We'll ship SOURCE slim 4 next week, we had to delay due to the Holiday Season and new regulations.

If you're referring to the temperature inside the Buckets of our 4 Series SOURCE nail atomizers, if you're using TC, they are within 50F give or take of the temperature displayed.

When can ppl buy just the attachment? I don't need any more batteries.

Are the 4 Series SOURCE nail atomizers the same that come in the Source Orb 4 signature kit? I am just trying to understand if you have new atomizers or if this is just a new battery and mouthpiece basically.

If anybody here has the source nail bubbler attachment could you please tell me the diameter of the baseplate for the bubbler (510 attachment) and / or for the glass globe that came with it as well...

Thank you in advance

Been happily using my Orb 4 for months now with the nail bucket atomizers. i still think quartz is the best for taste, but I use the titanium more since it's durable and seems to heat more predictably. I've shattered one quartz while scrubbing burnt carbon off the inside (my fault using too much strength), but the titanium can be scrubbed vigorously without concern.

Has anyone perfected low temp vaping the nails without getting bubbles? I still get a bubble which prevents vapor 1 out of 5 times the first hit after a refill. It's a small annoyance that wastes most of the dab you just put in, which splatters up the walls of the atomizer when the bubble bursts. I always load very small amounts (~0.05g) like a grain of uncooked rice. Through my limited testing it seems to be caused by some combination of loads too large or temp too low, but it's hard to replicate intentionally.

Really excited seeing the new Slim 4! Always wanted a mouthpiece that could take the Source nails but looks like a 510 nicotine vape. Will be picking this up from Source or Planetvape.ca when it's back in stock. Hoping the next version down the line gets magnets instead of the rubber o-rings, although the o-rings give hope a future bubbler might be possible.

The Orb 4 mouthpiece works for the nails. Do you find any leakage coming through the bottom pins on your nail atomizers? Are the threads for your nail attys ever gunked up?

I'm referring to the temps at the settings on the slim4's battery when used with coil-free Quartz

We can have estimations, but these would only be for specified timeframes. Unless it's a Temp Control battery, you can't really say a variable voltage/wattage battery has a "set temp" setting. The longer you power the atomizer, the hotter it gets.

Unfortunately, the launch for SOURCE slim 4 Travel Kits and SOURCE nail Premium Kits has been delayed until February due to new regulations.

When can ppl buy just the attachment? I don't need any more batteries.

We'll have these available in February.

Yes. We have 3 atomizer lines:
Think of the XL Series as the iPad of the SV product line, it works with its atomizers, as well as the smaller 3 & 4 Series.

The Orb 4 mouthpiece works for the nails. Do you find any leakage coming through the bottom pins on your nail atomizers? Are the threads for your nail attys ever gunked up?

We recommend using less or getting the temperature higher faster. The new v1.5 longer models we currently sell are much better also than the shorter v1 versions.

If you really like coil-less, also look into our SOURCE terra 2 atomizer.

PS: Stay tuned for some new toys. XL Series growth, and some 4 Series upgrades.

Hi Jimi,

Thank you for contacting Sourcevapes.

There are two versions of the Source nail atomizers, the longer ones and the shorter ones, the shorter ones are the older version and are the ones on clearance, they perform the same, its just that we released the newer version and this is why the item was tagged as old.

We are still waiting for the return label to be generated, rest assured it will be emailed to you once available.

Thank you for purchasing SOURCEvapes!

STOP LYING TO PEOPLE SOURCE.

They perform the same: the specially designed Ceramic Donut heats up the Bucket above. Both models use the same Buckets and Ceramic Donut.

The newer v1.5 model has the following changes:
  • Inside/Male Screw Cap
    • Less likely to screw the Bucket too hard and break the atomizer
    • Holds the Bucket in place better
  • Longer Body
    • Holds the Top of SOURCE orb 4 in place
These are better suited changes for what the poster mentions. This doesn't necessarily make them better overall, some people prefer our original v1 because of the changes. Sorry, if we made it seem as better overall.

