Life Saber (LSV) by Elev8 Vehicles

Looks like a job for!
'super log' (how I think of lsv) atm.

That is exactly how I'd describe it and use it.
Direct into a water pipe with a 18mm to X GonG and a @DDave basket screen.
The LSV is like 1.6 logs rolled into one, you have all the weight and cord management that would come with that, but also gives amazing performance.

My favorite setup is a 18Male to 14mmFemale adapter and set it on a GB-242, using it as a had peice.

Provides damn near the performance of dual e-nanos but with the advantage of being able to lift it around.

Because the LSV relys on the heater element length rather than ambient heat soaking it also is way way faster to heat up and to react to temp changes.

Almost there...
Just broke out my OLD purple LSV!
I could not remember the dial position so i set it to full for a few minutes and backed down to 1pm.
Instant vapor and a tiny burnt spot, nasty taste...
Dialling it down now and the clouds are still large and in charge!
Flavor is still not nearly on par with some of my other vapes which is what i am after.
More testing to be done to find that sweet spot again!

I am using a M2M with an EQ basket at the moment.

This is a heavy hitting vape! Glad i found it tucked away at the back of a drawer!

Try this.

No water.

Dial down your temp dial to around 10:00. Fill transfer wand (no basket) to no more than one quarter to a third full. Hit it inverted (that is, transfer wand facing up and LSV facing down) by taking 3 to 4 short cigar like puffs. Hold 5 seconds. Stir and repeat. Report back on the flavor.

The LSV is truly a beast that needs to be tamed at times.

Anybody have some tips on heat level for tall and short WPAs?
I have one of each and have started with the short - but a little trouble dialing it in. What clock position and time of preheat would be good to try for the short? I am doing a bed of flower with dabs on top. Next will be the flavor disc alone I suppose

There's lot of variables but I usually test new strains starting at 12 and work my way up to about 1:30 or 2 depending on the results I'm getting. Haven't really been using the 18m2m adapter much since I got a UD, but I usually hit it at 10 or 11. My replacement LSV runs hotter and has a noticeably smaller air intake so I get monster hits passed 12 with it. :ko:

Edit: You may feel the need for higher temps than that. That's just what I prefer. I pretty much leave mine on all the time like a log but for optimum results I think at least 8 to 10 mins preheat is ideal.

Ahhh.... There you are old friend! WOW the flavor is amazing again! Only a slight yellow spot on the herb, may need to spin the wand during the hit. Kind of awkward as i only have the long transfer wand.
Feels like i am trying out for the sword swallowing competition! LOL!

Strain used:
Girl Scout Cookies
Flavor:
Amazeballs!
Clouds:
Large
Effects:
Creeping on...

My only complaint about the LSV is that it gets hot spots at times.
I wonder if there is a way to install some sort of diffuser to more evenly disperse the hot air?

Think i just solved the hot spot problem!
I installed some stainless steel scourer pad above the screen inside the LSV, it diffuses the hot air and i get no more hot spots!! Will be testing some more.
So far i have needed to turn up the power to around 1PM.

Glad it worked out for ya. Flavor is important for me as well.

And ya, I only use the long transfer wand too. Never thought about the sword swallowing analogy but that analogy fits perfectly. A bit awkward but being that I only hit it 2 to 3 times every other night (alternate between the LSV and the MV), it's really no big deal for me.

Happy ya got your taste back.

I like the ddave screen but I want something a little deeper so I can give it a stir and not spill. Does a evo elb fit in a m2m 18mm?
Is the Arizer screen deeper than the ddave?

I used to really love my LSV, but after trying a log vape the first time, I have not used the LSV since. The only way this vape would make any sense to me anymore is if it could stand up on it's own. In order to keep it on for a while, it can't lay down on it's side or that metal frame that houses it will become so freakin hot it can hurt me.
It's big, way bigger than it needs to be, but that's not really a problem. I used to leave it on for hours on end because it's stupid annoying to turn it back on and wait for it to warm up before I can take a drag.

