Underdog Log Vapes

I also had to join in and message the author of Vapesterdam.

that is by far the worst review i have ever seen. how do you call yourself a 'vaping aficionado' and not even have a basic understanding of log vapes? that like lying on your resume, actually getting the job, and thinking 'oh fuck, now what do i do?' :hmm: pisses me off that their review is a horrible representation of one of the best vaporizers on the market right now.

the one thing they were able to get across with that review article was effectively show exactly how ignorant they are. nice job vapesterdam.

I've joined in on the vapesterdam harassment. But I'm bored and don't feel like being a productive member of society today, so instead of offering constructive criticism or correcting the atrocious use of misinformation, I've opted to troll him instead :brow:

Im kind of interested to see if he'll try to respond with any "useful tips." Here's what I commented:

I think my underdog is faulty. I’ve left mine plugged in to charge since I got it in October, but every time I unplug it, it dies! WTF?! How can you tell when the underdog needs new batteries? Did I ruin them by leaving it plugged in for so long? I thought vapes had overcharge protection nowadays? Worst portable ever! It’s too big for any of my pockets and the battery life is even worse than grasshoppers. Thanks for the educational review! If only I had seen it sooner!

Lol!

That's hilarious! That said if your comments get gobbled up by some SEO spider and start coming up in web searches such that people take them seriously instead of their real tongue-in-cheek nature I might just drive to your house and poke you with a stick. :lmao:

Hahaha fair enough. If that stick is one of those fancy twigs you make then I'm not complaining

But considering you have my address on record, I'll play nice from now on ;)

This is me begging for forgiveness

I might poke you with a stick but I won't be too mean about it. I'll make it a long peace-pipe like UD, poke you with it and then leave it with you so it won't be all bad. ;)

Well, the bad news is it looks like my extension cord gave out...

How old is it?

...Hopefully, I can resist the temptation to buy another dog...

Dude. No. That kind of behavior isn't going to pay for these matching jetskis Underdogette and I have our eyes on. Sheesh.

One of my 15v power supplies killed itself the other day, so I feel your pain.

One of the prongs got stuck in the outlet when I pulled it out

Whoa, lame! One of the ones we provided? If so let UD'ette know so we can replace it and maybe not buy those ones anymore. Unless you pulled it out of the wall like you were trying to start a lawn mower or something lol?

Haha yea I saw that. That's some crazy luck you have

How old is it?

Pretty sure I got the dog in late October, so going on 6 months probably. These things happen. I figure if I pick up a multi-channel I'll have some backups so I'll be prepared next time it happens.

Haha I mean I still have my eye on that Coco, but it ain't paying for no jetskis

I actually think this crummy multi-outlet thing I bought is at fault lol. Seems to grip things pretty tightly. I'm usually nice and careful. It was a KW-1520, definitely got it with one of my dogs, but I have a backup so no worries for now.

I'm trying not to temp myself as well. That usually doesn't end well.

Or I guess it does dependng on your perspective.

edit: oh wow that coco is still there... I may have to get it and spare you @FreddieFresh :p

Woot! Got my 3 port vvps the other day and finally got a chance to use it. Works as advertised. Thanks so much @underdog and @underdogette ! I know you know how I feel. Haha.:rockon::love::science:

Now I just need a candelabra adapter so I can hit all three at once! :science:

PS...Couldn't resist.....Three Dog Night.......groan.......

I owe a huge debt of gratitude to whoever the kind person is that has generously offered to donate money towards my purchase of a vvps. This wonderful gesture was unexpected and undeserved to say the least! :science:

This thread, and the amazing people that participate in it, is/are an immaculate representation of the helpful atmosphere and selflessly giving nature of the FC community that attracted me and so many others here in the first place. It's always inspiring to see posts sharing these kinds of stories and experiences, but to actually be the recipient of such generosity... well I'm dumbfounded :whoa:

I can't thank you enough, but since you've chosen to remain anonymous, I'll thank you here, for you and everyone to see

I haven't the foggiest notion of who you might be. I'd like to so I could return the favor, but if I can't than perhaps I can make a donation to Vito to restore my karmic balance

I had to search back for this post. I remembered it from when I first got my madrone chalice. This is exactly what I'm referring to when I talk about being inspired by the kind spirit of this thread:

Wow... Thanks to the incredible generosity of an anonymous person who donated money towards my Underdog, not only did I not need to buy a used one or a Lost dog to fit my price range, but I was able to get one made out of some of the most beautiful wood I've ever seen.

