Cheap High Quality Bubbler

I have a real mobius matrix perc. As I've learned more, I do appreciate the Matrix perc from Mobius more now. I may get another real mobius again, but Steven LMZ Matrix percs aren't too bad. They need to squeeze in 50% more Vertical slits at least to make it like the Matrix perc IMO from pic judgements, but otherwise, it's still good.

I really think the main problem is that these chinese glass blowers haven't seen real pieces or smoked. If I could actually buy a Chinese glass blowing shop, I could definitely improve the quality to beyond American blowers IMO. My main hurdle is finding a shop, and being Chinese to own Chinese assets, but I think I can get around number 2 with some friends, so just need to hire some quality Chinese glass blowers!
Well written!

Has anyone had any success using a prepaid gift card (visa or MC) on dhgate shipping to USA? I purchased a card and it won't allow me to order internationally online...

Maybe check the settings of your profile of the card.
Ortherwise the point of these cards seems unclear to me, I recently gotten myself one too.

DHgate accepts PayPal according to their FAQ page:

edit:
Payment Option
What forms of payment does DHgate.com accept?

DHgate.com accepts PayPal, Credit Card, Wire Transfer and Western Union.

and this looks like a good option. You can park up some money with them and use it for, say, Chinese glass. Also, even if you use a credit/debit card via Paypal at least it's another layer of protection :tinfoil:.

@skaav re-edit Yea, just had a closer look and for retail buyers PayPal is not on the list.
Pity.

Thanks for the heads up. Do you know if they have any discount codes or free shipping codes?

No, I don't. I don't buy from there - nor do many. I buy direct from China for much lower prices. A search on this secret thing called "Google" may find some results, though. Do you need a link?

Despite nearly everyone on this thread buying from DHGate, we gave you the site, and I even went and found a few pieces for you. Your reply is to ask for discount codes? :hmm:

Hi all,

I'm interested to hear from those of you with mighty vaporisers what piece, purchased from DHgate, is your favourite to use it with?

Peace :peace:

None. I prefer using the Crafty and the Mighty alone. I found that what degrades the batteries of the two are the water tool sessions. At the end of which Crafty always signals being kaputt by its blue alarm. Mighty has no blue lights but it's just a Crafty with 2 batteries. Before realizing this I bought a D020D and it was fun to use it with Mighty and Crafty.

Yea, unless the 'portable' element of your vaping is paramount I'd suggest a plug-in.
They're more suitable for glass imo. Logs are a good option. I'd recommend Underdog.

Do bear in mind tho that down this path the pleasures and pains of GAS await :uhoh:

Great name and avatar btw.

Many people on the crafty thread have experienced similar problems, but for the most part the Mighty users (including myself) have had no problems using it with glass. Going two years strong and pretty much solely used through water for 18 months of that.

Thanks for the advice, I've just messaged @RastaVapa to get on the waiting list for a HGL and I'm going to enter @Ed's TnT MAW competition when I get enough trophies. So a log is definitely next on the list. Although i stumbled upon the DynaVap OmniVap today and that's piqued my interest... The VAS is real!

Until then though the mighty is all I have and it's been holding up being used with glass for a while now so I'm probably going to buy a decent piece for a bit of variety of glass while I wait to see what happens with the log.

I think I just admitted to having VAS and GAS... The struggle is real:lol:

Thanks, I used to have an account but I didn't use it much and then gmail locked me out of FC because I couldn't receive emails for the two step verification. Created a new email and profile and because I like to draw when high VanCough was born:lol:

I am looking for a 12 inch beaker to use with my grasshopper. Back in the day, when I would combust, a 12 inch beaker was my every day piece. It broke when I was moving last year. This is the only thing about vaping that I don't like so I need to get a new glass piece. From experience, I ready like the drawl pressure from a lot of water so I am thinking a beaker will work better than a bubbler but I don't know how this works with a vape pen.

I am thinking going with this one. Any suggestions?

Sounds more like a vape issue than glass issue to me. But, I've never been a fan of either the Crafty or Mighty. Not saying others shouldn't have and enjoy theirs, but not really my cup of tea.

