Greetings,
We have been busy in the VapLab. The main focus had been actively working on trying to find ways to make our operation more efficient as we try to get ready for one of our favorite months. April..
And with this comes an attempt at more organization.
In the process I came across this relic.
This was one of the first jigs I made. It is a multifunction unit with different slidable modules that slide in the large blue groove.
This little rig cut many a cap in its day as well as grooving the original glass and then metal condensers. It has been on vacation since the arrival of the laser. Oh boy do we like lasers. The accuracy is a game changer.
There sure is a difference between the laser cut caps and the previous generation. I wonder if these early units will be collector items some day.
Like this one on this first generation Blackwood Ti Woody.
I wonder if this is the one injured in a truck accident?
On another note, I received an email from @Gardenerjeff about a survey, and he thought it was sad that the VapCap had only 2 votes. I sent Bud one of my original glass units way back before the indieNogo campaign. I wonder if he would like to try a newer version.

Also, Ben, our videographer took some videos with @Arielle.Dynavap. They are working on some short FAQ videos. I hope these will make it easier to understand how these Vaps work.
Oh and @VanCough we do hope to get engraved caps back on the site in April. And if all goes well, some Ti mouthpieces too.
I hope to have the first of these up soon.
All in all, a great week. Very much looking forward to next week as it is the weekend.
I can't wait to get back to work! I might just have to go in Saturday or Sunday, maybe both.

OK so I just finished leaving a VapCap vote on VC's site.
The thing that made me laugh was then seeing a sudden rush of VapCap related votes in the comments section.

I think we made a dint.
Well, whenever I get excited, my spell check substitutes Vapcap for Avocado.I'm wondering about this avocado vape @Squiby voted for over there..
I'm going to go back to clarify.... I hope he doesn't add an Avocado option to the list of vapes.
But if he did, I can testify that they are fantastic!

Morning all. I have a problem with my new OmniVap. The theory around the adjustable mouthpiece (as I understand it) is that by rotating it anti-clockwise the condenser is pushed further up the body towards the tip but mine doesnt seem to be firmly gripped inside the body. The result is that when I twist the mouthpiece the whole condenser unit rotates but doesn't move inwards. Worse, if I twist anti-clockwise and pull gently I am actually pulling the condenser out and further away from the tip. Does that make sense? Any tips would be much appreciated.
Try unscrewing the condenser just a bit before putting it in the body. I've found that once it's started it will work as intended.

Yeah, as @antispleen says, it's just stuck. Pull out your condenser/mouthpiece from the body. Unscrew it a bit, add some lubricant to the orings and put it back in.
It just needs to be broken in....

I've had this problem, but just to clarify, I'm pretty sure what @Squiby and @antispleen are saying is when you insert the condenser back into the body, make sure that it is slightly unscrewed as you insert it. If you insert it fully screwed closed, the thread tends to get stuck.
If that doesn't work, perhaps the inside diameter of your body is slightly too big...

I just set my Omni condenser to how I liked it and left it like that. Set it and forget it.

Yes, I was thinking this. I wonder if an extra o-ring next to the one already on the condenser would help (if it even fits)?
Yes, but that would mean a lot of disassembly and assembly between every session in order to determine my "favourite" position. Also, it defeats the whole concept of "adjustable mouthpiece"

I was having a bit of trouble with mine as well. It seems when I put it in there slightly unscrewed, and then try to adjust counter clockwise, I'm actually just unscrewing the mouthpiece from the condenser?
Also, did the mouthpiece change recently? I see pics of three o-rings, but mine only has two?
I can report my 14mm Nonavong does not fit in the dynastashER, which is kind of a bummer. I thought it would fit. Not a huge deal, as I got a Cocobola body too, which fits just fine.

Mine definitely loosened up with a bit of time. It was too tight to move on its own at first, I'd hafta preset then insert it. Over time it has loosened up and works perfectly. I can adjust airflow between puffs during a single heat session just by a slight twist of the mouthpiece.

What's engraved on the nonavong? Quite a collection of beautiful pieces. I love the squares, are they the same length? Depending on the photo the purple heart looks longerGreen envelope finally arrived today! Man I got some beautiful stuff this time. B&W ebony Nona with Ti spinning mouthpiece and engraved cap.
2 stems from @phattpiggie, Purpleheart and Lignum Vitae squares. The grain on both are unreal! Hard for my lacking skills to capture in picture but they're the kind of thing you just wanna hold and turn about in your hands even when you're not using them. got 2 Ti glassy, with engraved caps, so I can properly equip them.
Then I also recieved a stem from @Winegums in today; beautiful figured walnut with a steel core. Has such a nice weight to it! It feels very premium and it's super easy to add or remove the condenser for frequent outfit changers! But I guess that's not really necessary with a steel lining.. Anyway, Pics incoming!

The WoodScents vibes is killing me while waiting mine, and @NickDlow and @SSVUN~YAH, I kindly hate both of you for posting such impressive pictures!
Nick, this slab is a wonder, a real piece of art, Ed has done wonders. And your collection fit nicely with the various stems and VC... Impressive family for sure!
@SSVUN~YAH your Thuya looks gorgeous, the grain is deep and rich, the color is vibrant....

@nickdanger, that's some really nice pictures! You're the the lucky one with the blackwood and aluminum stem, you must be so happy and impressed by this little piece of fine work!
@Propulsio, that's a complete collection! Best of all worlds, art from our best makers phattpiggie and winegums, and all the best from Dynavap. All to be an happy camper!
And the caps have all an interesting "esoteric" feel, and are really nice! Beware of the devil man, don't spin your VC more than three turns
@Dynalowrider, on the picture subject, I think you already know that I love them and as @Winegums said, this is what's making the VC thread different. Although if data is an issue, along with all the solutions listed I would like to add one more: you can check the Opera browser, known to be good as hell to reduce data usage, compressing pages entirely (text and pictures) without much quality reduction. The only thing is that you must trust Opera because all the requests goes through their infrastructure before coming back to you.

@Winegums, this fret stem is really impressive, looks almost like my guitar, can we put strings in it and play music while taking a hit?
Your work is becoming more polished and complex, this sounds like a milestone in your path, future is bright and full of surprises!
Final note :I have received my parcel Thursday, that's quick as hell because usually that's two weeks for a delivery, but this one made it in 6 days.

And as always Matt has gone beyond all expectations, this order was more of a journey to be honest, I can't be more thankful.