As soon as it arrives, rest assured I'll be sharing pictures.

Once again, to whoever donated the money, thank you so much.

Like I said, I have no clue who you may be, but I get the feeling you may have done this before. I could be wrong about that, but you're still an awesome individual either way

Somebody has offered the same to me, @FreddieFresh ! I still find this hard to believe! I have no idea who the person or people are, but it really means a lot to me. I've been going through some tough times at work lately where I'm not always being treated very nice by adults...it's been a hard hard week and then it ends by an anonymous person giving me something that they know I desire. It makes me feel a little like a kid again.

I was crying the other day writing in an angry thread and now I'm a little teary eyed writing in what is always a happy thread. The community here is real, yo. I need to give back to the community. Peace and love, dog pack.

hey all.

I've been using the UD with 0.025 of herb lately and i'm loving it. But I would like to be able to cool the vapor a bit before it enters my lungs (I am at a higher risk of developing lung cancer, so I am trying to do everything possible to minimize the risks), so I want to get a bong or bubbler to use with my underdog to cool the vapor down (otherwise I will have to go back to my volcano, but I really like using the underdog more).

but I don't know jack about bongs or bubblers (never even seen one in person), and looking at all of them are pretty confusing on which one to get. but i think I found the right one to get, but just to confirm (so I don't buy it and turns out I can't use it), would this bong be right to use with the underdog (I have a 18mm tapered NoG stem):

if not, can someone who uses a underdog with bong/bubbler link me to the one they use?
so confusing
thanks

You can use either of these pieces mate. The first one speaks to me because of the angle of mouthpiece and ud will go right on top how I like it. Just mage sure you get 18mm nong and/or gong to go with it. (Nylon on glass or glass on glass) I recommend getting both because the both behave differently.

But yeah, I use my water piece dry with the UD all the time. I'm about to morning toke that very way right now. If using water, you don't want a lot of water filtration in many opinions because it will strip flavor some.
My bubbler is very much like the first you linked in style, while the second one is more of a small bong in style. My bubbler has a simple down stem with a few holes and it cools it just fine for me with no water. Vapor pools up in the body and it's easy to see because you're not looking down at the piece cause the mouth isn't on top.
My personal preference is small bubbler to go with the small underdog. :)

thank you man. I will buy the top one (it will probably the first of many, once I get the hang of things). thankfully I have an 18mm NonG stem, I didn't really know what I was doing when I ordered the stems lol but I'm glad I got one now. As for the water, yes I did read that it can even cause upto a 10% reduction from some terpens (or whatever they are called) get lost. I will try it out, hopefully just the act of the vapor spending some time in the glass will cool it down enough, but if not then I will just use a bit of water.

can't wait to finally try a bong out, the healthy way.

It sounds like you've got it figured out. The rest is the fun part.

P.s. I recommend trying out the oversized nong. Instead of going into the heat port, it goes over it, meaning a larger bowl. I like it more than the gong personally, though I haven't tried the new ones.

This is a really special community whose members watch out for each other and I like to think in a way that we're all family. There are a couple people who like to make donations like this and all they've ever asked over the years in return is to stay anonymous. It makes us happy and proud to be able to work with them and help make the world a better place once vapory cloud at a time. :):peace:

The top one seems better suited to log use to me. Lining up the core onto a NonG/GonG from above with that second one would be a challenge. The easiest pieces I've found to use are ones where the Underdog is sort of in front of you, and you can tip the core onto the stem and see it lining up without being too far to take your draw.

If you don't feel too goofy doing it, @purplegrass, it might be worth trying a bit of um, role play. Hold your Underdog upside down in front of you and think about where you'd like it to be that's easy for you to place on top of a stem, remove it and put it down, and remove the stem from the glass. Then look for a piece that puts the stem and the mouthpiece somewhere that works for you, and you're comfortable with the motions involved. That one in the top picture definitely seems like it'd offer a smooth experience.