Yeah, it performs well. But the placement of the cable makes the vape not make any sense in my world anymore.

That said, I was just missing the giant loads I could put in the dry stem. Man, I could make a stem last hours with this puppy. People always looked at me like I was crazy when I would pull the big metal bastard out of it's bag lol
If they would just make it so I could set the darn thing down....

I wrap a pot holder around it and attach zip ties at both ends, leaving the dial accessible. That way i can comfortably hold it at high temps and it doesnt roll around.

I run my LSV with the knob ranging between eleven to three o’clock (depending on what is loaded) at the upper range its a bit hot to the touch but I still use its carry bag as a holder and it hasn't caught on fire yet. On the other hand I try not to leave the LSV on and unattended unlike my e-nano which I don't worry about stepping away from for a bit. Its not only the power of the LSV that I enjoy but the simplicity and adaptability of the whole package .

So I am getting thick vapor on flower in the wpa at 1 p.m.
I get almost combustion with flower at noon in the transfer wand. Still looking for the sweet spot
Do these sound right?
Problem is: I am getting almost no vapor from concentrate on cotton in the wpa even at like 4 p.m.
Am I wasting my time using the wpa for this? Dabs on flower in the wpa kind of burned before they vaped but maybe I don't have it dialed in yet
Haven't tried the flavor disc I got yet in the wpa. Better than cotton?

I have the 18mm ddave ssv mod dialed in for the lsv but I want to get away from the whip.
I had the ddave lsv mod but it got stolen before I tried it. Do the screens fit snug? I have a m2m now that doesn't grip the ddave screens so it kind of spills every time you lift off the unit.
Will evo screens be better or will they lift up too?
Do I just have to get the ddave lsv mod again? The screens are a little shallow but the best I have tried so far. Vapexhale denied my cc so I figure it is sign to not pay $25 for 4 screens
Can I make my own screens for the m2m I have? Is that what that basket screen making tool is all about? Can I buy raw screen and cut my own for my m2m?

It will vary with each unit, person, strain, etc. but I generally use the WPA around 1 or 1:30, and the dry wand at 10 or 11. For concentrates I really like using the Mighty SS liquid pads. I get great results around 3 o'clock, but there is a lag in vapor production. I haven't tried cotton, but I would think too much heat would go around it, instead of through it. I haven't used the flavor disc, but I'd say you'll get the best results that way. ELB's and EQ baskets will fit snugly in a standard 18m2m but the EQ screens are also shallow and can spill herb when stirred.

Afternoon All! I wanted to share one of my latest projects which I've been working on for over a year - a sturdy stand for the LSV Vape! I've been working with a CNC machinist to bring some of my larger creations to reality. Here's what we came up with - an aluminum LSV stand with an optional tool-stand.

What do you think of it? Questions, Comments, I'm all ears, although I know the mods would appreciate if I remind people to PM me or take this conversation over to my official thread so we don't go too far off topic with this vape thread.

I'm hoping to publish this stand to my storefront within the next few weeks once I finalize the tool-stand design (hole configuration)

I am looking at getting a second wand but am wondering if there is a performance difference between the fatty and regular transfer wands.
I am not looking for a larger bowl (so maybe that rules out the fatty) but would like something shorter than the stock wand. If there is a shorter one is the vapor noticeably hotter?
edit: my bad it is a shorty wand. I could have sworn there was one called a fatty but maybe I dreamed it. Question still stands though.

btw: that stand looks baller (but will it hold a transfer wand?)

If I had a stand like that, would use it more frequently.

I love this.

One abstract idea is to be able to turn it over or into a different configuration

Thanks!

So I'm planning to sell two versions of this stand: Complete kit with base and tool-stand, Vape-Stand with no base or toolstand to be mounted wherever you choose.

I'll be listing this stand on my store within the next month, anyone who's interested in receiving an email when it's available can PM me. Or you can subscribe to my store's RSS feeds to be alerted when a new product is added (I try to add at least one or two new inventions every month to my shop)
