Life Saber (LSV) by Elev8 Vehicles

Persona Non Grata

turn on, tune in, hulk out
My LSV is crapping out on me now after about 3 years of constant use. I have to have it cranked to max temp to get any vapor at all. And still not that hot, about like it used to be at like 12oclock.

Has anyone ordered a cosmetic 2nd from 7th floor? Happy with it?

Also whats the deal with stick stones website? Its apparently dead? I haven't been around for a while..

Have you considered sending your current LSV back to 7th floor for service? There are some arrangements and requirements that would need to be addressed first but customer service should be able to help with those details. (719) 570-9928. Good Luck

Sounds like you may need to pull out the heating element a bit more than it is. Over time, it can creep back into the housing.

If that's not it, try changing to another electrical outlet.

I'd check on these issues before sending your LSV to 7th Floor.

Ahah! This was the problem. I could pull the ceramic bit out about 1 cm further

I did notice the body of the unit was getting hotter than normal as well.

It is working much better now. Thanks lwien

I was going to say the same thing as @lwien

If the element is positioned correctly then there should be some lettering and a hyphen visible. If it's sunken down then that will definitely cause subpar performance, and the lsv may feel uncomfortably hot to the touch.

Edit: looks like that resolved the issue

@dgmulf I used my lsv for micro loads for a while before getting into log vapes. I can say it performs very well, but I do still prefer larger loads. I can fill up enough for a session and hit it all day or kill it in 4 or 5 massive rips.

I think I may be the only person that still prefers using the stock shorty wpa to the 18m2m and ELB/EQ mod lol

Yup. Ideally, it should look like this but don't force things.

When people say they're lsv doesn't hit hard enough, this is one of the first things I tell them to check. It doesn't get mentioned often enough imo. Both of my lsv's required some adjustment out of the box. It's amazing what that little quarter of an inch will do for vapor production

Got my LSV back a day earlier than it was supposed to, and that was taking Presidents Day into account! Guess with the repair they went ahead and upgraded the bottom power cable thing, looks new and shiny and not how I remember it. Same for the light I think? The 18mm male to male screen pack still has some hits left, I only filled it 3/4 of the way up with some Tahoe OG and it's already fucking me up. The temp knob was a bit off so I ended up getting a black spot (and a hotspot) on the first pull. Forgot how effortless the vapor comes out of these things... where's my big party GonG, we're getting funky tonight...

Very cool, definitely have always had a need for this with my LSV

Dangus

Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
I still use mine daily as well, 4+ years and still running like a champ.

I usually don't have much to say as it's a minimal fuss vape that works very well....once dialed in, there's not a ton of reasons for me to continue posting...but then again, I've only posted ~500 times over the past ~5 years...some folks are a tad more active.

Anyways, I still consider the LSV a top choice desktop vape for the price.

its funny to watch the sales and use cycles that many vapes go through, there is often that 'new model" thing that occurs. Followed by a plateau in interest and then often a contraction in sales and hype as the vape actually finds it true user base. That point is probably where its easiest to find successful vapes when hunting for a good vape. That is if one can avoid the "new model" model of merchandising.

Thanks!

So I'm planning to sell two versions of this stand: Complete kit with base and tool-stand, Vape-Stand with no base or toolstand to be mounted wherever you choose.

I'll be listing this stand on my store within the next month, anyone who's interested in receiving an email when it's available can PM me. Or you can subscribe to my store's RSS feeds to be alerted when a new product is added (I try to add at least one or two new inventions every month to my shop)

I like mine however it would be nice if there were an out of the box method to secure the vape onto the stand. Overall I really like the stand, the gripper feet are nice and the printed parts more do their job. Thanks and good luck with the rest of the project.
