My WS has been kicking butt ever since I got it. Really happy with the quality and the little details that @Ed's TnT included in this new log vape that just hit the marketplace.
Ive had mine for 3 weeks, it doesn't feel like it.

This vape is a heavy hitter when you want it to be or if all you want to do is sip you can do that too. I'm continuing to use the modified M VapCap stem. Using the carb hole to add airflow or slow it down to get some massive vapor clouds. This unit is top of the line IMO.

I've been mostly using temp around 7.5 and using my SLX as a grinder which is a medium grind. The WS gives your bud some wonderful vapor taste.

Some Buckeye Burl for you guys... I'll get some close ups when I get back home... You knocked it outta the park Ed, beautifully crafted, and super efficient. Thanks again sir!

I've been a longtime lurker to FC and have stopped all combustion thanks to you guys, so thank you all!

Just out of curiosity, I have a M on the way from Dynavap and I see a lot if you folks talking about using them with the WS, can someone explain to me how that works please? I've never used one, but have heard great things about them and couldn't pass on the sale. Thanks guys.

This is my mouthpiece I've been using here lately. Combining a modified VapCap as a stem. Works awesome using the carb hole to increase or decrease air to create some huge clouds and good flavor which is the most important thing for me. I love using the wood stem too. The glass stem doesn't fit well on the heating post but it still can be held in place while taking a draw.

Wow, good afternoon everyone, have had a great time out over the Easter Holiday, the boys and I went with my girl and her kids to her moms place up over in Oklahoma, did 4 days there, put me way way behind but was a great time spent and getting to know her family. We even went to the highest hill in the world at 1,999' it has the record, was neat looking out from the top and seeing the city below. The place is slam covered up with walnut trees, they dont get very tall there I guess cause of the rocky soil and the constant wind ohhhh but guess what I grabbed a few fallen logs, got some in cedar and I think its walnut but its just the right size for a WS that it doesnt have a dark heartwood center, hmm not sure maybe hickory, I have never worked any this small and in log form to know what it looks like inside. I have an idea, Rick at MZ had a short run of what he called out on a limb units that had live edge in different parts of the vape, I got one and posted a pic of it somewhere here. I wanna do this kinda WS soon so be on the look out. Was really fun looking and gathering wood, felt like I was on the hunt for gold! We also went to a native american indian mounds park, that was way cool, we did a lot of walking and looking at them, not as they were pictured to even be on the magazine we noticed that was showing them, sucked even the biggest coolest mound that we wanted to see foremost wasnt even in oklahoma, it was in Alabama and didnt even make mention of its location, ah well we still had a great time. Got those awards in from the boys shoots a few short weeks back, my youngest got 1st place in air rifle and 3rd in ait pistol talk about grinning I think him and I both were from ear to ear, that was the best and so happy for him, he has quite the eye and can only seeing it getting better and better, not bad for 8 years old!

Got a few WS went out this week, these were some real lookers, cant wait to hear how the owners like em, am very happy with em. I am even adding the WS QC Checklist to each and every log from here on.

Going to be rolling out a 420 sale tomorrow so be on the look out will be site wide, will get out the code and details then!

@CarolKing Wow really like seeing all your posts and enjoyment for that piece, makes it all worth it and I thank you so much for spreading the word! Sure would like to see more of that from the others. Really do love your pics you post and that new VC is that the M? Thats the cats ass for sure, do what you do my lady!

@Thatsmyb1kepunk Hey there and thanks for your post, got a nice rig there with some great accessories, appreciate the pic and like @Puffers mentioned I cant wait to see more pics from you and others!

I was hoping there'd be a sale, and 10% off a Woodscent is awesome.

My girlfriend liked the Mexican Katalox, so that's what I picked up. She seemed less annoyed with my VAS when I asked her to help me pick one. :D

Thanks Ed!

Found a neat little mod. The Ed'sTnT Haze wpa fits nicely in the WS stem and WonG. I probably won't use it with the stem but I love it added to the 14/18 WonG for carefree adapting to 14mm instead of holding in place. Fits like a glove!

Hi Ed, random question: does the Thuya Burl WS have a cedar (or cedar-like) odor to it? I read a bit on Thuya wood. What I read said, as a relative of cedar, it does a have a strong cedar-like smell to it. Just curious if that scent is noticeable in the finished product? I personally really like the smell of cedar, and I think, besides the beautiful wood pattern, having such a smell would be an added bonus.

