Volute of Vapor
I crossed a vape called the Black manba in Alibaba, very similar in shape with the Evoke... can't find the mail I received but a quick search will show you.

Im an early contributor, lol.
Me as well. I even bought 2 because they said you needed one for flower and one for concentrates back then. Looking at the selling price now I guess $79/$99 each wasn't that bad but I wonder if I will even be able to sell these things brand new in the box . . . assuming I ever get them of course.

And I have to wonder about the stretch goals like the engraving and the water adapters . . .

What things, I have seen no evidence that these actually exist :suspicious:

To Our Founding Supporters and Fans,

We are excited to share our most recent successes!

We are finally slated to submit Evoke units to the FCC and UL for compliance testing in the first week of January! This is a major milestone for Loto Labs and a massive step closer to changing the vape world forever.

To clarify, this essential compliance step will ensure that Evoke has a level of safety and quality assurance that can be found lacking among many of today's vaporizers. As 2016 winds to a close, we are overjoyed to see the long road to Evoke production come to a close.
Along with our compliance submission, our automatic lung has been pumping overtime, fueling experiments to further optimize Evoke's mouthpiece, air-flow and susceptors. Using a laser diode and special camera, we are able to conduct tests by capturing the beam profile and measuring the scattering of aerosol particles. We can track vapor density and quality as it changes with different susceptor and air-path configurations. All of this will ensure that the vapor produced by this groundbreaking piece is second to none.

Again, we couldn't be more pleased with what's to come. While we could bore or terrify you with all the obstacles and issues we've overcome in the past in order to get where we are today-or use the hurdles we continuously face as excuses for delays-we don't see that as fair to you, or helpful in honoring our commitments to our customers or in our mission of changing vaping forever. We have not given up or wavered, and we are heartened that even complaints are communicating something very important to us: that you clearly share our desire to see this product hit the market. We will deliver; it is our mission above all. A groundbreaking year is upon us and we can't wait to share it with you all.

Happy Holidays,

The Loto Labs Team

2016 was anything but typical. Turbulent geopolitics, a presidential race for the history books, precious lives lost, and precious lives just beginning. No, there's never been a year quite like this.

Like so many families, individuals, and businesses across the globe, we at Loto faced an onslaught of challenges that pushed us to expand our definitions of "normal."

Overcoming obstacles is never easy or comfortable, but what we learn in the process is as priceless as the progress we make.

No doubt, you all pushed through adversity to be here today, on the precipice of yet another year. And we are right here with you.

We can't speak for everyone, but currently, we are filled with more purpose, more drive, and more optimism than ever before, heartened by exciting developments and always in service to our still-avid supporters, and the great many yet to come. We sincerely hope that you all feel the same about the next chapter in your own lives.

After a crazy year, so much about 2017 may seem unknown. Yet today, we at Loto Labs can say with certainty that we will change the world of vaping in months to come.

We hope you are with us in our mission, and that you enjoy the fruits of our labor when you experience them next year. We hesitate to offer exact timelines-we've learned that the hard way-but, we are extremely giddy, and excited about what's in store.

We know that words are cheap and nothing short of execution will prove that your faith in us was well-placed. We honestly can't wait for that day, when we pass around the champagne we've been saving and the vapes we've practically moved mountains to craft. And, while it will come in 2017, until that day, it's back to work for us.

From everyone at Loto Labs, thank you for all your support and feedback, and please have the happiest and safest of New Years.

Peace, love and Vaping,
The Loto Labs Team

I still get some hopes it will be something "special" since none chinese manufacturers will take so much time to release a product.....I'm a bit biased cause i invested some $$$ in this vape and i would like to be happy at the end...
I truly hope you are happy and that I am wrong. I am just discouraged by the lack of technical language or even demonstrated technical expertise in the field. When I see the many troubles that befall even honest and highly committed vape designers, it is hard to expect much from designers with little demonstrated honesty or commitment.

There aren't a whole lot of big secrets in the industry. Most of us on FC know as much about vaporizer function and heating systems as your average vape designer or distributor. The vape will either be convection, conduction, or a mixture of the two. It will be battery powered. Seems like the Evoke will be conduction and I'd be shocked if it was better than the Boundless or Pax line because there's only so far you can go with with electronic conduction. Correct me if I'm wrong but Loto has done little to suggest they are actually going to break new ground in this industry

This "amazing" "new tech" is moving at "breakneck speed" through "uncharted waters"

All this while "breaking their backs" from "burning the midnight oil" :whip:

I'm ready to have my "socks blown off"

Greetings Friends and People,

We hope 2017 is off to a great start for you all, and that life is treating you especially well.

As for us, we're working morning to midnight (and beyond) to meet our commitments to you guys, so we apologize for being slightly out of pocket on emails and responses the past couple of weeks. Nevertheless, we thought we should take a quick break, surface from the trenches, and give everyone an update:

So, things are looking... (drum roll) ... great! Chinese New Year caused a slight snag in our getting two minor parts/materials. But, things quickly turned to green again on that end, thankfully. This being the Year of the "Fire Rooster," we feel, still bodes well for us. So it's all good.

We also encountered a small, but confusing, issue with Evoke's firmware, but we've resolved this.

Aside from all that, some big news that we're ecstatic to share is that our preliminary scans for regulatory compliance testing were, in a word, "amazing."

These scans are conducted to measure unintentional radiation from any consumer electronic device of this kind to ensure conformance to rigid safety standards. This is new tech, uncharted waters, if you will. So, the results are important. Very important. That's why we're incredibly proud (and relieved) to report that Evoke's results are legitimately on par with an electric toothbrush. Translation: we're sailing!

Honestly, we're blown away by the results, and have been assured we have a lot to be proud of. It's a pretty satisfying experience when 18 hour days, 7 days a week yield some positive, tangible results. We have been breaking our backs, so it makes some sense, but still... feels good.

Aside from that, things are bordering on ludicrous speed now. We have some exciting (but super secret) things we can't wait to share with the world. We'll have to wait until next month for that. But, for now, just know that things on our end are going well, Evoke is looking more and more like it'll be a handheld masterpiece, and we're pushing the limits of human capacity to ensure we meet all our commitments (yes, including ship dates). Meanwhile, we're also preparing for the imminent blowing off of some socks. Please stay tuned.

Thank you again for all your support and patience, and to all our fans who've been so generous in sending encouraging words and cheering us on as we approach the first of many finish lines, we can't thank you enough. You always remind us what really matters. We love you guys. We'll make you proud.

Peace, Love and Vaping,

The Loto Labs Team

I am glad that they keep pretending, purely from an entertainment POV.

"It's a pretty satisfying experience when 18 hour days, 7 days a week yield some positive, tangible results."
Don't you guys understand? Loto is the victim here! They are working 18 hours a day, 7 days a week and you asshats are being mean to them! Other wanabe vap inventors would release a product after maybe a 1/2 a year of R&D and production. But not Loto! They go the extra mile on secret products; 18 hours a day, 7 days a week for many years!!!

"things are bordering on ludicrous speed now."
I expect my Loto Vape within a few weeks!

"We have some exciting (but super secret) things we can't wait to share with the world. We'll have to wait until next month for that."
But, but...

"we're also preparing for the imminent blowing off of some socks."
Damn it! Im barefoot!

As always:
If and when I actually receive a working Loto Vape I will claim to have never doubted.
Screw you haters.
