The Herbalizer

I just realized my Herbalizer did not come with the essential oils. Did they remove this from the newer ones?

Did you get a Chong's Choice model by any chance? I don't think it has the aroma therapy abilities.
No I didn't, I got one from Vapornation.com for $480, but on the box it does not list the essential oils as something that comes in the box. But many reviews online and YouTube mentioned that it was supposed to come with it. I guess they switched it out of the newer models possibly?..

I suspect that the oils were leaking out during shipping or people were inhaling the oil thinking that's what it's for. I still have my Herbalizer oil but I've never used it nor do I care for the smell. You're not missing out on much, I would look for a local place that sells fragrance/essential oils. DO NOT VAPE THE OILS.

Just had a funky thing happen with my Herbie. I was hitting her with my hydratube with the fan assist on and all was going well but when I went to turn the fan assist off at the end of my hit the fan would not turn off! No matter how many times I hit the button the fan would not turn off and remained going. I ended up unplugging the unit and now everything seems to be back to normal and working fine but it was definitely a wonky experience for me. I was wondering if anyone's had anything similar happen to them?

I haven't had it get stuck that badly. Mine has frozen on the "Limited Edition" start up screen once or twice, but it was easily fixed by closing and reopening the clam.

I was having the same frozen at start up screen occasionally at first now it is actually a rarity when it DOESN'T happen. I've done the unplug fix over and over, now that works like 1-2 times out of 10 attempts. I even bought a new power cable... issues remain. It's driving me crazy as where I live, posting out a used herbie (no matter how clean I may think I've gotten it) for warranty really isn't an option unless I'm feeling for some court time. On top of that, I left my box in NYC when I first got it as I wanted to travel discreetly (was unused then). Anyone have any fixes or solutions? It is straight up driving me crazy, and I really used to love my herbie :(.

I broke the original (straight) one...actually, it didn't break but the diffuser inside broke clean. While the hits are ridiculously bigger now, it's not as cool in temp. I have actually been able to balance and seat the broken diffuser section to its original position. Although there's clearly a gap/crack from the break, it does cool down the vapor.

With that being said, I can totally justify buying the bent one now. :)

They sure do @turk . Nothing but a material object to me so it's all good. The steamroller was on top of the Herbalizer and was being passed to someone. The passer had her foot on the AC power cord and it jerked the herbie enough to send the steamroller flying off the top...nothing more obvious and clear than the sound of glass, breaking. I was across the room and when I turned around, I expected the whole thing to be broken in half-- but, it was just the diffuser. It still works, albeit not as diffused. These steamrollers are expensive but I've been anticipating the bent one since early Dec. Glad to see it made it to market.

Hi I am new to the forum and joined for a very specific problem with my Herbalizer. I have had it for nearly a year now and purchased it from a local retailer. I recently had an accident in which I dropped the device causing something inside to make a rattling noise. I turned on the Herbalizer and was given the Herbie is sick message. I decided to take matters into my own hands and took the device apart and fixed the rattling which happened to be the light bulb. I put my device back together to find that it still displays the sick message. My question is is there any possible way to get the device to reboot so the message may go away? I would prefer NOT to send my device into Herbalizer as I will be charged. Thank you for any help you all may provide.

I will be purchasing this in the upcoming weeks. I will get it as a Valentine's Day present...to myself.

Because the most important person to love is yourself, right? At least that's what my therapist tells me.

I am so happy I can finally buy one.
You'll love it. I keep mine in the fridge for super cool, smooth vapor. Let us know what you think.

Protip: The simplest way to seal the other end of the volcano bag when fitting it to the herbalizer valve is to just twist the end and burn it with a lighter.

I used to get my weed in vacuum sealed containers that you had to cut or rip to open, and you could reseal them by burning it. I realized the volcano bag is made out of that same material saving myself a lot of time and heartache.

Enjoying a leak free vapor session right now with some headband!
How are you enjoying that Volcano bag on the Herbie valve? i just ordered a 3ft bag a few weeks ago as i saw someone using one with the stock easy valve mouth piece but unfortunately it leaks when trying to fill so i figure i'll cut the bag and attach it the herbie valve. I hope a whole trench can fill a 3ft bag. Good thing is i wont need to seal the other end as that part is already done. Watched the youtube video , seems pretty easy to install.

For folks using the Volcano solid valve and bags, I didn't see reports for leaking while filling. I am having problems with mine leaking while I fill. Any tips or advice?

I really like how the solid valve works and would like to make this my bag system.

I am having leaking bc what i was doing is just placing the easy valve attached to the stock volcano balloon on top of my bowl and trying to fill. The best way to do it without leaking is to actually attach a volcano bag to your stock herbalizer mouthpiece following this video :

I have a completely different method for using the solidvalve with the Herbalizer. It involves some Minor DIY skills, a coat hanger and a few squeeze valve pieces. I can find it if someone wants.

I thought your setup was just so you could fill bags and not hold them there. Does it help leaking too?

Maybe I'm just not assembling the bag and solid valve properly? Is it finicky to get it right? I tried a couple of new bags with the same results.
