Discontinued Zion vaporizer

I'm stoked to see this getting completed! I've been using my Zion more and more lately...it's the shit. My daughter's boyfriend now wants one after my vape party this week. With the on-board stir stick, the stash compartment and it's ability to kill it at vaping whole nuggets, it's my best travel vape for taking it all with me in one nice package. I love hitting up the couch with a fully charged Zion and a full stash compartment...set for the whole evening!

Right on Sticks! Infact, next week I vow to stop making Milaana... because today @cannabis.pro will be taking over the build :) Today was an awesome day! This will remove the Milaana work from my plate allowing me to focus on Zion accelerating its completion. Get the coal ready cuz I know a locamotive that will quickly be building steam.

This is worth celebrating. I imagine RBT on a stage in a filled room holding up his improved and completed Zion and everyone giving him a standing ovation. Of course I have to stand on a chair because I'm short. And then that reminds me of my Dylan experience. Not going there. Maye I'll just stay on the ground and blow milaana smoke in the air towards him.

@little maggie you peaked my interest, what is the Dylan story? A Nobel story I'm sure :)

In the past two months I attended a business start-up boot camp. The 2017 plan and action list are nearly completed. Once they are finalized A high level plan will be shared publicly. The plan will be realistic as an A+ player can only commit to a success with aC+ plan... let's face it, stuff happens.

In brief, January will transition Milaana to @cannabis.pro. February will begin the quest for retailers as Milaana sales will be required to fund Zion and basic business needs. Currently sales are non-existant even with the current FC 10% discount so ramping retail will be a sizable task. Efforts will be balanced between ensuring sufficient cash flow with Milaana and completing Zion. The more effort that is required to market Milaana the less will be done on Zion. What this means Zion effort can be as much as 50% or 0% starting in March.

So, the more all of the Zion supporters are vocal against the haters the faster Zion will be completed. It's unfortunate that the trivial few worked so hard to spread hate for RBT brand rather than getting a refund if they where so impatient and angered? So, supporters rise up! Spread the word, tell them what has been accomplished with Milaana, tell them Zion is even better, spread the links the the Tube videos, sign up for for an Instagram account and promote there rather than cutting and pasting the images here.

The FC demand (20% of 1000 active users) is stellar so let's go get 20% of the greater market place... I'm not afraid of the haters... are you?

With this grand uncertainty there is no way to predict when you will get your Zion. I can say that the C+ plan suggest that based on completing 250 Milaana in 2016 the Zion pre-order should be complete by the end of 2017. However, there is a chance that it could be done by mid year if you all commit to being part of the solution and get the word out beyond these FC walls.

So rise up, act, promote, advocate for RBT on the real world. The choice is yours, expand your mind beyond the short term problem and become part of the long term solution of be a victim and join the haters. The industry view of FC labels is a bunch of hyper critical know-it-All types (let's face it, who wants @pakalolo job?) But I saw evidence in this thread early that there is a group of positive folks like @VegNVape here. If you are a hater please come and criticize so that erronious information can be corrected. If you are a supporter thanks for knowing I am fighting hard everyday to make every day to build @RastaBuddhaTao into a brand that may not serve your today but will be there for you tomorrow. This needs to be a team that works together to drag RBT into existence, not a group that hides on this thread.

I have no doubt that 2017 will be a successful year with Zion pre-orders being completed but how fast is very much in your control

I'm a huge supporter of your vapes, and will continue to be, because they are the best I've personally tried...but man, this post just comes off as rude. Are you trying to hire people here? Or are you asking us to work for you for free, with our reward being the vapes that we paid for over a year ago?

Maybe I'm interpreting this all wrong--totally willing to give you the benefit of the doubt--but frankly, it comes off as something pretty insulting to say to your most loyal supporters.

He's just asking for publicity from early adopters to get the ball rolling.

I see nothing wrong with that, but maybe I'm just kind?

RBT's post did remind me of @HellsWindStaff though, who was spewing venom earlier in the thread towards RBT, and now has picked up a Milaana. I would think his opinion would be valuable to the mass of people who love to shit on RBT

Thanks for the feedback @tblast because of you took it that way others will too so I appreciate the ability to clarify.

I Kent it exactly as @muunch took it. I am working hard to be completely transparent in order for customers to see the logic for the plan as well as the risks to not delivering. If @milaana sales pick up either through direct sales or through our retailers Vaped.com, Planet Vape and 420 EDC less effort will be required to find new retail outlets.

I don't want anyone to work for free... I am encouraging people who like the technology to spear the word. Not because you have to but because you want to.

With that said we will be rolling out a brand ambassador program in which discount codes will be provided to individuals that will be rewarded with product and payment based on sales using the code... more to come soon

How does one get some of the online vape reviewers to review the milaana? That's where I went before I found FC.

I am ready to take those ambassador cards or whatever they end up being to dispensaries in LA finally, so look forward to seeing what that program becomes soon. Good on ya for trying to get back to the old days of manufacturer transparency and glowing customer feedback that drove this grassroots movement to be what it is today (a legit business with amazing product!) It may seem unorthodox to some, but this is how you vape AGAINST THE GRAIN

(also clarifying helps, choosing language is tough since it's been a rough battle, but I think the tides are turning as we are finally getting to a place where the product is established and speaking for itself quite a bit, now we just need the users to stand up and speak for the brand to help expand beyond our little safe-space community of arrogant know-it-alls over here)

I realized that I am a bit confused- not an unusual state for me. I appreciate the "game plan" clarification but it seems like it was only a week ago or so that RBT indicated the Zion might be out very soon. I know that the HI log has added to the work load.
Is it at all possible that those of us from the original order of 20 who never got theirs could get a demo or something like that?

