So I finally got around to ordering my Cherry E-Nano a couple of nights ago, I had been dithering as I was unsure of what accesories to get however I decided in the end to keep it simple and I ordered the cherry nano with a fixed glass stem, I also got an extra adjustable stem so I could compare the two and see which I preferred and some extra basket screens too, I'll sort more accesories once I've played with the vape properly and really know what I need.

I do have just one question though, as I am UK based will the step down converter I have linked below be okay? It is a 230v-110v rather than the reccomended 220v-110v and it supports upto 100w which is in excess of the minimum 50w reccomendation. I'm 99% sure it will work but having never used one and not being able to source the suggested 220v-110v 50w+ I'm hoping this fits the bill :)

Hi everyone! I've had my E-nano for about three weeks and it is wonderful, just as expected. I've found lots of great info reading this thread.
But I'm not sure how many people turn up their heat settings to further vape the herb either during a session or later in the day, and how many just leave it at around 6 - 6.5 and change their draw to increase the extraction a bit. I stir and draw more slowly to finish a stem and vape it later with my Volcano or Air.

Hello 6 to 9. Because of supply interruptions I have been forced to revape ABV on occasion but I don't like it a lot. It does work however and adding a little fresh bud to the revape mix helps the taste just enough,,,,sometimes. The actual vaporizer power settings are something I try to keep constant on the Nano (rubber banding the heater control knob down) with fine temperature control coming from varying the draw rate. I usually use a short slightly restricted air path so I can keep track the load temp better and adjust the air flow as needed. I just noticed this is your first post, welcome to the camp and enjoy.

In my experience if you leave your ABV in the glass stem it does get everything dirty quicker. I personally take my lighter colored herb out of the stem for later use. It would depend if I was going back to my session in 10 or 15 min. In that case I would leave my ABV in my nano do to convienience. A clean stem gives you better vapor flavor.

I just cleaned out the inside of my nano. I turned it off and used some ISO on a q-tip. I do this every few months or so. Making sure I don't get ISO on the wood. Then after I turned the nano back on to high temp and used some beeswax on the wood. I let the wax soak into the warm wood. Other than clean the stems there really isn't much maintenance with this unit. No small parts to loose either.

Pretty simple and easy to use. Not much of a learning curve.

Where's everyone? Having some deep joint pain today. Having a hard time doing
What I need to do. Using some heat along with some Gorilla Glue in the nano.

If you're using the Nano with a glass bubbler, is it easy to pick it up off the desk / table and hit it, or is it more practical to have a set-up where you can lean in and hit it right off the table? Thinking about picking up an FC-UFO as my first waterpiece, for the maneuverability of the whip attachment...

Hey Carol, hope that Gorilla Glue fixed you right up! :)

Honestly, either is pretty simple, but I prefer not to lean into it for fear of knocking something over in a stoned state. I'm also not a big fan of leaving the nano perched on top of glass. It tends to be a little unstable IMO.

I usually pick up the glass with one hand, and the nano with the other, than drop it on. Pull it off when I set glass back on the table. I guess in a way this is sort of like a combuster uses a lighter, I just use nano instead.

If I'm kicking back with the UFO and whip, I like to use a carbed GonG. Finger from one hand on the carb and holding mouthpiece with other hand in my mouth (kind of like my avatar pic ;)).

Really nothing wrong with leaving nano on top other than instability. It doesn't seem to roast the load if up there for a couple minutes. I just prefer not to do it (more a psychological thing with me), and am usually lifting to clear the chamber of the glass anyway.

I leave the bubbler on the desk and use a 12" whip for convenience and ergonomics. It's nicer to move the mouthpiece instead of your head. The UFO is great.....especially for its stability. But, since I got the 10-arm hydrabase, that's the one that gets used. It's just easier to initiate the draw and clear from the smaller volume can. Also, having the sidecar inlet and the flexible whip allows one to see the vapor stream without it being obscured by the bubbles. It's easy to see when the vapor starts getting wispy on those third and fourth hits. I use a small led flashlight to backlight the inlet while drawing.
You can use a whip with most any bubbler with the right adapters.

We are glad to see @ataxian stopping by the thread again lately. We've been less civilized without you

I forget who gave me the advice on how to use organic cotton to swab out a gong that is all gunky with vape honey, but thank you.

I bought a bag of 80 organic cotton balls today. I used a half of one, so that's 79.5 balls to go before I have to buy another bag.

