Mobius Glass

I have had the "Recurve Incycler" for about a month now (basically just a rename of the Canteen). I purchased from JFriendly, and I really like it. It does exactly what I wanted it to do, which is keep the vapor cool. The recycling action works pretty good too.

Just after a fresh cleaning in PBW (love this stuff)....

I keep the water level high, but after experimenting quite a bit, I feel this is the ideal level. Overall very happy with it, although I don't have much to compare it too.

Now if my Liger would ever arrive.... :)
Thank You SO MUCH!! I just bought one of these this morning! I come in here to Brag and see a notification that says " @Rabbi replied to Mobius thread" click the link and BAMMM!!! Finally a crystal clear image of my newest addition!! I won't get mine till Mon,Tues. Is there any chance we can get a vid? I can only find a slow motion one online. VERY BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Behold!

Its funny, since almost no airbubbles make it through the curvy drain area while in use, it is really hard to visualize the water flow. The first week I was still trying to convince myself that it was actually recycling, so I added glitter to the water. Short story it works. Long story, there is no way I'm adding glitter to the water again to shoot another video so don't ask :)

Are You Kidding??? I Can Clearly see the Cyclone spinning while you're pulling!! So it's draining and recycling thats awesome function! Funny thing is it sounds more chuggy than I'd have guessed! I love it!
Lol, are you sure you don't want to do another glitter run?? That's a video i don't think FC has seen. Gotta be mighty purdy!!

It's very "chuggy" sounding. When I'm actually taking a hit and the airflow is more restricted, the sound makes me think about a hovering helicopter. Still, the draw feels very light to me, even with all that water. But, like I said...not much to compare it too.

Obviously, with all that water there is kind of a sweet spot with the amount of pressure I use on the intake and on clearing it. You can certainly get a mouth full of water quite easily, which I have done more than a few times. But after a month, I don't even think about it anymore, its all automatic.

Your just going to have to experiment and see where you like the water level. I will say there is definitely a minimum water level. Those videos you see of people sucking air into the recycler drain have the water level too low.

As far as the glitter goes...still finding that crap everywhere. Never again! :D

@Cannabis Connoisseur I definitely want to hear what you think once you have had some time with it. Be nice to hear how it compares to some of the other pieces you have.

I would fucking love some glitter water tests.

I have no reason to be on this thread. Can't afford Möbius, have too much glass (GAS), have 100+ pg feature film script to read for work...but I also am caught up on every thread on this god-forsaken website, so here I am.

That recycler is gorgeous!!!

Really, really impressed by the work Möbius has been putting out. To separate yourself in the American prodo market you have to put out perfectly consistent and occasionally innovative work. Möbius is really doing that and I love that they have a very clear aesthetic that they adhere to closely. I'm not a fan of 75% of heady glass out there (I hate sculpture pieces, and pop culture pieces, and over the top psyxhedelic stuff), so I'm usually okay with my China stuff...but I literally lick my lips at the sight of Möbius!!! They've grown leaps and bounds since all they made was matrix perc bubblers.

Just a portable unit until my enail finally arrives. Source nail atomizer is what its called. Not ideal, but it gets the job done.

I did order a Liger about a month ago, but there have been some issues with that. Something is in the mail though, not sure what exactly. Hopefully it will all sort itself out soon. Upgrades are long overdue :)

I only ask because of different vapes different levels of restrictions. I'm using a Liger 30mm Sapphire with Chad B. Terp Trunk. Also the VB2, & EVO

I don't think the restriction differences will affect you too much (besides possibly getting your mouth wet a couple times when you clear in the beginning). If you had the water level too low, I guess it could make it harder to recycle it with alot of restriction. But, you really can only go so low though with the water, because you have to account for the displacement when in use. The water level will drop in the outer chamber and rise in the inner recycling chamber (pretty easy to see in the video). Minimum level is probably at-least 1" above the perc.

Ready for my new setup to be completed. This will be my first desktop type setup. I already bought RDK-300 and coil, just waiting on the nail to arrive. I probably would have upgraded sooner, but the wife (who doesn't smoke and is tested regularly) asked me to keep it to the more discreet portables until I had somewhere to put all the stuff. Fun times are ahead :)

Glitter is the STD of the craft world. Still, it would be awesome to see lol
instead of glitter you could use a single drop of food coloring and slow motion video. Or you could fill the piece with mineral oil and and then use colored mineral oil in the down stem. Let me talk to my friend who makes videos and see if he has any recommendations.

