very interesting, at it's price it's not a lot to pay for an extra toy. How much material does the oven hold?

Cool. My order is around 300 miles away at a post office in Miami and ought to be here Monday. Can't wait to have a Lithe back in my pocket as the only one I have now is one of the little tiny originals with the brass cap (and now no sheath) that lives in the cars first aid kit with a mini bic and card grinder.

The little Vapor Lithe is one of my favorites.

Sorry for jumping in without reading everything, wondering if someone might quickly answer if this vape has any indicator if getting too hot/close to combustion.

No.

Edit:
Its harder to get vapor than it is to combust. It does produce some thick clouds though.

As a vaporist, this is discouraging. I really like the design but i hate combustion... think ill be sticking to my vapcaps and lotus.

Did you was able to connect to the Lithe website: http://www.lithevapes.com/ ?

on my side it doesn't work (it was working well some days ago)...
Hello PPN,
http://www.lithevapes.com is running. it was not since I was migrating the domain from another company in the past few days.
The site lithe-vapes.myshopify.com also works in case the other does not.

Got mine yesterday. I expect a Gamma one in a few days. I will try hard to post some footage tomorrow. I was appalled by my shots yesterday so hoping tonight goes well.

All in all this is the Lithe I remember, I am satisfied and the rest of my butane units are in trouble.

EDIT:
Combustion is not easy in my opinion, but possible.

I was set to be delivered today but looks like USPS dropped the ball again, maybe monday or tuesday ill get to see whats up.

OK, she has landed. The "gamma" wood seems to be the same as the standard lithe or I may of gotten one on accident.

I have had three bowls through it thus far, one through glass. The vaporizer seems to operate somewhere between a vapor genie and lotus in that it has a heat exchanger that needs to be warmed up a bit but closer to VG speed rather than lotus if that makes sense. The tip can also retain residual heat, so much so that you can continue to pull vapor for quite some time after moving your torch away. The bowl/chamber is fairly large, havent weighed it but I suspect its closer to .1 or so fully loaded. Light tamp is imperative, if air can move about freely stirring is a non issue (pretty impressive for bowl size!) but a slight overfill or too much compacting causes the heating to be far less even in use. When warming the lithe it seems best to come at a slight angle rather than a strait shot a la VG and Stickybricks, I suppose this is because you aren't just heating the air but the heat exchanger as well. You get quicker results with the strait shot but the heating seems more uneven and sporadic this way. This is ultimately a blessing for dry use as aiming a torch strait at your face isn't very fun or particularly easy in my experience with the vapor genie coil. Preforms excellently with glass but the supplied silicone fittings are pretty easy to get stuck, an option with a wooden 18mm gong/wong down the line would be wonderful. Especially if it were sold individually as a body, that way folks could use their lithe as a chillum or wong while utilizing the same heat exchanger and chamber.

Size wize in the sleeve it is barely larger than a vapcaps tube, it comes with a handy stirring utensil inside the pouch so it travels well. The lithe has a unique taste profile, I think the walls of the bowl/chamber retain enough heat to introduce a negligible amount of conduction affecting taste ever so slightly. It tastes like a VG with pings of toastiness a la vapman. I really like it so far and seem to be getting better at using it each go, I plan to take it fishing this weekend to put it through some more paces. This is a lot of vape for $45-50, ill report back soon with my findings :science:.

Was hoping some other folks would have chimed in by now but I wanted to share a mod that has greatly improved my experience with the Lithe. The bowl size for me was simply too large for typical use, I like to use .05 or so per go and the chamber holds close to .1 and requires a certain fill for effectiveness. The solution I came up with is the standard dome screen/pusher trick, I cut the bowl size roughly in half and love the results. I've also been pushing it up a bit more to load for large single bong snaps, which this vape does very well.. It also survived a fishing trip this morning lol.

After using the lithe more i've found i'm fine with using the torch aimed directly in the hole rather than only at an angle, the heating is quicker and a little more erratic this way but once you get used to the vaporizer a bit it doesn't pose any issue. Still only one scorching incident (first day) on record. The typical technique is warm the cap directly for 2-3 seconds and the direct the flame to the intake and go strait for vapor, the visual cues through glass really help you keep a handle on the heat for monster hits.

Wow. Just finished reading the whole thread.

What a trippy read.

Since i started on the last page and saw a picture comparison with the vapcap, I assumed it must be a new vape (since i hadn't ever heard of it or heard it mentiomed at all). Thought it looked interesting so should go back and read about it.

Half way down the first page i happen to glance at the date of the post i was reading. 2012. wtf? How does this work?

Anyways, very glad to see a vape come back. Maybe it should be renamed the pheonix...

I think i now have more vapes than fingers, but still, keeping an eye on this one. Good luck @Lithe_vapes

Hello!,
I just want to differentiate the Gamma version from the standard version as it seems to be a confusion matter.
When we fabricate a batch we always find rare wood pieces with nice and cool patterns; those are the gamma. They are running out soon since from a few thousands we only get one/two hundred gammas.
The standard is how the wood type normally looks. In the current version we are using Jumu or northern elm wood.