I took the screen out of the gong and set it on a warm nano for 5-10 minutes. I then rolled a small piece of cotton around the inside of the gong with a wooden skewer. The cotton sucks it right up. After working on 2 sticky gongs, I now have 3 little gunky cotton balls in a oil slick container just waiting to have their turn. Tonight I'm gonna drop one back in a gong and vape it at a 7 on the nano and see what happens. :science: I'll report back.

To think, all these years I've been pouring these extra hits down the drain.

Edit: Report- It works real good. :smug:

I received my E-Nano today, it took just 10 days after placing the order to reach the UK and although I am delighted with the vape thus far (wow, what efficiency!) my order actually arrived incomplete (missing an extra adjustable stem) which I am obviously disappointed about.

The package also had only partial address / shipping information listed on the box which is really bad considering I was sent 3 emails confirming full billing and shipping information, fortunately the package didn't go to one of the other two addresses that it could very easily have been confused with.

Having previously emailed the epicvape customer service team over 3 weeks ago with an inquiry and never receiving a response I am hoping that there is a helpful member of their CS team who reads this thread and maybe acknowledges me or my email, the honeycomb stem is great but I did pay for an extra adjustable stem which I haven't yet received.

The E-Nano is awesome though, I loaded it up 3 times in an hour before work and couldn't believe not only how efficient it was, but what lovely clean vapour came from it and also the pure clean high I felt. I already know that this is now my new daily driver and I am thoroughly delighted with it and that's using the glass stem many people seem to deem inferior.

My one gripe would be (and maybe UK users could help out) my step down converter, it works fine but the buzzing (which all converters I've looked at seem to emit) is so irritating, has anyone come across a silent step down converter?

Wow!! My experience with their CS has been wonderful and they were always very responsive. I got a GonG that just didn't fit right, quick response, instant shipment of a replacement. Easy Peasy.

The CS rep I have worked with in the past was Carisa but she was at the general CS email of: customerservice@epicvape.com

Let us know how this works out. By the by, I also have both the glass gauze and the adjustable bowl stems and prefer the adjustable bowl so make sure they send it to you!!

Cheers

Yeah that's the email I used earlier as it was the one used to send me order updates too, maybe my previous inquiry was just not important enough however they should (fingers crossed) respond to this as it is regarding an order.

With it being a UK delivery though sending a replacement stem is not as straightforward either, costs to epicvape shipping it out are I imagine quite expensive and then I probably incur costs too as I imagine I'll have to pay customs charges and royal mail handling fees again, all for a single overlooked stem that I actually really want!

I will want to get more extra stems too at some point as glass can break so easily but I ordered one of each so I could compare them before going on an accessories splurge later, depending on the CS team response I may just wing it and get extra stems now and maybe they can throw the missing stem in that package to save costs however I really want the Walnut stand when I do splurge and that is currently out of stock.

I'm sure they'll get it sorted somehow though, mistakes do happen :)

If you look at an adjustable bowl stem....its just a tube of glass with one end have a little bit of a lip (the mouth end, yeah?). I'm sure that there are glass blowers and vendors who can make/sell this item to you if getting it from the states is too difficult or expensive.

Cheers

It's not too difficult or expensive, more of an inconvenience and something I begrudge as the royal mail charge a £8/$10 handling fee on top of the 20% VAT and the reality is I have already paid both of those fees for an item that wasn't included.

I also tend to prefer official products so I'll stick with those unless a specialist makes glass specifically ala Ddave and his mods. Cheers for the suggestion though Baron, it may be something for me to look into in the future

Hello, forum, and thanks for the terrific reading material. Received my Nano on New Year’s Eve--a purchase largely inspired by browsing these messages--and have been greatly enjoying both its ease of use and almost ridiculous efficiency.

That said, I do have a question/concern regarding the connection between the power cord and the unit. Have been noticing that the power light will occasionally go dark (sometimes after handling, but not always) and it takes a bit of wiggling before the light comes back on and stays steady. Issue's still at the annoyance phase, but it'd be nice to resolve it.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I know from looking at pics online that the thicker part of the connector isn’t designed to fit flush with the unit, but I’ve got the cord attached as firmly as I can without overly forcing it. Time for a replacement cord? Do any DIY/Radio Shack enthusiasts out there have suggestions on an adapter between cord and unit?

Thanks!
