I just unboxed the enail I ordered from High5 last week, everything was looking great :clap:until I looked at the coil...it's dirty and rusted :hmm:. Bummer, I was hoping to use my new enail!

I emailed High5 requesting a coil exchange...has anyone ever had to do an exchange with them? Are they easy to work with?

If they do not have an easy exchange process, will any other company's coils work with the High5 enail unit? Or do only high5 coils work with their units? Thanks!

Holy shit man that is terrible! I am sure they'll replace it no problem, couldn't imagine anyone trying to get away without replacing that one under warranty if it arrived that way!

Unfortunately IIRC High5 coils only work with their own units and other coils do not. Hopefully someone else with more High5 experience than myself can confirm?

Right! It's ridiculous, I can't believe it even left the warehouse that way. I'm hoping they make this easy to fix.

I really regret not spending a bit more and going with Auber or Dnail...lesson learned.

As far as I have been able to ferret out, HighFive says to not use any other manf coils, but they don't give the actual pin outs of their device in order to be able to confirm/deny/adapt.

This alone put me off of them...that, and failure to reply to a sales inquiry.

I went with Auber for a number of reasons but full professional documentation was one of them.

Cheers

Update, High5 is sending me a new coil today. I am impressed by there quick customer service. They said it looks like moisture somehow caused this.
