Hell, even if it doesn't have to do with vaporizing, let's get a taste...

Ok, but I'm a shotgunner and we LOVE very high end, highly figured wood. The custom 'best gun' shotgun industry demands and routinely uses some of the most prized crotch wood walnut

This is a customized project Winchester of mine. Wood from Cecil Fredi in Las Vegas shaped and finished by a custom stock maker in NC and fine checkered by a fella in MT. English Walnut with hand rubbed "in the wood" finish.

This is Turkish Walnut with a poly finish on a custom competition shotgun I had made for me:

Now this is not not one of my guns but reflects Italian and UK fine stock making at its best. These are also highly figured Walnut (either Turkish or Circassian walnut) with hand rubbed, in the wood, finish. They had a bit of ground Alkanet root added to the oil which brings out the wood's figuring and adds a bit of red tint to it. I believe that these are McKay Brown round body action shotguns but might be Purdy's. But they are a very fine example of fabulous wood worked by a master artisan on a best gun. Each of these guns is most likely well over $100K! Ok, no more shotgun stuff, this is a vape forum! LOL

Does anyone have a hickory log out there? My next (or next after next if the Haze Square is released) vape might have to be a hickory Underdog. They have one up now (sitting on hands, moving to Colorado, do not NEED another vape, my S.O. would flog me! Besides, might want custom shape. :D) but would love to see one that has aged a bit.

Searched thread for "hickory", only saw @Vitolo cane (lovely assortment!).

Tagging a couple known woodies (forgive if I missed anyone, on phone, hard to navigate) @underdog @underdogette @SSVUN~YAH
