The Herbalizer

@Lord Byron --- For the Flexicone pieces: Are you in US??
http://www.minivap.com/usa/accessories-replacements.html/
The bummer is that most come in a group of 4 or 3, and they are not cheap. But, they last a long time.
Flexicones and wire baskets are needed. Note: the Arizer EQ basket/screens fit the Flexicone and are much cheaper BUT they are not as sturdy/heavy duty.

Extreme Q Screen Pack
US$4.99

Includes: 2 rimmed dome screens and 2 flat screens. Made of high quality stainless steel.
...................................................................................................

Any screen can be used BUT the miniVAP rimmed screens work the best.
@Squiby gave the link for hemp fiber--a little goes a long way.
She uses the "twist into a tiny rope and then spiral into a disk" method.
I use the "gently stretch into a thin layer and then spiral--like a mini galaxy" method :)
I can make the "mini galaxy" hemp very very thin so it adds minimal airflow resistance, yet filters out
the micro ABV pieces. Experiment.

Any vaping buddies that can split an order with you?
Or PM @stickstones here on FC as he sells miniVAP and see if he can do lesser quantities.
I hope you try this as for me, it made my Herbie a much better vaping experience and almost eliminated having to ever clean Herbie.
Thank you so much for the clarification.

Silly question,

1. How do I know when exactly the Herbalizer hit to the temperature?

2. I heard there is an auto-shutoff fan when it detect the ballon is 100% filled, my Herbalizer won't turn the fan off. However, it seems like the ballon won't over filled. It just stop at a point..

3. Can I leave the Herbalizer unplug? (Lid closed)

Not silly at all. We all had to learn.

1. There is a status bar just above the temp readout that gets shorter and shorter as the herbie approaches the selected temp. The bar will disappear when it is at the set temp.

2. There is an auto-shutoff for the fan but it is only time dependent.

3. Yes you can. Mine lives unplugged in a closet.

Southern Chef,
I gotta said, I am blown away of the Herbalizer!

Build quality

Overall solid, it has enough weight to make you feel solid and enough weight to not feel heavy. The back as shown in the picture, perhaps not the best molding. I mean, as long as it's solid. I am fine with the overall build quality and love the design. Honestly, compare to volcano, I rather have a Herbalizer sitting in my room than having a volcano sitting there.

Vapor quality
With the bag, it's the best vapor I ever have in my entire life. This is the best vapor that I am looking for, it feels nothing like this before. My mighty have 0 chance competing with the Herbalizer performance.

Cooling fan
It's annoying like Bud said. I guess, I just close the lid when I am not using it. Since it heat up just a second, I can turn it on and use it, whenever I want.

Bag
I like the bag so far. I used volcano's bag and if you ask me what are the differences. I would said Herbalizer' bag is more perhaps "smooth"( the overall using experience, not talking about vapor just the bag itself)? And volcano's bag is more like a robust machine solid and solid feeling. Using herbalizer's bag is more like holding a glass of wine that is fragile and delicate.

Overall, I love it!

So with double pad you never have a leak? With essential oil or e juice, what do you think?
If you have some cotton or degummed hemp fibre I would use that. very sparingly on the E juice and NO essential oils as they can be poisonous when inhaled in large quantities. In weed it's such a small amount you're just getting a taste of the terpenes. Terpenes like Limonene and Pinene are used as industrial cleaners when they are high in concentration. Pine-sol ring a bell? Yeah you don't want to be vaping on that do you?

NO Essential Oils unless they're diluted properly by someone who knows what they're doing.

I love my Herbalizer, had it going on 2 years now. Always used it with flower, will never return to smoking cannabis again. I was recently in a car wreck and currently undergoing major PT. Dabs were recommended to me for more intense medicating, for pain and for sleep. My dispensary carries all kinds of concentrates, I picked up some shatter, a bit of hash, and some delicious smelling live resin sugar wax. They recommended getting a titanium nail and torch, etc. Don't want to go that route unless that is the only way to get intense effect from these products, then I will run them through a percolating rig or ??

My question to all of you seasoned concentrate users who use them with your Herbie. Does the Herbie get hot enough for these various concentrates? I always vape on 450F, high tolerance. I barely feel it anymore with flower, no matter how top shelf it is. I still do flower as it helps, edibles as well.

I tried a bit of the live resin last night on one concentrate pad. I use balloons, BTW. Balloon did fill up twice with decent looking vapor (at 450F), yet I felt nothing. Zip, zero, nada. Put a bit of flower on top of the concentrate, didn't help. I also tried grinding up some of the hash and mixing it with the flower, again at 450F. Nothing different. Same with the shatter.

What am I doing wrong? Do concentrates give a more intense high if they are vaporized at a temperature higher than Herbie goes? Or- do they require a lower temperature to preserve the THC?

I want to try the live resin again today. I have a 1/2 gram of Loudpacks extracts Grape God Kosher Kush live resin sugar. How would you hit this to get maximum effect?

Thank you so much, I appreciate all your answers and I love this site!

I think you've reached the point of diminishing returns and you're not going to get much higher unless you can some how lower your tolerance. Also it's worth mentioning that Live Resin might not have the same sleepy, heavy, body effects that you're looking for. Older more well matured concentrates and hashes will lean towards a body high than a cerebral high.

Thank you Winegums. I have tried to lower my tolerance by vaping less, even went without for 3 months. Returned to it and didn't see much difference. How do you lower your tolerance?

What do you mean by a more well matured concentrate? I am new to concentrates (except for kief), what should I ask for at the dispensary? They have all sorts of different concentrates, so many in fact, it is mind boggling, to me.

Thanks so much again! On concentrates, what temperatures do you all use with the different types out there? Hot as possible, or do they do better on lower settings? I am so confused!

Thank you everyone :)

I do concentrates at 445 F with the fan to try and get it vapourized as quickly as possible.

Maybe an oil rig is what you need, they hit VERY hard and even a seasoned user will feel it.

Herbalizer has a new addition, their own branded bubbler. It seems a little pricey, but it's only money :)

HERBALIZER SHERLOCK BUBBLER

No reviews

$ 249.95

This beautiful, hand-blown glass side bubbler attaches to the whip and comes embellished with the Herbalizer logo, a classy Sherlock spout and removable downstem and downstem adapter. A perfect way to cool your vapor or even add a little flavor by spiking the water with Terpenes; this just ups the ante and provides yet another way to Herbalize.

A quick note on supply, the Herbalizer Sherlock Bubbler is a custom limited edition accessory. This is our first run and we only have about 45 units to sell. More will be on the way but if you have your heart set on one, we recommend you act fast as we do expect this batch to sell out. It takes time to be this beautiful :)

No lie I want one but I have issues ordering thing without at least a 20% discount lol. Does that new whip fit in the Herbalizer like the original one? It looks like it does not. Also is it wider? Bc the original one is a bit narrow

The new premium whip is supposed to attach more securely to the Herbie bowl. I never liked how the orig whip attached but it was no big deal cuz now I never use it.

HERBALIZER PREMIUM WHIP

$ 29.95

Made of the same high-quality materials as our original 3 Ft Whip System, with just a little twist; a 90-degree twist, in fact. Our new Premium Whip System has an elbow piece that attaches to the bowl to prevent those annoying kinks and keep your whip firmly in place. Not to mention it's pretty swell with the bubbler.

The Premium Whip includes the elbow bowl coupling, 3ft silicone tubing and mouthpiece.
