Errlectric Concentration Station

Almost there...
Will update later today with some pics of my new stuff!!
I was also left an awesome gift from the Canadian Errlectric Rep!!! Awesome guy and a good session!

Dry Herb Nail question time!

What are the temps everyone uses? I am at 740F and had to lower it to 710/720F due to extreme effects!
I found at lower temps the blue vapor to be very tasty and the flavor lasts forever!
Turning up the heat increases the density of the vapor and it forms a lot quicker but it seems to be too strong somehow? Never experienced this with any other vape and i am using herbs i have had for a while and know how they perform in my other vapes.
From the start of the session i was sweating bullets!! It was crazy!
And usually if i vape earlier, i never really feel that medicated when i return a few hours later.
With the herb nail it put me in another place!
I also tried a small dab while hitting flowers... WOW!!! very nice and smooth!!

Quartz Insert

This is an awesome addition to the Ti nail! Flavor profiles are much cleaner and smoother now and coughing and soreness at the back of my throat went away!
Any tips on cleaning the insert would be appreciated!

I can see with some more use and technique refining this can be an all in one desktop solution for me.
I also discovered that it is very WT sensitive to achieve the best results!
Smaller WT's tend to work better with the herb nail as IMO it is 100% convection with the herbs spinning all the time! ABV comes out green still but when i tried some in my Supreme 3, it only managed a small foul tasting cloud! Makes me think ABV color is not the ultimate indicator of when your herb is done.
Maybe some stuff left for edibles but no more vapor!

@lazylathe been waiting to hear how that sesh went. Good times I'm sure.
I run my herb nail between 740 & 820 depending on mood 820 is insane vapor now no waiting. 740 more casual vaping.
Herb/dab combo start at 680 hit herb till temp drops to 580 drop dab and cap. Wooooo big lung for that one.
Cleaning insert im no good for. I torched and tossed in water for a good while . worked great till one day it started crumbling apart. Ouch

Herb nail is one bad ass extractor.
When im dry ill use it to revape my abv.

Only vapes that are close in my arsenal sv3 , versa ,and maybe zion soon
And lets not forget the Odysey(utopia) not in arsenal yet.lol

Im on the fence get another insert or dive in and get the fqn

Enjoy bro I'm sure you will
Happy testing.

@biohacker yes it does do Celsius.

The Herb nail is an otherworldly beast! I find the best balance between flavor and vapor density somewhere around 720-750 depending on how dry the herb is. I also find that packing too much or too tight results in a loss of performance. It is best with a smaller load that is well ground and dry and has plenty of room to spin.
The VaporDab is totally next-level and not recommended for lightweights or noobs. As for cleaning the Quartz insert, I usually soak in ISO then I soak in PBW to remove all of the stubborn crusties.

820??? Holy cow that would melt my face off!! Def must try that!

@DieHard
Turned it up to 740 and milking my RooR tube again with ease!
While typing edits:
760 - Mmmm getting there!
800 - Now that looks better! Nose is starting to itch from terpenes! Flavor is not as good though.
820 - Love the instant thick vapor! taste is a bit off and again my nose is crazy itchy!
Thinking maybe 780 would be ideal! But the 820 vapor is oh so nice still!

EDIT: Actually settled at 840! iT'S AMAZING! sUPER THICK VAPOR THAT HITS LIKE A TRAIN!

@biohacker
It's all technique and a new learning experience! Totally different to any other vape i have tried.
I now have it on my RooR and it is awesome!
IMO the NV FlowerPot is not 100% convection, there is some conduction going on there.
Unless you can cap it and draw without heating up the bowl piece.
With the Herb Nail the bowl is only heated by the air when you are inhaling, there is also a bigger gap between the heater and the herbs.

To me the FP is more like a Sub and the Herb Nail is like a turbo charged Vrip!

I was left with an awesome gift from the Canadian Errlectric rep!
He blows some glass on the side and his specialty is skulls!
This is the one he gave to me! My very own heady q-tip holder!
That's not a crack in the front, it has some wicked spiderweb fuming!

840 is where the party is at!!! Put me in a coma and slept like the dead!
My usage has been all over the place lately but for the past week i have managed to get my daily consumption to around 0,5g per night.
Just weighed last nights material and it is 0,24g!!!!
Only used the herb Nail and i was obliterated!