I got my Mobius in on Monday. My first initial thoughts were WHAT THE FUCK???!!!! This was bought on by my previous Mobius piece coming from Aqualabtechnologies. ALT sent it in a well packaged box that looked clean and neat. I bought the Incurve Recycler from a place i found on Instagram called funkeymonkeygallery. First off the business end went smooth as can be. I contacted him asked him his bottom dollar. He told me i countered he accepted! Knocked off over 100 off sticker price!!!! Shipped it Friday I got it Monday! When the package arrived it was in a raggedy box about the size of a microwave. The box was literally half open like someone had been sitting on it and it collapsed under their weight leaving it partially opened. Once i opened the bigger box i expected to see a smaller box instead it was my Mobius bubble wrapped like a Chinese piece. This confused me because this store deals with Heady stuff so expensive it makes Mobius stuff look flatout cheap. I'm talking average $10,000 pieces. I thought I'd purchased a knockoff. Once i got it out i REALLY thought I'd been taken. Upon inspection i realized the piece was a stunning Mobius!! My wife swore it was a fake. We both were comparing to our Mobius Matrix Ion. I bought that piece in 2013 and its a flower rig. This is an oil rig and the glass game has changed. I quickly realized Mobius was conforming to the demand of smaller lighter portable rigs. I initially thought the Canteen, RDS, and Recurve were the same. I wanted the Canteen more than any other. I mainly wanted it because it said Canteen for Recycling on the Drain. Mine says Recurve Incycler. The Canteen is 9.5 inches tall mine is 8.
The RDS is a straight neck with "REMOVABLE DOWN STEM" it just has Mobius written on it. The function wise, i was confused. After seeing vids before i received my own i expected a chuggy pull. They are but aren't, it's hard to describe. Its chuggy but there isn't any real resistance to the pull. A major diffence i noticed with the Mobius and my other incycler style rigs was the Mobius only uses one hole in the water catch where others have used as many as 4. Another thing most recycler style rigs require high amounts of water to function properly. This will normally create an unavoidable amount of drag. The Mobius requires it be fairly full also but the magic lies in no added drag!!!! I waited so long to post my review because i needed to have time with this rig to get over my comparing it to my Matrix Ion. A oil rig vs a flower one are going to have some noticeable differences. Overall the aesthetics are 100% on par. The real voodo of this piece lies in its ability to use so much water with good diffusion and still maintain the flavor profiles it does. I don't like the perc being called a Matrix perc since its nowhere as intricate as the original matrix, and the pull and function are nothing like Ion matrix. Not bad just different. Another thing I noticed today was it has a very small pinch hole in the top of the funnel to help drain the piece when cleaning which is Awesome! Anyway typed on my phone sorry for typos

Nice Review! I'm kind of new to buying things like this, so this purchase was a bit of a gamble for me. While I think its great, I can't bring the same experience to the table when expressing my thoughts on it.

Still...If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up. :)

Nice. Mobius lists their authorized dealers on their website. That is where I go. But I mean, if it's a fake, it's DEFINITELY not chinese. Chinese are still very behind on designs. That's just how China is. There are very few industries where they are extremely up to date on their copying.

If it's an American clone.... I mean the quality is amazing.... so I wouldn't care =D. Great piece, I'm jealous. Makes me want to get a new mobius now.

Edit: No drag? Sounds like you're talking about that excellent mobius craftsmanship. I love how their pieces hit. It's so effortless.

Well i just checked, and they are on the list! As i stated before its just too flawless to be a knockoff. And the shop carries extremely top notch stuff. They just had a Mothership Drop party. Clear Honeybuckets were going for
$570+ tax!!! The Mobius has become my Daily Driver for Dabbing. I don't normally have daily drivers because I have so much glass after the first initial newness wears off after a day Or 2 I go back to rotating

I've never hit a real möbius but want one.... Can't decide on which bubbler is best for me. This would be For oils, looking for flavor chaser, minimal chug, minimal to medium diffusion, stable enough for an enail, least resistance possible.

Can you scan the IQ code on the hologram to get a unique identifier or something?
Mobius brought them out after their designs were being ripped, so I figure they are actually functional stickers?

I see no reason that it would be fake though, it looks immaculate and amazing. I would go as far as to say there is not a chance that it's a fake just from those lovely pics. (super nice collection happening there dude).
Perhaps if the guy you bought it from via Instagram deals with the stupidly expensive, this to him is just a quick bubble wrap & throw-in-box piece. I don't know, I can't really understand that logic aha
It could also be how he gets to the bottom-dollar price, saving the 30 for a pelican?

At the end of the day, it got to you unscathed and looks to be totally worth it!

For what its worth, I'll give you my own input:

Reading most of the thread, my interpretation of the thread favorite is the: Mobius Nuc. Some actual owners can hopefully chime in though and give you some first hand experience. From what I remember reading, it lines up with what you listed.

The big decision for me, was between the Recurve Incycler and the Atom. I went with the former because some members mentioned the Atom was a warmer vape, where I really desired a cooler one. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting on my complete setup to ship, so can't comment on stability with the Recurve Incycler.

@Cannabis Connoisseur How stable is the new Mobius with the Liger 30mm sitting on it?
