Discontinued Haze Merger

I use an induction burner in the kitchen. Induction heats rapidly; can boil H20 in under a minute and produces negligible surface temp. It transfers therstatically on a cook top. Great in theory, but the cooking element is constantly regulating. A bitch for cooking eggs or searing meat, but maybe not for other applications as the one's we're after. I'm sure Haze labs has multi-tiered innovations in store. Like bunnies, these guys.
IME, using a properly calibrated lab thermometer, induction cookers maintain stunningly even temps over time. I have observed a steady 176f (the temp set using the induction cooktop) at the base of the vessel being heated over long periods. IME, induction cooktops are incomparably better than conventional household cooking implements (ovens, other conductive stovetops etc) for holding the set temperature consistently.

I am very concerned that the haze guys seem to still be using silicone caps for their cannisters. This will definitely be a deal breaker for me, I refuse to have silicone in contact with the load/bowl at all. I'm not taking my chances breathing off of hot polymers and the silicone capped oil cans on the haze tasted of silicone to me from the first use. I abandoned them rapidly.

Can the haze guys please bring us a silicone free alternative like the V3 herb can, ie: an SS lid instead? I'd love to see this for the Square too, which seems to use silicone caps. I really want to use haze's newest product/s but I refuse to take chances with silicone on the bowl.

Perhaps it is just a bad stock of silicone you received... The material certainly works perfectly well and is highly regarded with the silicone flexicones found in the MiniVap.
Silicone swells with resin and any solvents used to clean it man - which over time cannot be fully removed with cleaning, I'll never use it in a vape. This is why no matter what you do with a whip vape, the whip needs to be discarded and replaced sooner than the more inert non-polymer materials used in other vapes which can be kept properly clean and in many cases, last forever if you don't physically break them.

This is my consistent experience with all high quality, platinum cured silicone products that I have ever used. Containers, mats, whips, SonG adapters, Haze v3 caps etc. I have access to autoclave/pressurized steam/ultrasonic cleaning and even these don't get the job done with silicone in this scenario. Silicone never gets completely clean after sustained use.

I was excited when hearing the heater would be induction, but will wait to see what success this has in vaping herb even and thoroughly. Any kind of container to contain the contents would also be getting heated and would seem to then add conduction heating into the mix once again. Whatever is used to contain the material in an induction system is going to be conducting temperature to material or drawing heat away from material. At least that is how I understand the method of induction heating operates.

Also, with induction, there is the polar cool down - just as quick as the heat up. Yeah @CL52613, conduction is back on the scene, but necessary for heat retention, I reckon.

As I've said above, the imagined dichotomy between induction and conduction is just that. Induction simply highlights that a ferrous material is being directly heated using eddy currents, rather than wires etc going to a traditional heater cartridge/coil etc. Depending on WHAT is inductively heated in the device, this induction heating could be used to produce a conductive, convective or even radiant heating effect on the load.

Induction does not necessarily give us any clues to whether the herb with conductively, radiantly or convectively be heated.

1. Does haze v3 regular or xl batteries work?

2. Will this work with haze v3 14/18mm water tool attachment ?

3. If no, will it have its own water tool attachment ?

Very interesting vape indeed. Two bowls can be vaped at the same time. Pretty cool. Not sure if I like the design of it. It appears big and clunky. For some reason I prefer the V3 over that or even the Square. I think I'll be sticking with my V3. Not willing to take the risk to trade it in and lose it to a device I may not enjoy. Also don't want to purchase one flat out either. V3 looks great. Love it. Easy to clean. Thing will last forever for me.

@Haze Vaporizers when will this be in stock and for sale again? I want to review and own one. It's been out of stock forever. Leading me to believe it's not been released yet.

-The batteries are not v3 versions. They will both work.

-From the photos it looks like the MP is the same size as the Haze. This leads me to believe the water attachments would work. I'm guessing Haze will try and utilize some of their already proprietary specs to save money and use on their other platforms. I'm not sure though.

- I'm positive Haze will release WT's for the device once it's been available for a bit.

Design is a little too weird for me like previously posted. Mind you so was the Haze V3 when I first saw it. We will know more about this unit once the Square is released. But I am itching for a new device and may be trading in my Haze V3 for one of the devices if justified.

im not big on the aesthetic sides of vapes. im more into functionality. 2 strains at the same time, yet vaped independently? it has distinctive nuance to it. it could look like a brick for all i care.

wow cool! two/both bowls vaping at the same time! this thing may be the cloud monster or lung buster! that takes the dual V3 functions to another level altogether

Oh yeah, I can imagine how by vaping two grams of material at once split into several bowls one could get huge clouds... The problem is, I'm already almost way too medicated with micro bowls in my current vapes, so I fail to see how I would benefit from even more clouds...

And my clouds are actually not bad at all already to say the least, so... I'm not the target audience for this vape it seems!

coming from combustion a person would do good to get those big clouds to help adjust to vaping...

I'm the same with micro dosing. I'm sure you'll be able to with this vape. Where's did you get the info that it's gram capacity? Also when one bowl is diminished on flavor, heat up the other one for better mix of terpenes and higher heated cannabinoids

If it's possible to set chambers at differents t° it might be nice to vape 1 bowl of flower+1 bowl of concentrates or 1 bowl of high THC strain+1 bowl of high CBD strain

I already own 2 vapes able to vape up than 1gr in one bowl and rarely (never?) used this ability.

More interested about the induction, not really about the dual bowls.

Which one will be the first out... Lotolabs Lux or Merger?
(I had big hopes with the Lux but not anymore considering the company practices, they even don't mention it's not yet avalaible in their website except if you go in the blog section)

yeah that would be awesome to vape a concentrate and herb bowl at the same time... the herb would deliver terps that the concentrate may not have and if you can adjust temp per bowl= WoW!

Different concentrates have far more terpines than herb alone. For instance full melts and crumble. Not to mention you can get just raw extracted terps and add them in for that extra flavor kick and high bloom. Remember the key word, concetrates. ;)
