The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

SSVUN~YAH

You Must Unlearn, What You Have Learned...
Take a little strip of whip tubing...just a strip, not a cylinder....and put it between the glass and the housing to hold it in place. Also, probably can do the same by building up with plumbers teflon tape.

As far as "don't turn all of the way", I just took a dremel and some files and have put a little bit of a ramp in the flanges of the Easy Flow so it catches better. I still don't crank it all the way as I am very protective of my Mighty's housing, but its on there damn tight.

I intend to use the whip with the factory MP (and the glass after market MP I bought) to see if that's better. My initial experience with the Easy Flow and WP were not satisfactory to me.
My initial experiences were the same. I modded my easy flow similar to your approach and it's working great. I also use a basket screen for logs as a spacer between the pod and screen on easy flow adapter. It's a shame you have to mod the easy flow, but you can definitely improve it as you've already done. Cool idea with the ramped flanges!

Does the color of the sealing rings refer to anything like revisions or sth.? Just noticed that my Mighty from Dec 16 had a purple ring around the heating chamber (while my Mighty Feb 17 got a blue one) and inside the CU I guess it was blue instead of purple now. Just curious why they use different colored sealing rings. And Ive got pictures from my old Mighty proving that it had a purple one round the chamber.

@Chandler :

I believe @nenmayk is saying that you must be an FC member to buy.

No site or online storefront; you need to use FC messaging to contact him for the purchase details. Pretty good price, $30, domestic US shipping included. Anyone out there have one yet?
I bough one last week on eBay...It fits well and looks ok...Not really sure why I bought it...I have no need for my Mighty to stand up...I guess it was one of my many impulse purchases....

Some moan and cry about the plastic,
but on cold nights, it's just fantastic.
Anodized aluminium is cool to see,
but cool to the touch it also be!
For the new vape make it same,
but molding lines they are so lame.
Hide them from our delicate hands,
if Storz & Bickel makes any new plans!

Love your Mighty this Valentines day! (sorry ladies!)

Yup it most definitely does but....... (dramatic pause) blue is the most up to date one. I think it gives you boost mode. An draw sense to override the auto timer and a longer auto timer of 5 min I believe. Don't quote me but just stuff I read. Cheers!

Hi all,

Been using my Mighty vaporiser for almost 2 years now and it's been great but as it's coming to the end of it's warranty period with Storz and Bickel I think it's time to make the most of that and get it serviced.

What's the best way to go about this? Is there anything I should mention to them that will ensure I get a full service (or any bonus things e.g. new battery, software update, housing material update, etc.)

Also, I've been using an easyflow water tool adapter from vapefiend here in the U.K. and it's scratched a groove in my oven chambers ceramic. Does anyone know if there is any way to get Storz and Bickel to repair this? I don't believe it affects the function but if this is my last chance to get serviced/repaired in my warranty period then might as well make the most of it.

Peace :peace:

The only pointers I can offer, is that I asked the company will it be possible to add things like the new vibration patterns or boost function to an old Mighty later.
They said it won't be possible, but for some warranty cases, they issue a brand new Mighty and it would have the lot built in.

Now what I don't know is if they got a Mighty in for a cleaning and service or other repair, and the Mighty was badly damaged, would they ever replace with a new one or even charge accordingly.

I think your best bet is to ask and pay for the full service and cleaning.
It's probably better to say as little as possible about third party water attachments? Maybe just play it as sparsely worded as some of these companies do when talking to us?
That will leave it up to them what should be covered by a warranty, or if their main interests are that a loyal customer has a perfect working vape for the coming years.

Of course this is just a guess as I've no direct experience of the process, but I have seen people pleasantly surprised by the options this company can offer their customers, even in the final days of a warranty.
Good luck!

Looking to purchase this vape. Anyplace have a discount code?

Reach out to Puffitup and tell them you're from here. They have a discount code, but I forget it..,

I bought mine last week at puffitup with code FC-1 and got 15% or 20% off. After everything it was cheaper than the Crafty I found elsewhere. Super fast shipping and great price.

Thanks for the response @blackstone

I guess the best thing to do is to ask anyone who has sent their Mighty back to Storz and Bickel, and managed to receive a brand new one back, what they told them was wrong with it? I have noticed my Mighty a handful of times act a bit glitchy, with random parts of the screen lighting up, maybe that would be enough if I play it up a bit?

Just want to ensure I have the best possible Mighty when my warranty runs out so it'll last me for many more years.

Although the one with purple has had the boost function, too. Timer was set at 2 minutes, didnt change as well. Anyway thank you for your replies. All in all the new one seems pretty solid just being a bit overreacting to anything as Ive done the replacement with the reseller instead of S&B and I dont want to wait another few weeks for a new one.