Plus, this product is the WoodScents after all. ;)

I got all good wires for my Woodscents a little while ago (thanks, Ed!) and I'm impressed with everything I've tried. imo, we have a new efficiency king for herbs! I've never used anything that can deliver as satisfying a hit on so little. This Ti stem doesn't hold shit, and it doesn't need to. It has three screen settings, and the largest holds 0.1 grams, with the other two holding 0.04 grams and 0.015 grams. This is when packed tightly. The smallest setting gave me wispy but effective visible vapor, while the medium setting gave me big hits. I can finish a bowl in one hit, with a second 'clean up' hit for about 1 1/2 hits total. The ABV came out tan and evenly cooked without stirring. I used temp settings 8 and 9 and loved 8. I finished it off with candy cane oil aromatherapy set on 3 and it filled the room and hallway with scents. I've got it up to 4.5 now and will see if that's too high.

I'm just getting started here, but I've used the glass stem a few times as well and like to use it for larger loads. This kit is cool because it is so versatile. I can have the wood stem throughout the day microdosing to keeps effects in control, and then switch to the glass stem later to wind down. With a bubbler nearby I can really cache a load in a single hit using the wong and Ti tip, and the glass gong with pinches will be perfect for nuggets on the bowl. That doesn't even touch concentrates yet.

Anyhow, I've got company coming over tonight and this is going to be the feature piece, so I hope to have some more impressions of different use types soon. But this thing is a winner and might bring logs back into my weekly routine! It's got an internal design with long life in mind, all the things you need for any use type, and effective microdosing like I've never experienced (maybe the PD, but it's been years)!

I think that's what I was really impressed with was how little cannabis it takes to medicate with this unit. A perfect unit for micro dosing. I have had my WS for a month and I have saved on cannabis since I received it.

I've been continuing to use the VC modified M as a stem. I also like using the wooden stem but prefer using the ti tip screwed onto the end of it. I haven't tried taking out the screen to different depths. I'm going to need to buy another ti tip so I won't have to be twitching back and forth. I haven't been using the glass stem much because it doesnt sit on top of the heater post as well as the ti tip. Mine needs to be held in place.

This is a nice piece of vaporizing equipment that can be left out as an aroma oil therapy defuser when it's not being used to vaporize. It doesn't need to be hidden away if the wrong friend or relative happens by.

7.5 or slightly above is my fav temp. But sometimes I will turn it down or up depending on the cannabis. Using the carb hole on the VC M I can achieve some huuuge clouds. I don't need to heat soak the stem my load heats quickly with excellent flavor.

There's only positives I can say about @Ed's TnT new log vape, uses less cannabis, excellent flavor and easy to maintain. Plus a beautiful piece of vaporizer wood art.

If you've never tried a log vape I highly recommend this one.

Good evening everyone, wow has been a busy and good past few days this last week. Spent some good time with the boys, my middle son and I have been building a chicken coup, he is going to start showing chickens through 4H so rather than have them running around the place and having Major chasing around after them and Daly, yeah thats right I got Major a friend yesterday, will show and tell bout her in a few, we have made a big coup and once they get bigger we will make a large pen for them. Should be fun for him to do this and I am not sure how many of you all have ever eaten range fed eggs, rrrrrrr they make great scrambled thats for sure! So we had range practice Saturday and one of the ladies shes a range officer brought a few pups that she couldnt sell, 2 males and a female, kyle and I liked the female the most he asked me a time or two could we get her and I told him lets think about it knowing all well I wanted to get her before he said anything. We went and watched his brothers shoot for a bit and gave it some time in case someone else wanted to get her or not. Got back to the air range and she was still there so we brought her home. She is half pit/boxer cute as she can be, I really like the white blazes

x5mIvoy.jpg

on her and after a couple days here she is fitting in. She stays pretty close to my feet, while I am turning she is tucked near the bone yard and when I trash a piece she is there to chew on it lol. I have really enjoyed her since she arrived.

StXza7L.jpg

She is a bit intimidated by Major but who wouldnt be he is a 120lb beast whos head is as big as her whole entire being. He is getting accustomed to her, I have seen him want to play some with her but she is still warming up. I really like her back feet with the white blazes on them as well, she is a heart stealer no doubt! I have been turning quite a bit and couldnt help myself thinking about those logs I brought back from OK. yeah has been real tough!! So as I said @Rick had a line way back called "Out on a limb" not sure how many he did maybe 3-4, I only know of one other that has one, not sure where the others made it to. I have one and its one of my prized pieces, Rick did a bang up job there at AZ/MZ/CRZ. I reached out to him when I first made it to FC and he worked with me and helped me get started in this industry, big thanks to him for all he did and does to this day! Oh BTW I have a couple old old way back AZ and MZ pieces that will be in my hands very very soon! So anyhow this is my turn at "Out on a limb"

3twF2kK.jpg

I an not a 100% sure this species above but one thing is sure, you so gotta love Mother Nature and live edge wood work! Now how bout this cutie below

LUxNQAo.jpg

I know this piece above is Cedar that is certain. Keep in ind these pieces came from the worlds highest hill, may sound corny and all that but who has a live edge piece from there????????? Hmmm I wonder??? Lol, I gotta assemble them and do a bench test heat treat to see how they will react. The top pieces seems dry the Cedar may not so be, only one thing to do right!

