@stickstones I can't say I'm feeling any love from Minivap at the moment. I sent my teflon QC back to Spain on the 5th January as I was far from happy with it.. After talking via e-mail Hermes agreed to up-grade my teflon core to a glass core for 37.11 euros (50 euros minus the postage I paid to send it back)which I was happy to do, so I waited for the invoice. I heard nothing for nine days and then I was told yesterday by e-mail that they could no longer do this and that there was nothing wrong with my battery. I have now told them to look at posts no.6235, 6237, 6240 and 6242. So I am now at a bit of a loss as to what to do, really not happy with this situation. I was really interested in this vape for a while so when I had an opportunity to purchase my own in the black Friday sale I was really thrilled. In hindsight I would have got a glass core straight away as I am a heavy medical user and I find the teflon core not very satisfying. I was happy that I had also ordered the de-carb kit which was better. But I am starting to regret this I really don't need this stress and the implications behind being told there is nothing wrong and changing your mind about up-grading my Minivap(would have been 15 euros extra for a glass core in the black friday sale, I bought a de-carb kit for the eye watering price of 30 euros thinking I would be better off with this option). Sorry to bring negativity to this thread but when I read your above quoted post I had to post this. Whatever happened to 'the customer is always right', must be being old fashioned or something? Anyway enough moaning and any input would be appreciated.

Cheerz TOT

Is there anyway we can check?
Lol,. My Teflon core has also fallen multiple times. Gives me some comfort knowing it's solid. When I send my unit in for an upgrade does that go to sticks? Maybe he can let me know how my Teflon core is doing and we can get an idea of how crash resistant these devices are.

Literally I must have blacked out for like 30 seconds and it wasn't even the largest hit I've taken by far.

Minivap hits hard if you've got good bud. My last batch of bud might as well have been just dirt the stuff I have now is 4 times more potent.

Also, it's obvious when Vaping the quality of buds

This morning, just after to post in this thread, I remenber I need to test the MiniVap without basket loading directly in the chamber. For this purpose I choose my old Teflon core (with the smaller metal ring from the decarb kit installed to add a bit of conduction) with the AC adaptater on red setting. The load was big, a bit less than 0.2g but I was rewarded with big clouds, as expected with every full convection unit 4-5 first hits was thin but still denser than with the basket and the next 4-5 pulls were the bigger I experienced with the MiniVap, i ended pretty much medicated!

@Teenthontik im sorry to hear about your struggles. What county are you in? ime, most problems with Hermes are with the language barrier. If you pm me something identifiable, like an order number, I can see if I can draw their attention to it and clear up any misunderstandings.
I haven't gotten an email back from them regarding my faulty battery.

Any advice on what to do guys? Haven't heard back at all from minivap from both warranty requests. At a loss here.

Don't mean to double post but no response and I can't edit and it's been awhile.

I would try to get into contact with @stickstones if your located in the states. He's the man to talk to for all minivap stuff.

After making my post in the grasshopper thread chastising users for not thoroughly cleaning their vaporizers, how do I take the screen out of the glasscore to clean that screen?

Try using the tip of an xacto knife.

It was jammed in there tight. I had to really work it out with a pointy tip.
I'm sure I've asked and forgotten, sorry, how do you like your Minivap compared tot he SS GRasshopper?
I'm thinking of getting the titanium grasshopper but now that I have a quickcharge minivap, I'm wondering if I really need it for anything other than the size.

Glad ya got it out without having to sacrifice a screen in the process.

As for minivap vs GH? If I can use the minivap I'll go for that in a heartbeat. If time is a wasting and I just want a hard one hitter, that's where I like the GH. I actually have both ss and titanium, prefer the latter.

What do you mean by a hard "one hitter"? I hear people say this but I don't get it. Does it vaporize the buds faster for larger quick one hitter style bowls?

Just not sure I'm getting the difference, I know I just need to buy one but still just trying to grasp it first I guess.

Seriously, you pretty much hit it spot on with that assessment. Almost instant heat-up time, and if you have it set at high temp. it hits hard.......first hit tasty, thereafter, for me at least, harshness is quick and vapor is HOT when used dry. Nature of the beast I guess. Cleaning it also sucks compared to the minivap.

Like I said before, if given the choice, the minivap is so much better to me, but the GH is nice to have in the vaporizer arsenal.

Hmm to me the minivap is pretty much instant with the quick charge now. I get it on demand.

You really disheartened me with the cleaning though. That's why when I was presented with the minivap I was excited. Easiest vaporizer to clean. Why can't these other vapes be easy to clean?

Still using my Teflon old core with direct load (no basket) and I'm amazed how the MV can handle moist flowers, coarse grind and even no grind with great clouds and efficiency, abv is similar to the Herbalaire's abv while using the MiniVap like that!

MiniVaper for ever!

i quit using the baskets long ago and the minivap still taste great and massive hits through water..if anyone thinks the minivap isnt satisfying then just load.directly and put the flexicone and screen on top of load.and boom..big ole hits..and full extraction..i have glass and teflon and wish i had these quick ones..