Get what you think you would like best, but IMO a large beaker like this isn't the best tool for vaping. Nice for lung busting combustion, but check out what most others suggest here for the vapes. With something like a grasshopper, I'd go with smaller/simpler for at least a couple reasons.... Portability, flavor retention, easier to hit how you like without doing huge lung-busters every hit, easier to fill with vapor.

It's not like you can't inhale all the vapor you like before clearing instead of filling the whole chamber - then clearing - if you know what I mean.

That makes sense. I guess I am more concerned about water volume vs other factors. It seems like a lot of people order from DHgate but I would rather order within the states if possible. I saw where seveal peeps recommend the matrix

https://www.thickassglass.com/produ...x5mm-18mm-female?nosto=collectionpage-nosto-2

but it doesn't seem like it holds a lot of water. I am mainly looking for something to cool the hitter vapor from the grasshopper. I saw this pendant rig and was curious on how well this one will do on the grasshopper. It looks like it might hold a little bit more water for deeper hits

As a portable minivap user, I would definitely use a water tool. But I also declined to get the mighty/crafty when I was told that I could spend more for an even better vaporizer (the minivap). I use mine daily in portable mode with all types of bongs no problem.

This isn't some vaporizer specific thing.

I'd get a small recycler if you want the smoothest of hits. A d020d style piece if you want more flavor, and something with a pure basic perc if you want the most flavor.

I use my FTK the most.

Yeah... that first one is good - if a bit overpriced because from a US re-seller. I have a similar one myself that I love.

Why concerned about water volume? IME it really doesn't take much to tame vapor. And if that is a big factor for you, just throw your water in the fridge for an hour first if cold tap water isn't cool enough.

go smaller. something with a small can will be fine.
someone used to post an inline tongue diffuser that would be perfect. I think you want a 14mm female IIRC but I don't have a hopper

I'm just basically going back to my memory with most bubblers. They never seemed to satisfy me because the pull was never "deep" enough. Plus water would always get in my mouth. But it sounds like I need to get over ilthat preference.

I think you really want a 14mm male to fit the grasshopper silicone tip.
Like this but 14mm:

@CroZure I have a Mighty vaporiser, I cannot compare it against the grasshopper (which I haven't tried) but it's renowned for producing some of the best vapour from a portable, however I find the first piece of glass I purchased (the GB-187 10" 60mm diameter by yingmin5) to have too much diffusion.

The next bubbler piece I'll be considering will be something around the 8" size.

These look good:

Or a hydratube like this:

I know you've said you'd like to buy American and I can understand wanting to support a fellow countryman and small business, but at your price range you'll get more bang for your buck with DHgate. Wait and spend some more getting some nice American glass if that's what you want to do, otherwise you're probably just going to get ripped off by purchasing some crappy glass you could have paid less for.

They're all mighty pretty pieces, but think all are going to create quite a bit of diffusion. Diffusion has little to do with the size (other than churning in a tube), and more to do with percs and path. I'd strongly suggest you get a simpler piece for vaping. They're cheaper, too! Maybe not as intricate, or cool looking, but the fewer tiny bubbles churning around in there - the better - IMO.

Matrix type percs (sometimes tires and other names) can do this pretty easily, but IME take a little more hit control. Slow and steady until clear is fine. But the simpler showerheads (D-020 & D-020D type) work nicely. One of my personal favs for simple low diffusion vapor is the good old FC ufo. It doesn't look like much, and is almost corny with tube option (which I enjoy regularly by the way), but is a solid hitter and you can orient the mouthpiece whichever way you like.

Stick with reliable sellers who have a good rep here on FC as always.

EDIT: @CroZure - I'm not exactly sure what you are saying with the "deep" pull, but if I'm getting it at all, it's what I would call initial draw resistance. That can be fun for me sometimes, and I really like it on dabs. For a couple cool pieces that do this, while still somehow retaining flavor, check out the FC710 and good old D-cycler (also available with a honey bucket from same seller). They're also 14mm male, which from what I understand will work well with your GH.

I kind of like this one because of the tubing and it from reading the reviews, a lot of people use this one for vaping. I have a mighty too but it looks like I will need a 18 mm to 14 mm adapter. I did read one review where a person said that it was too big for flower, which is what I always vape.

I really like this one too. I guess the mighty will work with both 18 mm and 14 mm so this one is a serious consideration.

Maybe I just need to get both.
