Aurora now releasing full Lab Testing Reports

I have been planning on switching from Aurora when my script is up for renewal as they started off with many high % THC strains, but for the past 4-6 months have been struggling. The past 2-3 months have been abysmal in terms of available high potency product or any product for that matter alone. They also have been promising oils and have the full license to do it, but have yet to bring those to fruition. Sounds like a parallel to the Liberals with just a path left of broken or unfulfilled promises.

Tweed is my other provider and they have been going through stock issues for the same amount of time as well, but much of this is because they discontinued almost all the strains they have been growing from day one in favour of newer genetics like DNA which come certified from DNA themselves that they followed their quality guidelines and grow conditions as well as drying and curing guidelines. These have all been pretty stellar strains, but sometimes a little expensive. Tweed has been tricky as you have to constantly moniter the site for new releases and buy them
Immediately or they would sell out. Things have improved dramatically with a pretty good amount of stock available and often when one batch sells out there is another already prepared and waiting to go. But there are still slim pickings at times so you still have to grab the good while you can. I think Tweed will get back to normal soon and have enough faith in them I will be renewing with them. I might try splitting with broken coast if they will take me as a patient assuming their registration is still open when I need to renew.

One more thing about Tweed is that they have been pretty good at sending out new strains/batch release notification emails so you don't have to constantly check the site every few hours hoping you don't release a super strain that will sell out in hours. I'll be honest about the second last email notice I received for their TWD Lot#2 which was for 30%
THC and it went out around 9am but and I checked my email around noon I was already 3 hours late and that batch was already gone and a new 29% batch replaced it of which I still happily ordered, but it just goes to show you how quick you have to be. Tweed has the largest amount of growing space, way more than any other producer, but they also have a ridiculous amount of customers and have never once close registration for relief as that likely wouldn't bode well with their shareholders.

Anyway, I came here to talk about Aurora posting full lab results for their products in detail via PDF format.

Here is an example of a current offering called THOR (actually Ghost Train Haze):

I assume you guys can see it or maybe you can only with an aurora patient login. Let me know if you can't see it and I will download then upload the PDFs for you guys to see. I am happy with the transparency they are offering. Though I am skeptical of some of the results for contaminants as they display the maximum allowable threshold in PPM for example, but they don't show the numbers, only a pass or fail. If it would be true transparency they should show those values as well. If something is allowed up to 10,000ppm and it passed, I want to know did it pass with 0-100ppm, 200-500ppm or was it 9,999ppm and just skimmed under the allowable limits?

I do like that they test for pesticides and even though it shows none detected, they provide a big list of what pesticides they are testing for which satisfies my need for exact information.

Also, aurora has had some questionably high THC% strains before, but lately nothing even close, but I wonder if they are diluting their genetics or is it simply a matter of more accurate testing being done now.

I would LOVE to see a report like that with MMJ bought in the USA. My state of Maryland is just getting ready to open dispensaries and my certification is lined up. While state law/regs require testing, nobody has seen what a conforming test report will look like.

That was a nice report you linked in. I would be very happy with something like this.

I just renewed my script with Aurora, Tweed and I'm trying out a new LP called Emblem. (https://emblemcannabis.com/).
I have yet to order from them but they have some nice strains. Dela Haze is one of my favorites.
I renewed with Aurora because I'm crossing my fingers they get back on the ball soon with some good strains. I was lucky enough to get some Warwick #2 (32% THC) when it was available and it was very good.
Medreleaf was good for a while too, but I wasn't impressed with their latest offerings (and prices) and found myself calling and inquiring when they would have strains available that they assured me they would stock all the time (Luminarium and Contenti, both were great strains and worked well for me).

I just ordered some THOR from Aurora, looking forward to trying it..

This kind of information is important especially in the wake of the pesticides that now a few LPs have been caught using, kudos to Aurora now just work on constant supply and oils!