Nice discussion about S&B service willing to satisfy every customer but tbh you gotta pay a lot of money for S&B products therefore you should be treated like first class apple like customer.... Good luck @VanCough

@RedEyeRasta

..quick couple of ideas..

what does the smoke smell like?

hopefully you should be able to tell if its plastic

do you brush it out every time you use it?

could be residue fallen in heater

good luck

you are right. it is residue fallen into the heater :D. Some days ago I cleaned the bowl section and the screen. maybe some residue fell into the heater when I was putting the screen back in. does anybody know how to get it out of there? It definately didnt smell like plastic but it did smell weird to me because since I have stopped smoking smoke smells awful...

For those interested in my S&B warranty questions I've been in contact with the supplier where I purchased the mighty, here in the UK, a company called @VapeFiend.com (nothing but praise for them!)

They've informed me that S&B will only replace units with new ones if there is a critical electronics or heater failure.

Now I'm left wondering whether my glitchiness is something that will progress into a critical electrical failure down the line?:hmm:

Think I will just send it back and see what they can do for me.

If anyone reading this has any tips regarding how to get the most of S&B in this process then please reply and tag me or DM me.

Not particularly 'user-seviceable'.
Burn it off on max temp a few goes, with c/u removed? (If you're sure it's not plastic or electronic smell!)

I think this happened to one of my Grasshoppers recently. Out of the blue, two awful tasting combustion hits. One for my wife, who just handed the thing to me with a grimace, then one short one for me. When I looked at abv and it was evenly medium brown, no dark at all. So I believe some fragment got below screen and contacted the heat element. It went away very quickly.

the so-called 'intermittent' issues in electronic devices: all you can do is continue using it until it really fails. you just never know. if it were me I'd hold off sending it in until the problem is permanent. otherwise, if you send it in and it doesn't misbehave on their bench, they'll either suggest a repair - probably expensive - or tell you they can't determine what the issue is.

1) holy cow I love my Mighty. This is my primary daily driver. I have nothing bad to say about it at all, except...

2) it's heading back for an RMA. The body started to separate at the top by the bowl. Looks like the adhesive failed? I don't recall dropping it and I'm gentle when twisting the cooling unit in place, but who knows? It could have taken an impact at some point without my knowing it.

S&B hit me back with approval of the RMA within just a couple hours of opening the ticket. I'll be boxing it up and sending it off to the CA service center (I'm in OR.) Just waiting a couple days for a DaVinci IQ to get here and act as a fill in until they fix it.

Hey vapviking, how should the smell come from the electronics? there is a "whats inside the crafty" vid where someone takes it apart and the heater does not seem to be near the electronics... what do you think about it? my battery life is also not very good (5-6 x 5-8 min sessions). maybe its best for me to send it in????

I was only suggesting caution and not speculating on the smell's nature. So, as you had said it didn't smell like plastic and maybe something had fallen through, I suggested further burn off.
If, for instance, there were some electrical short circuit on or near the circuit board then there could be an 'electronic' type smell. But again, I'm not saying this is the case for you.

Battery life is another issue. That sounds like less than optimal performance, from my experience. In US, I believe I would have to pay for battery service (they are not warranted for wear) but I believe in Germany you have better options.

A few months ago S&B added cleaning as a service, for some fee. So, if you are really concerned about the smell, maybe you could open the conversation about battery service first and then get some discount or consideration on the cleaning fee, as they would already be opening the unit anyway.

Hello everyone, I just thought I should finally get round to joining and contributing to this really nice forum.
I stop smoking a couple of years ago after trying a solo and then finally getting a flowermate as my first vap. It took a bit of getting used to after my pure pipe, but i really got into vaping and got then the fm pro. When my first flowermate died it was pretty easy to get the Crafty and was really impressed with the vapour but the heat up time and batteries was pretty shitty.
When this crafty died and i had to go back to my FM pro for a week whilst the new crafty came I decided I needed a better back up vap for the Crafty. I choose the Mighty obviously. Now I use the Mighty and the missus uses the Crafty. I never bother grinding my weed just crumble it in, works fine.

One thing I would add to the glass mouthpiece debate is get one or two. They are great (imo). Someone had a bit of a problem with them being a bit loose. I had this problem as well for a few months when I was using the Crafty and eventually realised the silicon ring wasn´t sat in place proper so the glass didn´t fit quite right. When it sits in the CU proper I can hold my Mighty by the mouthpiece even at 210.
I´m the type who never drinks out of a plastic cup so when I was first getting a vap the plasticness and price of the Crafty put me off. When I saw the replacement mp was available it was one reason to get the Crafty. I´ve never used the Mighty with the plastic mouthpiece. The vapour is nicer and cooler through the glass and you can see if the CU is getting dirty by how clean the glass is.

I really liked my Crafty but hated the charging/battery life.
I just really like my Mighty.
