Discontinued Supreme Vaporizer

I don't know whether it already was a theme but what's about health hazard when inhaling air through heated aluminium. Could it be a problem?

The pure handle is looking very uncomfortably and not pretty nice. Did anybody try to make a wrap out of leather or paracord for it? I would do so if I would have a Sup 3 (VAS is growing!).
There are a lot of nice possibilities and the handle will afterwards lie much better in your hand. Look for 'paracord' and 'wrap' at youtube. Many nice designs. Make your own "Supreme Katana" ;)

Ask @Alexis :brow: But seriously, this has been :horse:in this thread. But AFAIK, it's a non-issue and not a health hazard whatsoever. At least I personally, have not noticed any negative effects whatsoever. I do have some very minor slight concerns about the aluminum dust i've seen at the silicone sleeve, as well as when I blow to clean the heat exchanger out. Doesn't really concern me though.

Spend some time browsing the thread bro, it's worth it...and it's not even that long. At least just go back a year....there are pictures of a custom handle made of "fury" material.... was it @Stu? I may be wrong... Looked dope, and super comfy.

I feel that the stock handle is actually awesome! I've had no issues with it whatsoever...super comfy, no complaints.

I just wish that Ed would make a proper WPA like @mestizo made. Even if in just one size. And all-in-one solution WPA/bowl....sick. I think he would sell tonnes, and could charge a nice premium.

Might be a good poll....but seriously, WHAT PERCENTAGE OF SUPREME OWNERS STRICTLY USE IT THROUGH WATER EXCLUSIVELY?

I'm guessing it's quite high, or at least the majority. I personally only use mine with glass...never have ever even hit it with the included silicone mouthpiece only.

i remember some discussions about heated Aluminium, dont want to open this :worms:myself... only mods for the Handle i have seen were just practical but not good looking, i think Paracord could be a good Option (and fits the Doomsday Vape Nimbus of the Supreme...)

A potential Alternative could be the Eliminator from Sublimator - nicer looking, save Materials but very expensive for what it is and without Temperature Measuring (https://verdampftnochmal.de/products/en/Eliminator-Flame-Powered)

I would really dig a new Supreme Version with a nicer Design, on the other Hand side a part of me likes the no nonsense Approach...

Edit: you were faster @biohacker :)

Indeed, I can proclaim to be the ONE AND ONLY person to date to report any adverse reaction to the Supreme's alumium materials! I suffered a VERY serious allergic reaction which is personal it would seem to me alone to this date.

But that is what my life has been like since 2005. To this day I cant even use any toothpaste. I have millions of allergies (or literally, at least hundreds of thousands, if you include every substance out there that can be allergenic.)

But despite my adverse reaction, I never once felt the need to suggest that the materials are unsafe, or even offgassing for the reaction to occur.

We debated it, but I dont believe offgassing or toxin/particle release has to occur for me to have an allergic reaction to the material, rather it was to the air heated by the material, it's "energetic state" that I believe I was likely reacting to.

No harm was done, just temporary symptoms.
Nobody else has ever reported any adverse reaction to the Supreme line, so @Hogni , i would not be too concerned. If you are cooking with non stick teflon pans, or eating refined vegetable oil or margarine of any sort, or have a white sugar habit etc etc, you may want to address those health destroying practices first.

All said, I cant make any guarantee that the aluminium is completely safe, I womt ever pretend to know something I do not for sure, but will always state my opinion and reasons.

@Gray Area , I am so pleased your new toy is going down well. Thanks a ton for coming my way and motivating me into action, and for being such an easy man to deal with.

I meant to tell you before you used it, no need to be at all daunted by the use of the vaporizer.

I was at first before I used it, but it really isnt at all awkward. Its very easy and fun. I would love to get up each day and look forward to repeating that ritual.

Sadly this thread will not be my home, but one final thanks to all you members who devoted time to assisting me with my Supreme purchase and initial use.

May the Supreme be with you!

I made a wrap out of stretchy medical tape. It may be ugly, but it is more comfortable for me to hold.

