heck outta them while they work, send 'em in when they don't.

how long does it take ups innovation to deliver a package from us to europe? my tracking information did not change since monday 27th. It says: shipment information received by ups mail innovation.and package status: order processed ready for ups. I got told tracking starts after my package got to the ups in california. does someone have a clue? did HL already dispatched the package or only informed ups about the shipping. I did like the usps shipping more and this new ups shipping method is not cheaper nor does the tracking work better then with usps as far as ups is is handling the package anyway to usps to shipp abroad. i am very dissapointed witz this new shipping method which HL now uses/offers...

What are u referring to? If u mean any kind of order then yes, I ordered the PFE and received the shipping confirmation a few hours later. If u meaning the hoppers then u might want to be more specific, the different models ship out at different times based on availability.

I ordered a SS hopper along with a spare battery and pfe.

Recent Update said they had SS on hand, but there was also later word that the pfe's had run out (I believe it said 1 week out but we know how that can go...). This could be holding things up.
The first lesson we all must learn in this Hopper game is patience!

Drop an email to service, maybe they can send what hey have, back-order the pfe?

FYI...My "in-stock" PFE turned into one month until received...

It looks like they severely underestimated the initial demand fro pfe's.
Bigger problem is that when they saw the supply go down in a matter of days, they only revised the ship estimate to one week. This reflects the same flaw we've seen over and over from HL regarding 'the future' and apparent disrespect for the calendar.