Here's some of the reasons some customers think v1 are better:
  • Outside/Female Screw Cap
    • Easier to unscrew and clean
  • Shorter Body
    • Easier to use with SOURCE nail. Lower to the Carb Cap.
It's a matter of preference for each customer, which is why we offer the options.

So I finally go to use my gift card I received from Source Vapes, after discontinuing a product with a "lifetime warranty" which was on the market for less than a year. They told me the battery from my Orb 3 was discontinued and gave me a $33 gift card for their store, which isn't even enough to replace with their own battery. I never wanted a gift card, I wanted a working vaporizer with a lifetime warranty like they sold me. Fast forward to today and I go to order some Orb 3 atomizers, as these are again discontinued and I want to give this pen away with some fresh Terra's. They won't even ship my order unless I give them all of my personal information including a copy of my photo ID! You gotta be kidding me! I had to give them my ID already when I filed a support ticket, which already made me extremely uneasy and was surely a mistake of me to do in the first place. Now some other site wants to keep my drivers license on file for me... No thanks. If these banks and gigantic corporate firms can't keep anyones personal information secure, your BS authentication site sure as hell can't.

I think it would be extremely difficult for a company to provide worse customer service than Source Vapes has done to me.

new Attachment with a much stronger magnet.
Just received my Orb4 and a pack of quartz nails. Very impressed.

Is there a trick to get the magnet to stay in the bottom?
Comes off with the mouthpiece every time. I'm press fitting the magnet into the base for each use.

SOURCE orb 3 isn't discontinued, and neither are 3 Series atomizers. If you were told differently please send us an email to HQ@SOURCEvapes.com with your ticket number.

Unfortunately, Age Verification is required by Law both Federal and State in (California).

Here's more information on it.

Same. It only happened once and I press fitted it back in. So far no problems.

If the magnet continually falling out is a problem, feel free to email us and we'll replace it since it's covered under our Lifetime Warranty.

The magnets are secured with pressure since we don't use any glue in our attachment.

When do you estimate the Volt Max battery will be back in stock? Also, the 18650 battery charger?

I'd like to purchase these.

Thanks

You do know you can charge directly through the battery right? I understand it is a good idea to have a separate battery charger anyway but I wanted to make sure you knew it could charge directly.

Also, the battery that Source sells is a Joyetech eVic VTC Mini 60W TC just so you know. You can find much better prices for as low as 1/3 the cost that Source sells them for...for instance on fasttech- https://www.fasttech.com/product/3331700-authentic-joyetech-evic-vtc-mini-60w-tc-vw

Here is a similar device at a similar price- https://vapenw.com/istick-60w-tc-temperature-control-by-eleaf

Either one of these websites should also sell chargers. I would personally look for a charger that has a digital display and 2 or 4 battery bays. I believe the Nitecore D-2 or D-4 can be found for around $5-7 more than the one on the Source website.

Thank you!! I know I can charge through the battery but I considered a spare battery, and for convenience the charger to go with it. It's not necessary.. now that I think about it I'll save the money! I don't even need the spare battery.

Do you guys recommend a 60 or 75w? Or is there a better option in this price range?

Other kits not in stock is due to high demand.

SV comes through with a replacement in record time.

I'm loving the removable quartz cup. Soak/clean it with alcohol every day or two. Always clean hits.

I feel the same way. My Orb4 with the removable Quartz cup SourceNail atomizer, on low voltage, gives me the low temp sipping I love, with even better airflow than my beloved Linx Hypnos Zero, Kandypens Elite, or my modified Puffco Plus.

I have been trying really hard to like this attachment, but I cannot get stable temps on the Quartz cup using temp control on my mod. My favorite attachment from Source is the Terra2 (ceramic with heated walls), but if I am going to use ceramic then I think I will just stick with Puffco+ since it is so convenient on the go. I haven't given up on the quartz cup yet, need to give it another shot soon.

You can use TC mode to get more stable temps, or pulse the button (hold for a few seconds, let go, press again; repeat).

If you like SOURCE terra 2, keep in mind it is nothing like the other one you mentioned, their atomizer uses the same ceramic plate in our Quartz Plus. SOURCE terra 2 is a completely sealed atomizer, so all of your material is vaporized in the cup, and nothing is lost.
