So I want to get a glass rig for using my IQ. Something I can put water in etc....Do I need an adapter piece or will the IQ's 10mm adapter that comes with it fit most rigs? I didnt see any other adapter pieces on DVs website other than the one to use with the honey piece. Thanks

Edit because Im uneducated - do all bubblers work with the IQ as long as you get an adapter piece?
Do all bubblers allow you to do dabs as well or do they need to be dab specific. Looking at this model but am not sure thanks https://www.smoketower.ca/store/Bub...er-with-honeycomb-and-cyclone-disc-rig-8.html Here is the adapter https://www.namastevaporizers.com/c...aporizers/products/davinci-iq-10-14mm-adapter

the 10mm to 14mm adapter that davinci sells has been out of stock. This one should work but since I don't own it double check first https://delta3dstudios.com/nearly-universal-vape-to-waterpipe-adapter-medium/

Hi IQ’sters

ordered one 5 days ago… haven’t got any response until now… at least an approx. shipping date would be nice. Da Vinci could learn a lot from the Firefly’s about CS…

Has anybody used the IQ with glass pebbles in the chamber? This technique worked awesome with the Ascent.

Name calling and insults are not tolerated here. Warning point issued.
Wow, how nicely judgemental of other experienced vaporists who you don't even know (with your six posts) and who have a very different opinion on the FF2 than you.
Different then me is fine by me. U sound like someone who thinks there very entitled because what you're a long time member/protector of the threads U care about? Because U have chimed in a zillion more posts? U earned some kind of golden star achievement right over someone with less time on here? Only in your mind & those with your outlook perhaps. Hey truth hurts sometimes and it takes all types of people & options. Good bad and ugly when needed. What I spoke on happens all the time and everyday on websites like this threads like this etc...It's reality not shit talking nor painting with a wide brush silly man. I respect the many bright helpful technical friendly minds on here but being a ass kisser isn't my style. U remind me of a guy who goes 2 his favorite local bar in town a few days a week. Everyone knows U and U might even be popular. But it's this attitude of this is my bar my turf my place my hangout not yours "stranger" entitled ass attitude. U don't like the new guy coming in "your place". Am I sitting in your favorite spot 2? Is your favorite waitress giving me the new guy some action? Hey man please learn 2 deal with this because it's a real ugly world out there so this is truly mere dust in the wind....

Modnote: As was previously mentioned, this is not only rule-breaking, but also off topic. Further OT posts are subject to removal.

So with all the battery debates going on was curious if anyone was looking at the specs as far as "continuous discharge". Most of the batteries we have been discussing have been falling into the 10-15 amp range found one put out by Efest that boasts a 20 amp continuous discharge. Maybe a more knowledgeable user could chime in.

Hey Microman so what I have read is that those numbers on the Efest/rewrap batteries are really exaggerated for sales purposes. They use questionable terminology to make these claims such as "Max Pulse". You cannot have the best of both worlds in battery land. You sacrafice usable charge space for amperage draw and vice versa. That's the whole give and take and why you notice with a higher amp battery it is lower mah. With a midrange amp battery you have mid rage mah capacity. With lower amps like the stock battery you get more mah which is suppose to last longer. I forgot the article that I read but it was very informative. Just search like battery info for noobs or something. That's what I did. It explains it a lot better than I have haha.

In all these articles they all say the same thing, and that's to stick to manufacturer name brand only batteries like Sanyo, Samsung, Sony, LG. These companies make their own battery's and sell potentially sub par batteries to these other company's who just wrap them in their own label, inflate the rating, and increase the price.

Good to know, I just know I need some batteries, and one thing I do know is that I don't want Samsungs. Sorry with their phone/battery history, just don't thing they have what it takes. I'm going to do a little more research. So Paka-cholo, you also think the reviews on IMR are false also? I know sites do fake reviews, all over that. I've looked at some of the reviews and they are pretty specific not the usual fake review stuff that you would normally see on fake reviews. Example:

"These 18650 3000mAh batteries work very well in by mechanical mod (SMPL) I had used the 2100 mAh with very good results... these 3000mAh hit harder... As with any battery its best to cover them with any of IMR's heat shrink covers..."

