Dry Herb Vapes at Vegas Champs 2017

I got some information on a few new units. The audio quality is pretty weak especially in the haze section

An interesting point I was told after I stopped filming about the Iolite units, is that EVERYTHING is done in-house at their factory in Ireland. Every single piece/part is designed, built, and assembled there. I was also told they have more ideas in the works as well, but didn't get any further details.

Let me know if you have any questions, I actually talked to the booths quite a bit longer than I filmed them.

The square looks like a be-all, end all portable vape for me. I truly hope that it can delivery enough battery life for 4 bowls full of concentrate and meets my cleanability requirements. Also hope it doesn't have a bunch of teething problems like other on-demand vapes have in some cases. Why the fuck has nobody else thought to make a vape that lets you carry several separate loads already in the unit for separate consumption - this is so crucial to claims of 'portability'!

@Godspeed IMO the Square from Haze has a chance of outdoing the firefly 2. Much more battery life (not user removeable, but there is the USB-C Square Pro unit with ~40 min to full recharge and passthrough functionality at 20v over USB-C), cheaper too!

Those portables all look interesting and well made, and it's nice to see a new focus on low price.
Although this entry level and other higher level models approach does sometimes hurt my brain when trying to choose one!

That thing is pretty cool. USB-C will be making a big splash in the portable scene over the next 24 months, can't wait to get a hopper with USB-C. But that things 4 cell set up seriously needs it!

My one thought is the faster you recharge an Li Ion battery the higher the amperage used.
The higher the amperage used (well, at least above a certain threshold depending on the battery) the somewhat shorter the life span as measured by discharge/charge cycles.

Anybody know what max amperage a USB-C will provide?

I know its too late, but I sure wish Haze reconsidered their decision to not make the batteries removable. Stealth isn't everything to everybody and I would hazard a guess that older vaporists aren't that terribly interested in vaping in public. Along those lines, I would have urged a slightly larger overall size and a removable standard configuration battery like an 18650 which can be had at much higher amp hours of capacity than the 2500 (or was it 2800??) cited for the Square.

I feel the same way about the GH (which I own and love very much). Make it slightly bigger and loose a lot of the criticality in the design.

I came away excited mostly for the Square. On another note, I got to hit the puffco plus and loved it. Did a side by side with a coil atomizer and the plus made it taste horrible. Very surprised.

The Haze Square looks great, but they've been promising and previewing this thing for quite a while now. If they stick to the sub $200 price mentioned in the video, it'll be a hit. Not sure I'll be able to hold out that long though. I've got the FF2 and a Solo for my own private on-demand consumption, but I'm finally looking to upgrade my failing OG Davinci for another session vape that I can share with friends. I don't wanna spend the $275 for the IQ, but it sounds like the Haze is still at least six months away (and that's based on their own probably optimistic guess). I love the fact that they are taking the time to get it just right before they release it, but I don't know if I can keep my VAS at bay that long.

@BuzzDanklin Thanks for the video fella, it's great getting a rundown of what coming up. Although I love my Hopper and OmniVap the VAS is always calling.

The H² looks awesome, some real inventive ideas going on there. Like @herbivore21 stated, having multiple hit's lined up ready rock is brilliant. Takes the pre-loaded caps idea a step forward.

Not so sure about the IOLite Wispr E(+) though. Looks like they took their butane style vape and switched out the guts. I never liked my Wispr, not a fan of the silicone tubing, but I guess thats just a personal thing.

The LINX looks like a nice small device, not so sure about the Vapium but it was a prototype.

The H² was definitely the star of the show.

is convection based? It looked to be, just curious. Thanks for all your hard work. Are you looking for an intern, apprentice? I can carry your bags, grind your herbs, charge batteries, and if your a/c craps out that's where I really shine......I can relocate, I am sure my wife won't mind. Alright I am just kidding, but let me know anyway, huh?
