Yep. They did raised .7 million a few years back. More of a runway than either Firefly or Grasshopper. If they were going to actualluy build a vaporizer they would have done so by now.

You seriously think they took all the money and ran? lol What makes you say that?

It's not that one of the founding engineers stepped away, from I understand he was ousted by miraj sp? I like this vape I truly believe they will release it, but they screwed this guy over from what I understand. I believe that's why this vape is getting such bad karma from FC users.

I certainly hope that they do. But that much money and this long a period of time? The real question is why you still think that they will.

Well the pics of Neeraj in Italy stuffing his face didn't help. Nor the admission that he made of taking an expensive private aircraft to some meeting, or the pic of the Loto Labs crew dining out.

Also I like Mirage better that Neeraj . .. it explains this whole situation better . .. :worms:

Id be more worried about them using pre-order $$ for trips to Milan Italy....
I tried to find the photo of Neeraj partying in Italy but it has been removed . . .

So its obvious where the $$$ is going and its not to the vape imho . . ..

Idk if you're joking, I'm medicated. James Lin tho, 1 post above u.

Also pink kush is insane. I have a nice tolerance and 3 vape sessions later I'm on the same tank. :sherlock: This has neverrrrr happened to me. I have epilepsy, have been having a lot of seizures, and am in heavy anticonvulsant withdrawal (changing pharma meds), and this stopped them, brought my appetite back, puts me to sleep on come down and completely changes my mood.. seriously recommended for medical patients. /ot

@Astedra

Stop drinking the kool aid... These people have more pictured evidence they spent the money on trips and food than they do actual vape development of any kind.

The release is over two years and counting late with no tangible release in the future.

We hope everyone had a wonderful 4/20 weekend.

We're sorry for our lateness in update. We've had a lot of scares and turbulence over the past few weeks, and we're a small (but awesome) team, just trying to make a lot happen for everyone. We just ask that you please keep this in mind, and know that if we haven't updated, we're going crazy and aren't able to report anything we feel fully confident in saying yet.

That being said, we have great news to share: Evoke is a considerable way through production now, and we will begin shipping within the last two weeks of May, as quickly as they're assembled. So, we WILL, for sure, begin shipping in May, and continue to ship from then on, as soon as they're off the production line. We are extremely relieved to report this.

During the pause in production, we took to the opportunity to make some great, but not-too-dramatic, design improvements to the Evoke body, shrinking it a bit, and making it even prettier and more ergonomic. These were improvements we had slated for further down the line, but were able to finish and implement astonishingly quickly, before our engineers were done with the board changes. We're genuinely, thoroughly proud of how everything turned out. Take a look at her makeover below and please let us know what you think!

hQF0qmVA_s7-hCadXKs8y43oDyFEK9nmAZdv3TA3iKzdryn4r2D2KsWwJ63EPzQ5DOV1PmyRQo2l2AfHn-NnIbqxGmYbEFD_FS9KeoToQ9JUHYI64jjG1bTIjmgNccppwREHHg62cKnBYtg=s0-d-e1-ft

After production resumed, we got the upsetting news that the tooling for the metal bodies was going to to take up to 12 weeks! This was totally unacceptable and very different from the initial information we were given, so it was especially tough to swallow. We immediately began researching all possible solutions, scouring the earth for suppliers and metal workers, and crunching numbers. Ultimately, we decided to spend a great deal more to have the metal frames for our initial units machined using a reductive metal process -a far more expensive, but initially quicker, process, with no tooling or sacrifice on quality. Concurrently, we are getting the tooling underway for future production, which is essential for larger batch sizes. This is the only way we'd be able to meet our expectation to ship in May, and continue to ship during the lenghy tooling process. Obviously, we had to do it. The image you see above is what it will look like. :)

What does this all mean? Well, we are projecting that all (to-date) pre-sale online purchases will have shipped by the end of May, as well as units for our first 60 IndieGogo supporters. We will continue fulfilling remaining supporters in the months that follow. The cost to manufacture initial units is substantially greater than individual donations. Despite this, we conservatively estimate that fulfilling crowdfunders, in order of earliest contribution to latest, will take no more than four months, while also fulfilling all legal obligations to pre-sales and ongoing sales. It could be less time, depending entirely on sales. We are extremely motivated to make sure all our contributors receive units as quickly as humanly and financially possible. We've adjusted a lot to make sure we do so in just a matter of months.

