does it sputter when you tilt it? That's the main problem with all the torches I have

Hope no one thinks I'm a perv or something but I love holding these bricks in my hand even when they are not in use. They just captivate me:nod:
No sputtering at all. I would recommend ordering a couple to have spares, and sometimes you just get a dud, even with the better torches.

The torch listed is great all around. It lights first try almost every time, has a nice large visible tank, and offers a wide range of flame size adjustment that is perfect for the OGBrick.

I agree about holding the Brick too, I love to do it, even when I'm not hitting it. It just feels so good in my hand for some reason.

Can anyone recommend me a jet lighter that doesn't make a noise each time its used? I need it for stealth purposes to use with the Brick.

Are you referring to the click of the torch?

Yea that click sound is a dead giveaway for stealth purposes...I want something that operates like the wheel soundless. Also I wanted to know how come the OG has a straight heat intake where the JR has a angle heat intake? Just by looking at the pictures it looks like the angle one would be a lot more easier to use compare to the straight one.

Just finished a 2-ish month break while I got laid off and then got a new job. Celebrated by getting a cherry og. I was really tempted by the maxx, but there's just something about the cherry og. Got the junior wpa too.

Oh and can I give you all of my money for the junior in your wpa photo on the site? That is so damn pretty.

Hey guys! I just picked an OG Brick from the classifieds for what I think is a pretty good price. I ordered some S&B dosing capsules, and a torch lighter too. Anything else I need to know about? Thanks in advance.
Welcome to the Sticky Brick family! The beauty of the Bricks is that they don't need much in the way of extra accessories or knowledge. I would just recommend reading the thread while you wait to discover different user's techniques.

The Brick is a manual vaporizer which means it can be used many ways, and over time you can fine tune it to your ideal performance. It will take a little time and practice to achieve this, don't become discouraged.

My personal piece of advice with the Sticky vaporizers is: "when in doubt, increase your draw speed". Butane torches have a much larger amount of potential energy than a battery, so the old-fashioned rule of moderating your draw speed is a thing of the past!

A main concern with the Brick is slight scorching, an increased draw speed will fix this and also minimize the amount of stirring you need to do. I'm at the point where I can pack a chamber 2/3 full, at least .2 grams, and never have to stir, except for maybe a weak clean up hit. You will develop the perfect technique for your own personal needs over time.

@ambertrichome glad to see another OZent here, thanks for sharing, looks good! Bit pricy but worth it for a well functioning lighter and good health :)
Yeah it's a bit pricey, but our choices for butane here seem a little limited compared to the states. I'm still researching what butane/torch to buy. I'm heading off to a kitchenware store today to checkout there torches and other potential vaping toys:tup: I hoped my post might provoke some Aussie vapers to spread some knowledge/experience.:worms:

Aloha fellow FC'ers. I picked up a beautiful walnut sticky brick OG during the 420 sale.

It's the first I've seen that doesn't have a center hole. The wood grain and finish are amazing.

I do have a question about the warranty for the bodies though. The SB website from which I ordered it states that the wood bodies have a lifetime warranty (http://www.stickybricklabs.com/home.html#!/OG-Brick-Walnut/p/68214006/category=19928061), yet the paperwork that came with it states that the wood only has a three year warranty. :hmm: Did they recently change the warranty for the bodies?

Sorry for the confusion, but your wood body definitely has a lifetime warranty. That's a great looking unit!

As for the center hole, we have eliminated the center hole for the OGB. It seems a lot of customers wanted the solid wood look more then the hole which was mostly aesthetic as we try to let the community have a say in the flow of the devices.

I guess you could call mine the OG OG Brick. It does not have the flared mouthpiece and intake, it does have a center hole, and the logo is on the bottom. I love it so much, but I like the new design a lot too. Now that SBL is offering exotics I might have to get another one when I'm not so broke.

Anyone got any experience using this with moroccan style non-melt solid hash? I'm loving it with dry herb, but hash seems a little more difficult. Increasing the flame size does help but I'm not getting those thick clouds out of it.

I think the S&B dosing capsules might work well for this but I'm not sure. They would add a decent amount of conduction which might help you achieve those clouds you're looking for.
