Boundless CF / CFX / CF-Hybrid

What ever happened to the "FILLING FUNNEL" for the CF and CFX. I use the ELB mod, but once and awhile I have friends over. That being said, filling the whole oven is the best way to pass these vapes at a gathering.
I'm tired of cleaning out the groove everytime I fill it.
I was told it would be available in Nov. I have found out how to get the scale off the sides of the oven, so.
Here I sit with a broken heart, Waiting for a Boundless part. Doc
I'll bet @Ratchett can make one for you...

Try Vapcap storage tube, not as funnel but intermediary container.

I use ELBs with my CFX also and I got a 3D printed ELB filling tool from @Ratchett last year and its just perfect for this. It makes filling the ELBs a easy operation (I grind up a nug and fill all 4 at once). I find this way easier than filling up the actual oven, since you can just pop out a used ELB and swap in a fresh one and keep the circle going.

I've actually been thinking about making a 3D printed loading funnel for the Boundless. I believe I have something that might work

Does the Boundless CF and the CFX have the same "threading" for the funnel to screw into?

I'm using cone artist as a loading tool/funnel for my CF. It's a cone rolling tool I picked up at local head shop. Works great for both rolling cones and filling vapes!!!

After 3 months of use, I have finally accepted that I hate my CF.

It feels like a cheap toy compared to other vapes I have owned/used. It is like a rough sketch of something that could be great. Neither of my mouthpieces sit properly anymore. The charging process on this thing has always been super wonky as the charging port seems cheap and flimsy. The battery life is abysmal. It is not efficient at all. The vapor produced is so low quality compared to other devices, producing a weird plasticy flavor that has never subsided. It is not that easy to clean and maintain in fear of damaging the electronics.

I find myself going to my Lotus about 98% of the time over this thing. I'm sad because I really tried to like the CF but it just isn't for me.

When I first got my CFX I hadn't got the ELBs yet so I vaped just using the oven. The inside of the oven got black and scaled up. I tried iso, scrubbing pads (Mr Clean Eraser), Smoke Soap, whatever I could.
I can not be responsible for the following, cause I can't control how you do it.
Run the temp up to at least 400f. A qtip DAMP, I repeat DAMP with distilled water, and steam the scale off. Make sure you don't get water in the bottom. Use distilled water. It doesn't have chlorine or minerals to be left in the bowl. If you do this on it's side, the scale will fall off. Just be careful and only dampen the qtip. Doc
I repeat DAMP, and as the water drys out re-dampen and squeeze out the tip repeat.

It's interesting hearing ppls varying opinions of the CF/cfx, there is indeed a lot of new vapes out there that can prob beat this thing, but i still enjoy it myself because 1. it heats up pretty fast 2. it extracts very well if you use all the settings 3. this thing shines through water, it can really MILK even with small amounts of product, and i find i get much less of a plasticky taste when filtering the vapor. All things considering the CF is usually my go to portable out of the house, i think its still a great suggestion for those looking for those looking for an entry level vape with a big enough bowl to pass around with groups.

I paid for for a filling funnel back in December still have not recieved, so don't feel bad. The part should be standard in the box.
A buddy of mine ordered a CFX in december with an extra mouthpiece and never received the mouthpiece. He has contacted Boundless on numerous occasions.

I guess they are having a chat room instead of paying attention to business.
If you get a customer to buy your product, KEEP THEM HAPPY. They might help you sell more products. If you don't keep them happy then they might bad mouth you and your support or lack of. Doc

Hey guys, I have decided to purchase either the CF or CFX, but leaning towards the CF. The deciding factor for me is the difference in battery life between the two units. I have read varying reports about the CF battery life, anywhere from 6 to 15 sessions per charge. What can I reasonably expect from the CF?

I would love a funnel for the Mighty, Boundless CFX and the Alt now. Boundless mainly tho, it sucks to fill even with a doob.

Boundless seems to care about selling but not service or have a big turnover for a reason. Loved my CFX at first. Then the button gave out and I tried to contract everywhere here, site, email from my sales rep etc.

No reply for 2 months and pissed. Sent 1 last IM here and got a reply next day from Eric Chavez.
This was in Sept and my dad had a heart attack and had to take care of family. Sent reply 2 days ago and no reply yet.

Just a FYI

I feel they care more about new products and sales than current customers and that is not acceptable to me. I also hate the materiel used hates ISO on the rim. WTF?

Rant over.

When your cfx was working, did you find it comparable to your mighty?

Ordered a CFX and a few ELBs so that they are waiting for me when I get home from my trip! Been wanting a new vape and I've been very disappointed in what I've read about many of the popular vapes as far as reliability goes (Grasshopper fanaticism really get under my skin...)

Looking forward to adding this to my arsenal, my main flower portable is a Pax 2 which I still enjoy but now I'm looking forward to what the CFX can provide!

Just got a CF to replace my Arizer Air and this thing is absolutely amazing!
Literally the only downside seems to be that the Air is more efficient with weed.
In terms of vapor production, battery life, bowl size, heat up time the CF is much much better.

I have two minor issues:
1. The charging indicator light turns green, but it is not fully charged, only at 4/5 lights.
2. When heating up, the blinking lights turn solid after ~10 seconds and the oven is not hot enough to produce vapor.

Has anyone else experienced these issues? Is there a fix?

Yeah I agree that the Air is bit more efficient with product, but the heat up time, battery life, and draw resistance is better with the CF, I own both and the Boundless works so much better thru water than the Arizer too. Mine also only fully charges to 4 lights instead of 5, not a big issue at all though. As far as the oven not being hot enough to produce vapor, you have to kind of expect that, the unit will say its heated up to temp but in reality you would be wise to wait roughly 25-30 secs before drawing for best experience.

I had a problem with my CFV not charging all the way.

The solution I found was just to make sure the USB is plugged into a USB port (or plug) that has 2.4 Volt usb sockets.

I believe that anyone who wants to charge any of the current vapes to full should use USB 3 or an appropriate AC/DC converter.

Boundless, is there anyone reading this?
I don't want to live chat with you every week. I already know how to use it, I just want to use it to my best ability.
In November you said the "Filling Funnel" would be available soon. Feb 1st you said you would send me one, (which I am more than willing to pay for).
What happened? Doc

It's a shame cause we got it with the SwiftPro... and I don't know how I would do without it! Everytime I tried, I ended with plant bits in the hard to get to grooves around the o-ring, it was a pain!
