Yes, when emptying it out, you do need to shake it a few times to get most of the water out.

I can see how it would be a pita to try and clean it with boiling water, although I'm sure it cleans most glass pretty well. If you use some 91% iso, a little salt and a few shakes, it works fine. Just remember to flush it well with water.

It takes me 5 min to give it a good cleaning every few days, which in all honestly it probably very important since there is always some moisture in the center of the hydrotube.

I just got two more hydrotubes. I ordered a back-up a few weeks ago and forgot because, well... you can imagine why, then ordered another. :science:

What is your favorite hydratube?

Most of us prefer the adjustable screen for the extra control and flexibility it provides. I would get an extra stem, extra power cord, and some basket screens if it were me. Maybe one of each stem to see what you prefer.

You might want to think about a GonG or two. I like 14mm myself. The E-Nano works amazingly well with water, and even if you don't plan on it now you may want to try it in the future.

Great advise here ^^.

I bought both type of stems to see which was preferable and I mostly use my adjustable baskets. Mainly as it has a finer mesh than the glass gauze version which seems to let a bit more particulants though, particularly after a stir.

I know I can solve this small issue either with a small hemp fiber or organic cotton filter in the stem or, which I have been doing, just use hand torn chunks of bud.

If you have a water pipe, get a GonG. Great way to use the Enano for not a lot more money.

I actually use my Enano in a number of different ways and seem to like each and every one; rough hand torn, fine grind, on water via a GonG, or not, through a WP or just a J hook, different temps.

@CarolKing brought up a great point what was one of my question areas when I first got my Enano. The length/weight of the cord would pull the Nano and its rheostat off of the table. So, I bought a stand from Epic:

https://epicvape.com/product/aluminum-stando/

They were/still are out of stock on the Walnut so I got the aluminum and its fine. I mainly want it as a weight. Works great.

But the rheostat still kept sliding around and the dial would move a bit as a result. So, IAW some advise from Carol, I put a rubber band around the rheostat to keep the dial from moving so easily and bought a cable management weight like this (or make you own out of just about anything):

https://www.amazon.com/YOCOU-5-Chan...rd_wg=jZoQc&psc=1&refRID=95M22YNGQ5EWGWS3TJNQ

I really, really, really like my Enano and my EVO and both companies behind these products.

Cheers

I use a 3M Command Hook to keep my cord suspended, it also keeps the temp dial isolated so it doesn't change accidentally.

So, today I used my JHook and the ENano to try some herb I grew.
From seed.
From my own parent plants ... the male came from seed. :D

I grew it, cut it, dried it, and decided it was time to test the cure..

OMFG! The taste, at 6 on the dial, is incredible!

The ENano is a really great tool for sipping the flavors. Really good.

Was so excited to get my nano today after waiting a couple extra days due to a shipping mix-up, and nothing happens when I plug it in. No LED comes on, and it doesn't get hot. Started the warranty process but I figured I'd see if I might catch a break and someone knows of a fix? I tried two different power cables with the same result.

It came with two cords?

howie105,
yeah, tried a few different outlets. haven't found any posts with a similar issue so I figure I just got unlucky. hopefully the return process won't be too long... so excited!

I was very fortunate to have a friend who was selling his enano. Still have a hard time calling it mine now. I may not use it every night for with herbs, but even the aromatherapy dish is getting used each day.

Just the four scents we have now and are planning on getting some more. Beautiful looking enano and there are some Joda stems for it as well. I'll try to take some pictures of those later. For now, just enjoying it's essence.

Healthy evidence of it! *_*

There are less days to ask for mine ... but I read and I die of impatience! u_U

One that has a wide base connected and an upside down nano in it!! AKA - a bubbler! IME hydrotubes are a pain in the butt with the nano, though YMMV. If you like it, go for it. But, my nanos like to be inverted and I don't like to think about water shooting or dripping down into them.

That must SUCK! Sorry to hear about this. Hopefully Epic will get you straightened out soon. Has been a long while since any DOAs were reported here.

