I read a lot.I have to say my log (nano) tastes just as pure as my Evo. The Evo can give bigger blasts of flavor since it holds more material than my log stems. So you could say it tastes better because the flavor is more intense, but as far as purity they're the same in my opinion.
The beautiful thing about this pale blue dot is that we all have our own opinions, nothing could be more civilized, in fact!

I'm traveling from SF to Vegas soon. Switched to the EVO a few months ago, and I don't really see myself going back to combustion (fuck that !). I also got a Crafty, so that should help out along the strip, but would like to take the evo with me as well.
From what I've seen, besides packing it safely and (obviously) cleaning it until it's all shiny, it looks all good, but is there anything I should be concerned or worried about regarding having it in my carry-on and going through TSA ?
I have a legit medical card, and will only have "gear" with me, no actual medecine (flying across states with cannabis seems like way too big of a risk, not to mention it would be pretty pointless between these 2 destinations).
Just want to know if someone already did that without trouble, I'd obviously rather avoid getting into trouble with TSA and have to let them handle my 500$ piece ...

Since Nevada accepts California medical cards, I can't imagine that anyone would hassle you for bringing a vaporizer across the state line. Thanks for your answers !! I'm also under the assumption that it should be OK, as while being Federal, CA and Nevada don't have any paraphernilia law (at least not that I'm aware of). I also know that SFO airport has stated multiple time that they don't really "care" about weed, especially with legal patients.
The main worry to me is not the "is this used for weed" aspect, but more the "is it accepted in my carry on bag" ? (aren't glass piece restricted somehow ? Like if you break it it would become sharp and dangerous ? I might be just over paranoid about this, but they'll handle you like a terrorist if you have a nail clipper with you, so, better safe than sorry ... ).

I'm pretty sure this one is next on my list to purchase! I'm wondering, if I already have a HT from Sunshine Store, should I still go for the package with a HT? I guess what I'm asking is if there's a huge quality difference? I'd love to say a few bucks and just get the dry mouthpiece, but it there's a big difference, I'd consider getting another HT. Thank you for any input!

Hey I recently bought the Evo and I'm really enjoying it. I was very close to buying the starter kit with dry mouthpiece, as I also have a dhgate hydratube (https://m.dhgate.com/product/high-quality-26cm-tall-glass-bong-mouthpiece/262624940.html).
Because I ordered it during the Holliday sale, the good folks at planet vape were able to convince me to go with the hydrabomb and I'm really glad I did. While I enjoy my dhgate piece, I really, really enjoy my hydrabomb and find it to be a more luxurious experience overall. I do find there to be a major increase in quality.
While you can always get factory seconds at a good price, especially during sales, it is my understanding that getting a package deal on a good sale is a pretty good deal, and you only get the one chance to take advantage of this.
One thing worth mentioning is that my dhgate hydratube doesnt fit properly on my Evo, and I need to use an adapter with it, but with the adapter it works great.

I guess I'm a dumb ass, i travel with all my vaporizers. EVO,Mighty, VB2, & DNAIL. I pack all of them in my luggage and drop it at baggage when i get to the airport and never think twice about it. I dont see the need to have them in my carry on since I'm not vaping on the plane. That's what i have edibles for! I've never had a problem!!

The Mason jar with lid I had been using didn't like my method of heating iso in a double boiler method & decided to break, leaving me a jar with no bottom. So I got a borosilicate beaker! Hot iso really does make a major difference in cleaning.

I would be to scared of it cracking to be honest . They do make a few devices that are meant for the freezer to cool vapor. Back when i combusted i used to put ice in my bong all the time and loved it. Allot of people on the forum say to try warm water as it conditions the vapor more.
I would be destroyed if it broke, I put it in for about 5 minutes with water in it. Some water droplets froze in the mouth piece shaft (what?) but that was it. It's def something I would try again.
