I'm in the market to purchase a new portable, my replacement crafty has broken and I'm looking to get another crafty or get the mighty. For those who own the crafty and mighty, is there one you prefer over the other? Thanks

After RMA'ing three Craftys. I traded up to a Mighty. Don't even consider anything less! It's just better designed all around than the little Crafty.

While I love the glass and the feel in the mouth, the unit is held in place by some plastic rings that want to slide up and out (taking the mouthpiece) with it once the unit heats up.

I don't think there's much qc on those rubber seals, some are looser than others. I got lucky I guess, as I have 3 glass mp's; all seals are tight and I can lift the Mighty up by the mouthpiece and shake it, no slippage. The only time it happens is if I try to flip open/close the mp with one hand, using my thumb. Key is to push down gently on that base tip while swiveling, so it requires two hands. That's the only drawback I've found.

Why? What good is glass compared to the original mouthpiece on the Mighty? The feel?

The taste! It's like a luxury room for the vapor to congregate in before it hits your mouth. Think of drinking juice in a plastic cup vs a glass cup. Someone also mentioned the different lip/tongue sensation since the shape is different.

The glass mouthpiece is wider, allowing a bigger inhalation... And the cooling is better with the glass. Plus, the amber collects on the base tip and I found that aesthetically pleasing, seeing it through the glass.

Awesome. And you can easily see when it's time to clean.

Hi guys I'm new here so please bear with me if I ask questions/ responses that have already been addressed.
I have been vaping for over 7 years now so have been through the mill when it comes to vapourizer's (Kind of get what you pay for).
In regard to the glass mouth-piece, I have a glass mouthpiece on my Mighty and would never go back to the OEM. The glass mouthpiece has a slightly bigger mouthpiece so as Blackfriars states above it allows for more vapour to be inhaled thus you don't have to inhale as much as you do with the OEM. Another bonus is that you will never get that plastic smell or taste I have heard fellow vapours complain off.:peace:
GO FOR GLASS:tup:

Nice to know I'm not alone in this thought! It really has been a game changer for me.
I don't agree about plastic smell/taste from regular mp however; I never thought the mouthpiece tasted like anything; it was completely neutral (part of the S&B mystic; a vape made from metal and plastic that doesn't taste like metal or plastic)
Going back to the regular mp after using glass; it feels swished, too flat. A little boring! I cough more.

For those who own the crafty and mighty, is there one you prefer over the other? Thanks

Mighty wins without question!

I 100% endorse that, as I've said previously on this thread it's a no brainier imo

Looks like you still have enough there to hold a CU on tightly from both sides so doesn't appear to be functionally impacting, yeah?

Yesterday I've used my unit the last time. I plugged the CU on it and heard a cracking. Now you can see a crack going through the plastic.

img0010ofo.jpg

The WPA's flanges aren't rounded and tapered (ramped down) at the end like a real CU, hence the caution to not screw it in entirely. You can always take a dremel tool or small files and fix it up...I did this.

This is a very good tip, I will surely try it! It would be interesting to know how you did that?

But I found I just didn't really like it as much as native with the Mighty and I have other vapes that I do use water with (EVO for example) and love it.

I like the normal usage more too, but I had to test the water filtration and it's also good but not perfect, especially with this flange!

Hi mate, that picture looks extremely familiar to me (mine fractured the same way only a larger piece of plastic had Come away). You can initiate an RMA from the support section on the S&B website. Good luck ✅

Yesterday I've put the CU on the Mighty and heard a little cracking, now my unit has this large crack going through the plastic. Not long and the other part will also break out. Take a look at the picture above.

I've contacted S&B through their Support-System and described the defect. Now I am waiting for an answer.

Thanks for the good Luck wishes. I hope this goes out well for me.

Hello, everyone. Been a while but I wanted to touch base back on my feelings on the glass mouthpiece for $9 USD I got from Hong Kong. All in all, I would probably not buy one again. While I love the glass and the feel in the mouth, the unit is held in place by some plastic rings that want to slide up and out (taking the mouthpiece) with it once the unit heats up. I have some pics below so you can see what occurs with this unit. Unfortunately, the piece will pop up and out with enough jostling and temperature changing so the piece can fall out and hit the ground, which is what mine did the first night I had it. Needless to say, the mouthpiece chipped on the concrete it hit and a larger stress fracture is now there, rendering the piece unsafe and useless. Your mileage may vary? Thank you.

The Vaposhop

mouthpiece shows the glass mouthpiece incorrectly fitted When I fit mine the gadget goes inside the CcU with thicker

I emailed the company a couple of days ago but have not yet heard back. This is a tough one. I feel the design needs more refinement (especially that plastic "holder" and tempering of the glass).

The Vaposhop picture of the fitted mouthpiece shows that it is fitted incorrectly, the gasket should be placed inside the CU. I think some of the problems you faced would be from trying to force the gasget and mouthpiece into the top of the CU.

I will admit this is a possibility. There were no instructions (Chinese or English).

I am fool enough to re-order, which I just did. I also ordered the 18mm water adapter to give that a whirl. I really liked that mouth feel of the glass and so I want this to work.

I prefer my Mighty for the most part ... but the size of the Crafty is very nice. The Crafty's performance is very close to that of the Mighty for 1 to 2 bowls, but then the heat recovery and heat up times become annoying. The Mighty goes strong for 6-8 bowls for me, with no noticeable drop in performance. Batteries on my Mighty are as good as the day I bought it. This is my 2nd Crafty, and battery is ok but could be better. It's off warranty so am in the process of doing my own replacement battery pack including wire harness (this might even improve it as some other members have suggested).

Hope that helps.

is 350$ Canadian a good deal for a older version but brand new mighty ??
Well they are going for $500 from PV new so I would say 30% off ($150) is pretty good ... it is brand new w/ full warranty?

Is it from a retailer? If so then as long as you have a receipt I would think you would be fine ...

If not from a retailer than if you can get the receipt than it should be good from the date of the original receipt anyways (sort of ... technically warranty is not transferable)

Hi Guys,

Quick question if you fill your Mighty/ Crafty bowl (0.2grams to 0.3grams) how many hits would you estimate getting out of the bowl if you vape at the default temp of 180 Celsius/ 356 Fahrenheit.

I know it also depends on the strength of the product you have inside etc. I read somewhere that 4-6 draws and your finished. I found that to be a little premature as I normally get about 12-15 hefty draws out of a bowl on 180 Celsius, I then may increase the temp to 195 Celsius to extract the reminisce of what's left.

How about you?

Very carefully. LOL

Seriously, just look at your S&B CU and look at the flanges on the WPA and you can easily see the slight but significant difference. Take any small grinding tool and just slowly and carefully round a bit where the WPA flange first enters the body's attachment and create a little bit of a ramp down to the end. At least mine was straight across the flange and needed a small bit of help.

Still don't really care for it all that much but its in the drawer with all of the other accessories.

Cheers

Would be actually pretty great if it was possible to simply fix the flanges of that easy flow thingy
... Am definitely trying this out soon and will let you know oc!

Edit: Can you then adjust it just like the original CU?

Well, its not a matter of adjustment, its a matter of the flanges of the Easy Flow fitting well with the flanges of the vape's housing.

If you work it enough, you should be able to mount the Easy Flow the same as the CU. The one I got I could get maybe an 1/8 of a turn before it got so tight I was afraid to apply more pressure.