Got alot coming very soon, just got a shipment of glass in I have to go through with several new pieces never seen before, a few restocks and a all for popular units. I even have some sweet wood pieces on the way from Wood4Vape that you all are going to trip out how freaking sweet they are, show stoppers, dont figure either the glass or the wood will last long at all so be on the look out! Dont forget the 420 sale is still running through the end of the 25th. As many of you know I am sure, I dont do sales or discounts, rarely ever do I run em, its so much work to make all these pieces and time is what I never have, so if you wanna take advantage of a discount best to do it now!

@savorntrees Woot woot, glad you snagged that piece bro, just wait til you have it in hand, I love the Katalox, just the way it feels in hand the sleek density of the wood oh its feels like top shelf wood, it handles like a Mercedes and kicks like a mule! What do they say bout a woman, RRRRR the Katalox beauty coming your way is a freak!

@DrHermman Thanks much my man, I appreciate ya, I know its been a bit, I hope all is well your way! You might wanna let me know when you are ready, I just spoke to my guy about another big slab of BE and he is telling me what I want to hear. I have a few still in blocks not many, I am on the lookout and hope to snag more soon, I cant guarantee when or if I run out when I will have more.

@Thatsmyb1kepunk I dont blame you bro, that is a beautiful piece! BTW the bubbler sits nicely on the WS, just curious where did you grab that from? Nice pics for sure!

@KidFated. Hey hey my man, believe it or not I was in the shop thinking bout you the other day, somehow you just popped in my head and I thought about fishing, lol I hope you have had a chance to wet a hook, you know I wanna hear about it! Thanks much for the kind words my man, its so good to see you, has been a while and dont think for sec I dont appreciate you!

@SSVUN~YAH You are the man, I love seeing your posts, good thinking on the mod and assembly, I assure you I would have never thunk it, well done! BTW do you have video? I havent seen anyone do any footage with the WS, is there no one capable of such a task?

@LazyVaper Ah my man it does have a cedar like similarity to it, thing is its very apparent when I work it, when I rip it bore it and turn it you can smell it but after a bit it looses its potency. There is still a somewhat fragrance when its done and headed to you but is lessened much when its all done and after heat treat. I feel it be best to ask @CarolKing how would you say that after all your time with your WS has the odor dissipated since or is it still there somewhat?

@stickstones Wow my man, you really layed it down there bro, thanks so much for your clear and concise feelings of the WS, if you are happy I am ecstatic and thats why I have done what I did! I like this statement the most "imo, we have a new efficiency king for herbs! I've never used anything that can deliver as satisfying a hit on so little" thats what logs have always been about and @CarolKing states it ever so often it only takes a little to get so much! You also said like others have whole nuggets work so well, I feel this is another sure sign of the power this beast has and how much of a work horse it is. Well done my man well done!

@CarolKing You are a real trooper my lady, you do so much and through all you deal with in your life and still spread the word for me as much as you do means alot to me! I am very grateful to you and have always appreciated you! You mean a lot to me and pls pls do get with me anytime you think I can do something, I would be honored to get you right. I am not sure your entire situation but would be honored if I can do you a solid as you do for me and have done for oh so long!

The Thuya Berl does have a great flavor. In the beginning you will definitely taste the wood intermingled with your vapor but after a while the wood stems will take on the vapor taste of the cannabis. I just sniffed inside my unit itself and I can still smell the original wood smell inside. The log unit itself doesn't take on the cannabis smell. That's probably a good thing for stealth reasons.
The ti tip can be added to the wooden stem or used with the GonG.

(I'm in love with Major's sister I think so is Gretchen who is a pit boxer mix but looks like a pit. She doesn't care what gender a dog is. She just loves.)
I got my stems back from Ed and love using them with water.
I have a question about the stems. While waiting for them I've been using my vapcaps minus their caps as the woodscent stems. I've seen them as interchangeable.
Do the woodscent ones from Ed need a conderser to work with a vapcap? And is there any reason not to use a vapcap with a condenser with the woodscent?