Additionally, we're happy to announce that 1% of all revenue from this date forward will go to fund cancer research-we are still in the process of picking the exact charity, but will announce our decision as soon as it's made. Contributing towards the obliteration of this awful disease is one of the primary reasons we started Loto Labs, and it's a promise we made to ourselves from the beginning. So, we're glad we can soon begin making modest efforts toward a cause that's personally very important and nonnegotiable to us. We are very anxious to increase that percentage as soon as all prior commitments have been fulfilled.

Anyway, that's all we've got for now. We will have some exciting announcements in store in coming weeks. Again, from everyone in the Loto Family, we wish you the happiest and safest of 4/20 weekends, and hope the vibes are nothing short of grand wherever you are.

Peace, love, and vaping,

The Loto Labs Team

What's your reaction to this post?
Your feedback will help Neeraj Bhardwaj improve future updates.

This is awesome!

Thanks for sharing

I'd like more info.

Yeah no tangible release date, ok man, that's not what they are saying. I mean how many times was the grasshopper delayed? I like the look of the vape, and it is basically conduction, but so is the IQ, and it's popular to. Plus in theory as there is no coil, it shouldn't brake so often. Removable batteries are a plus. Only thing I won't like I think is the capsule format, dumping the ABV, and loading. When you dump it you have to remember to not throw away the heating element, and it must be hot when you are done vaping, so how do you handle it? More info on this would be nice.

so if you're not within the first 60 indiegogo supporters, there still is no ship date for you? They're hoping to fulfill within the following months?

Sooo...

They are shipping to "advance sales" customers before shipping to the majority of the people that gave them $ to get off the ground in the first place.

Well that's what they are saying, I mean that's what they are predicting, most likely a may shipping date will be end of summer, but it should come soon I hope. Remember what the grasshopper did with the shipping dates. I don't think it will be worst then the hopper, I mean without glass the hopper aint that great.

Maybe if the devil made a vape I would buy it :)

Again, that might get delayed, but so have other start ups.

Yes....I think that's cause retailers, like us, are tired of the wait and are doing some pressure on Lotolab to get their preorders fullfilled.

If I remenber well the contribution was 100$ (99 in fact) so for sending out 60 units out it rest 700 000- 6000= 644 000/100= 6440 units might to be under production (and this is only the IG campaign part, not the pre-orders I think (except if pre-orders are coming from the retailer kit sold in the IG campaign). To be honnest all this maths is not precise enough, so take it with a big grain of salt....

Mighty gets a pass on size cuz it is what it is. Big bang and long battery life compensate for the size. If the evoke performs like Mighty or better that would make up for a lot. I still would not like the white mouthpiece (it cheapens it imo) and the plump size takes it from a discreet out and about vape to a home only deal, but again Mighty performance......

This is the most disappointing cause I signed for it cause I loved the original design, at least GrassHopper was able to respect its criterias. Lotolabs is so far from their original goal that's totally disrespect for IG supporters, if I sign for a a sport car and got a truck it's disappointing (except if the truck is so good you'll change your mind....but I have doubts)!!

I don't know if I'm one of the first 60 IG supporters... I think not. We will be the beta testers imo...

I feel your pain. The OG design was aesthetically pleasing. Now, not so much. Can you get your money back?

You attempted to purchase a wood body vape not a blob of plastic.

Don't look nowhere big as the mighty, I still don't understand all the hate for this vape. The original design looked like a cheap chinese vape.

I don't think I'd call it hate. Feels more like disappointment and from what I read here your opinion is in the minority. Going to bow out of the discussion at this point. I don't have a horse in this race......

Have there been any successful tests of a prototype by anyone? I've only seen their own in-house staged videos and the video of it failing by a 3rd party.