There simply is NOTHING like it..... I have no interest in anything else anymore.... selling all my Grasshopper's.... no interest in the Sublimator anymore.... the Supreme is simply on a completely other level!!!

VAS in remission. Thank you Inventor Ed!

I had been home around the holidays partaking with a couple of family members who are mostly dabbing these days. I brought the supreme but they said something like "i'm not really into flower lately, not strong enough". I fired up the Supreme and changed their mind fairly quick. Needless to say I don't think either needed a second round. :science:

Ya, later that evening I threw in some dab and pressed kief :ko: Massive clouds! They couldn't believe the effect it has.

I do almost always have my nano running, it works great for just running in the vape room for a quick hit. Ed needs to get us a plug in unit, then i'd having that plugged in all the time!

Yeah, a heating element out of Ti would be nice. But how much would that increase costs? Up to $ 250?

Aside of this I would always use the S 3 with a water tool for filtering out vapour by eventually existing alu dust..
I would definitely pay $250 or a bit more if Ed made an identical working product for me out of titanium!
I would be so excited to have the Supreme in a way I can tolerate it. You have just given me hope that one day, you never know!

Ti is catching on fast it seems, so in future demand and expectation will increase for it.

Lets all start putting the pressure on Ed now to get designing. No point in any delay!

I'd still much rather pressure him for an electric plug-in version! But he has enough on his plate, i'm just appreciative for the magic he presently creates.

was thinking of purchasing a supreme after @biohacker mentioned and praised it... but then I saw @Hogni concerns about aluminium... to be honest I even did not know aluminium is used for supreme..

I'm really sorry to hear this, but you will be missing out. Trust me, i'm a health freak but i've done enough research and real world testing, as well as know there are alot of helluva smart brains in this thread (there is a reason why a bunch of us worship this vape) to realize that safety is not an issue, unless it has to do with thermal burns from the heat exchanger! lol

I'd be more concerned about heavy metals or fertilizers in the plant than the Supreme.

Yeah bro, true words. I wouldnt use herbs/concentrates that I don't produce myself or is coming from a absolute reliable source. So much concerns about this and that everywhere but this important question is totally neglected. By the way the same as all the reclaim what is buliding up in your lungs. Look at your devices after some bowls and you get a little imagine of the stuff you are inhaling.

This is an excellent question!!! I wonder how/if it would change things...

The aluminum dust isn't inhaled...it's just from the friction of the bowl, and takes a while for it to accumulate enough for it to bother me enough to swab it with a q-tip. Non issue really...do I like it? No, but I tolerate it and don't think it affects my health negatively whatsoever.

I'm more concerned about the massive influx of phytocannabinoids (and whatever else hitched a ride chemically) to my brain disrupting homeostasis...... I have much larger fish to fry than the safety of my favourite vaporization device, when its safety is already IMO established.

Worth it! Or at least it would be nice to have the "option".

No more dust since I started using the glass tubes. Not a speck that I can see. Another benefit of using these.

I'm pretty much all Supreme now myself, I don't vape outside the house much. When I want a quicker hit that's not quite as good as Supreme but pretty close, I go to my Daisy. Triihouse and the Sticky Bricks are in my opinion the fastest big clouds on the market, but I haven't tried everything.

Been gone for a week , just caught up with this thread; WOW the Supreme community is small but very intense.
You folks rock , tell it like it is and offer killer advice. I'm proud to be a member.
Being an old Vapolution fanatic, I have glass up the ass, but it was my forum buddies that told me to put that grommet on that glass and the rest is history.
The vape sig. on the Supreme is without compare that's why I got ; to have the ultimate , current , benchmark vape.
I can't afford a Super car , but we all have a super vape.
Oh Titanium, I'd pay 500 easy!
Yeah my Daisy stays in rotation

Threw two bowls of my grasshopper ABV in the Supreme that was extracted at its max temp (210c), and fired up the Sup to 180c and holy white wall! Tasted like ABV ass but still shows the powerful extraction of the supreme! This thing can extract the shit out of your bud and produce REAL ABV!!!

You down with REAL ABV? Yeah you know me!