I also had my S3 out but it never made it to the showdown...
Just to make sure...LOL!!

Strictly dabs! He did try a hit of GSC and commented that it tasted awesome!

I am loving this device!! Fast warm up, anything from pure flavor to massive clouds, with or without dabs!

Saturday is my do what i want day!
So today with the Errlectric Herb nail i present to you:
A pinch of Jack The Ripper with the added boost of some Sunset Sherbert Cake Batter!
Awesome flavor!!
Note the lack of vapor due to low temp dabbing, all you get is flavor!
As soon as i cap it, it gets crazy and the herb vapes really quickly with the concentrate.

And the ABV

Wow jealous... the electric wasn't really on my "To buy list" but I have only heard great reviews about them..

@lazylathe would you say that the errlectric dry herb nail hits as hard as the sublimator? I'm kinda getting tired of this 30 minute heat up time :p

That is a tough question to answer in all truth!
Also remember that i have an OLD Sub!! It is the version with the timer box and dial...

The Sub is tough to beat if you like those super massive, no flavor, kick you in the nuts type hits.
Of course you can always lower the temps but i find it loses something and is not as effective.
At lower temps the flavor is pretty good if you keep the atomizer cool and use the head as a convection heater. Once everything is up to temp, its' all or nothing i find.
Works very well with just a pinch of herb.
New Subs with better control may be different?

The Errlectric keeps it's flavor for almost the whole session, quite amazing!
I love the digital aspect, it gives me consistent sessions so easily.
At lower temps the flavor just keeps coming with nice light clouds.
Turn it up and now you have a Sub style, convection vape. The glass bowl does get hot but i can still hold it after a few hits to empty it.
I like that you can cap the bowl at low temps for faster extraction with great flavor.
I also love the fact that the heater is removed after every hit which allows the glass to cool down quickly.
And of course the +-3 minute heat up time is amazing!!!

I also saw you in the NewVape thread:

My only concern would be is the NewVape FlowerPot on the same playing field?
A LOT cheaper to buy for a similar setup.

I would love to test them side by side to see just how much conduction is involved with the taste of the FP, since the bowl would also heat up with the contact from the heater. Also the herb is very close to the heater, so a lot of radiant heat from the heater to also take into account. They are similar but very different IMO and a test is imminent!

Anyone in the GTA with a Flowerpot setup? We could do some serious testing!

Decided to start Easter off with a BANG!
Ti nail with Quartz insert and a few dabs of home grown, home pressed Great White Shark Rosin!
Feeling great and the taste was out of this world!!

Tried to do a melt video but hand held and after the 2nd dab...LOL!
Going to have to get a stand or rig something up! Missed the exhale...LMAO!

So after a few weeks of testing i am pretty sure about a few things!

1- I love the quartz insert for the Ti nail! Tastes amazing!
2 - Concentrates are for Saturday use only...
3 - I am not friends with the Herb Nail at all... if anyone has tips for me, please share!

I am running at 800 to 820F to get sort of decent clouds.
At this temp the flavor is pretty bad compared to my other vapes.
If i run it lower at around 650, the flavor is awesome but it takes way too long to finish a bowl and you end up ramping the temp to achieve this. Seems counter productive to me.

Awesome concentrate vape but i feel the herb nail lacks the punch it needs and the ability to keep the flavor at higher temps.
My grasshopper tastes 100% better at temp 5 and gives massive clouds.

What am i doing wrong?

Really sorry to hear that.
My flavor good cloud temp is 740.
If you load to much herb it will fly up and hit the titanium. And reduce flavor.
A clean screen is crucial..
Good luck hope you figure it out.
I mostly use my errlectric for my enail I usually only break out the herb nail when someone's over and wantbto do dabs and herb same time.

Edit i should replace my quartz insert till i can splurge on the fqn.
I miss it.

I geniuwly hope you figure it out and concur with MP about the 720-740 temp sweet spot. That being said if you ever consider moving through herb nail for whatever reason...hit me up.

580f low temp dabs to start the day off with the quartz insert!
Started with some amazing Great White Shark rosin that i pressed and ended off with a bit of RockStar shatter.

The flavor is out of this world!

Hello all. First post.
Looking at getting a Errletric set up and going with the mobile-Enail unit. Anyone got any reviews or experience with that unit?
Thanks in advance for any info or feedback. Close to pulling trigger.