So it seems at this time my guy for flowers has become unreliable and I found someone else who only has oil. (that's supposedly good)

I have no experience with concentrates like oil or wax, aside from taking a few pulls from my friends pen thingy a few years back.

Anyway, I've seen comments about putting it on cotton for use with the e-nano and such.

I'm not opposed to buying a pen or something else if it's more efficient/works better with the oil.

I haven't obtained any yet, so I don't know exactly 'how it comes', so to speak. Do only certain 'containers' of oil work with pens or whatever that were designed for it fit properly ?

Any suggestions ?

For use with concentrates, if it is runny (more liquidy) a pen might be a better option. I haven't had the best experience with runny oils in any of my herbal vaporizers. Well, ones that have solid cans like the haze v3 or pax 3 might handle it better. My haze was able to utilize it better than any sandwich method I tried.

If it is more stable concentrate, balling it up in organic cotton or some degummed hemp fiber should work. I have an order of both on the way to start using it in my enano actually. I can't compare how the enano handles it to a concentrate specific device, but I can say that each of my two concentrate atomizers handle oil better than my herbal vaporizers. They hit quicker, harder, and have a bether flavor for most of the time. At the end they all taste a little "used" to me.

Thanks for the input Glow. If anyone has any recommendations/advice on any concentrate specific devices, please throw it out there. As I said, I'm completely in the dark when it comes to this.

Degummed hemp fiber works great with all but the runniest of concentrates (like what is produced for vape pens) in a nano. Just be careful and pay attention for possible drippage.

For other devices, there are a bunch of threads dedicated to different methods and devices. You may want to pose your questions in the ASK FC forum (or search for the probably hundreds of others that have asked the same), and the Concentrates forum. Either way, probably not the best idea to high-jack this thread with the endless discussions to answer your question. You should get to studying up soon!

FWIW, when going with concentrates, I usually just dab. IME hemp fiber is best for a little here and there, but if you're rolling with the gooey stuff you might as well go all in! Again, VOLUMES of information, options, techniques, etc on the appropriate parts of FC.

Speaking of whips, here's a re-post of my favorite setup I posted a few years back. Still my go to.

Also, I'd avoid any silicon from China for health reasons. It's cheap enough to get surgical grade tubing on Amazon.

WOW! Please tell me where you got those one-piece carbed gongs for the E-nano. I've been wishing for one ever since I got mine.

Yeah, I would suggest doing this with a Gong...that way if it leaks it does it down into your WP and not into your Enano heater. If you don't have one, they are cheap enough I think. Just a thought.

Love concentrates through water, too! But, when I have some truly gooey messy stuff I want to nano with, I often use a J-hook. Then you can twist and turn as needed if things start to get messy. Essentially, use gravity to keep the drips running back into the hemp fiber as they occur.

That's a Joda glass piece. Don't know if he is still doing smaller, simpler pieces like this but may be worth asking. Check out his thread here.

Ok, so going through my stuff, I remembered I actually have a glass nail, dome and connector (to make it a 'rig', I guess) that came with those water pipes I got from China, so I'm assuming all I need is the torch and dabber to effectively dab then ? That is if it's not a liquidity type oil only intended for pens ?

I asked her if it was more liquidity or gooey and she said...it's in a vial, I never touched it and she'll send me a pic when she gets home.

Sounds good. Check out the concentrates thread I linked above for all kinds of tips and cool tricks.

Oh, great idea. I have a couple of hooks and never thought to use them this way (cause I'm a dullard? LOL). Thanks

A fun way to go. Just remember that goo is gonna hit your throat harder when not gong through water. I don't nano this stuff as hard as I do when dabbing, but it still packs quite a wallop! In other words.... be prepared to cough, just in case.

As others have said, Joda GonG. @flotntoke posted a link to his thread, but as he said, he may not be making them anymore.

I also have @Oregonglassblower's carbed adapter and it work just as well, just one more piece to attach though.

Both are game changers for the nano. If you can't get a Joda, get an OGB. Better yet, get both and support this small community.