Think I'm going to give them a try.
Also can't help but think no matter what there's still a problem with my unit. No matter what battery I have in the unit it does not power down correctly. No animation of arrows, or battery indicator, just shuts right off.
Also I have a few of the Samsung's. Below is a video of one of my fully charged Samsung, in the barrel now. I have 2 of them 1 left. So I will not be using Samsung. This is a fully charged battery less than a year old. @Davinci_vaporizer it's time for some specs from Davinci real specs. So we can purchase the right kind of batteries instead of all us guessing what we should be using.

I watched your video, and yeah the unit just shuts off. That is so strange man. I think I read on an earlier post that you already did a reset on it right?

I think the reviews are real but it's always a possibility some are fake. My experience with IMR was great. They gave me cases for all my batteries even though I only ordered one of each brand. It says if you order two or more you get a free case but they threw them in anyway. Plus a few extra wraps and two cool stickers. My order was like 100$ though because I got a charger too. Those are mech mods though so I'm sure the performance is a bit more noticeable than the type of vape we're using. Those guys mess with ohms and other things I know nothing about.

Paka-cholo, yes on the reset. One other thing I just noticed today. I usually only do 21/2 3 minute sessions, got some new stock today wanted to do a full chamber, unit shutdown on me midway, no vibration, nothing. So I'm going to nail down the exact specifics before calling Davinci and just do my 5th RMA @Davinci_vaporizer .
So before everyone gets on my case about my battery selection, after further investigation. "I HEREBY CONCEDE" Totally wrong, going to get these things in the mail and there going to be re-wraps. Can't wait to unwrap these suckers to see what I purchased.
This was the post that did me in:

Yeah that article tells it like it is. Be careful with those unwrapped batteries though brother. They can short very easily and can be very dangerous exposed/unwrapped. Enjoy your tests.

Guys it's going to be like Xmass, right when I get them I'm going to UNWRAP them I'll shoot a pic and let you know what piece of crap I ended up buying. After all I gave you guys so much bullshit about it I got to give you a good laugh back right? It's the only right thing to do.
So guess what I found today on Davinci's site. Don't know if I've just been missing it in all the posts or if they just posted it lately but here it is:

So after reading this how many of us are using the wrong battery?

I recently purchased a pair of Samsung 30Q's 3000mAH 15amps, I have gotten 3 10min sessions per charge and the unit maintains warm but not hot to the touch.

The only thing that spec doesn't state is the Amps, now I know that by looking at my most recent IQ, that by the way just went to the Post Office today, is 10 Amps. And that is the original battery that came with the unit. So this is going to be my 5th IQ, do I get a prize? Has anyone of this board reached the magic 5 number? Maybe I should defect to the Grasshopper guys, and see how they are doing.

I'm still on my first IQ, first set of batteries and happy as a lark. Nobody has commented on my battery posts but they are, in fact, 3500 mAh 10 amps.

I will soon be at #4 , but this will be the first unit that my technique didn't break. I killed the first three IQs by using glass shards in my mix that got packed through the oven wall (. Per DaVinci autopsy) This IQ has energy management issues requiring frequent battery swaps leading to a hyper depressed positive battery terminal, and a difficult to use sealing latch. I have successfully inserted a tool to reshape the positive brass terminal per @Davinci_vaporizer , but that fix is failing again and the energy management problems are a pain. I just hate not having my IQ again during an RMA. On the bright side, CS is hitting on all eight! I'll stick with the IQ for now, I'm still in love with it.

I feel you man, I shipped mine back the 3rd of April and still waiting patiently, hopefully I'll have it in my hands before or on the 20th :D

Dude that looks sweet. Am I blind I was looking around for the specs on it could find it as far what it would fit?

Yeah that's the problem no specs since it's meant to fit e cigs or whatever. It really looks like it's about the diameter of a female 10mm which would fit perfect who knows though. If a further extension to put the two together would be needed it would be way less cool and practical. How do we know if it will fit though!