I should start by saying I don't own any RBT tech, haven't tried any or even seen any in real life, now that's out the way I will say I would love to jump on board as the tech seems like a perfect match for me.

I have followed these threads for a long while now, seen the good bad and ugly, personally I think some (not all) of the hate has been deserved, early on IMO attitude towards potential customers was out of line and not the right way to sell (that whole honey vs vinegar thing) things have gotten better over time and I can see that efforts are being made but for me it's not quite at the point that I personally feel comfortable handing my money over yet.

My advice (I know it wasn't asked for) would be forget about the haters and focus on what the tech can do, the little digs at the haters in posts will only make them more vocal and give them something to respond to which is what I'm guessing you want to avoid, I own multiple Vapman and Vapcap products and while this is mostly down to having an interest in the product the thing that made me keep coming back was the way the makers handle themselves, it makes me feel good supporting them with my custom.

So, the more all of the Zion supporters are vocal against the haters the faster Zion will be completed. It's unfortunate that the trivial few worked so hard to spread hate for RBT brand rather than getting a refund if they where so impatient and angered?

The choice is yours, expand your mind beyond the short term problem and become part of the long term solution of be a victim and join the haters.

If you are a hater please come and criticize so that erronious information can be corrected.

At college I have to hold myself to a higher standard with regards to behaviour/attitude than my students and I think this goes a long way to earning respect, and IMO the same goes for the manufacturer/sales person-customer relationship, so again haters are going to hate nothing you can do about that other than meet it with genuine positivity.

As I've said I can see efforts are being made and as a potential customer it's appreciated I've almost pulled the trigger a few times, but then I read the almost childish digs at people 'haters' and it brings back memory's of earlier times and turns me off.

I do hope this all ends well and wish everyone involved all the success they deserve, and that one day I will have my own RBT tech to spread the word about, but until then I'm going back to my dark corner to see how things play out, hopefully this doesn't make me a hater and please remember whether right or wrong this is just the way I see things.

:peace: :2c:

@UnshavenFish

I hope you don't mean me. I understand your point of view, but I only tagged HWS because he could clear up what changed between him "hating" and then picking up a Milaana.

My post above this one had to do with the comment of offering money (plus FREE/EARLY ACCESS) to devices to reviewers, who really don't give much good insight (usually ends at "hey it works check my sick clouds SUBSCRIBE&FOLLOW 420!!!111") and usually film on their iphones lol...

It added nothing and really I'm just making matters worse by explaining myself but I don't want to be labelled as an asshole/shill etc

I've been lucky. I missed or ignored the shitposts and decided from the positive comments I had seen to try the Milaana, ordered a Zion before that had even arrived as I had faith in the product's. From the Mi perspective I love the thing so much I'm trying to get spalted, its that good a product. I recommend it on several forums because I think that highly of it.

My experience as well. I saw a lot of hate on reddit, then came here and found actual useful info. I really don't regret my purchase at all and plan on picking up more of the product line. All my interactions with RBT have been pleasant, but I haven't dug through the threads LOOKING for a reason to hate. I ponied up, and bought the device and am blown away every time I use it and I fail to see how the "big brother" of Milaana could be worse than Mil itself.

I also am not salty about delays etc. Likely because I didn't lay out any money (or even know about the products when this was all going on) but I don't get the negative attitude about it.

I'd rather wait and have a polished, well-refined product than get some half-baked POS I'm going to need to send back.

There is also a reason that people in the videogame world DETEST preorders and will always make fun of people that waste their money on preorders, and then are disappointed as fuck when they actually get the product and are now stuck with it.

The model of "sell Milaana to fund Zion" is perfectly justified and while I feel for those that pre0rdered, don't blame RBT for not having infinite money... :2c:

edit: (you're also getting the device at like half the price that it's going to retail for, while still getting the SAME PRODUCT that the people paying double will get lol. perspective.

similar to those who were early adopters of the Milaana have the lifetime warranty and they're now 3yr warranties.)

I gotta agree that the talk about haters is a bit in poor taste, and it brings us back to the early antagonistic language that helped create those haters. This us against them rhetoric doesn't help your brand, doesn't change haters minds, and certainly doesn't bring in new customers. I agree with @UnshavenFish about keeping the rhetoric positive and about the vapes and how great they are. Focusing on the negative people isn't helping any of us.

Lets ride on the positives here. Milaana users are happy with how fantastic of a vape it is, Zion production has never been closer, and a new partnership with Alan means new and exciting vapes are on the horizon as well.

Ditto on that, I keep saying it. It sounds like sneaky pete has a unit but is unfortunately having trouble getting good results so he isn't making a review of it unless that changes.

Calm Consistency
I read every page of this thread back in February before pre ordering and was hooked from page one when I read on demand convection.

Since then I've purchased 3 milaanas as updates were made and couldn't be happier. Looking forward to getting some regulated consistency back in my life.

Hey folks. My intention of referencing the turbulence of the past and the cotrasting good old times is to remind supporters that have seemed to back away that a plan is in the works to drive Zion to completion.

Yeh, in the midst of the train wreck I said things to encourage some folks to get a refund that where petty but it was in response to disrespect. My continued message is that my lack of experience and resources coupled with some unlucky business risks being realized makes completion of Zion impossible to predict. That should be proven without doubt now. The follow on commentary has always been if you are unhappy, please let me provide you with a full refund as I don't want any of my customers to be unhappy.

@little maggie my intention was to convey that I am going the extra mile by hiring @cannabis.pro to build Milaana freeing me up in part to focus on Zion. However, if significant sales and marketing is required to sell Milaana the Zion effort will be negatively impacted. If there are 50 units to complete and each takes 10 hours a week, it will require 20 weeks to complete if Zion's are worked on 5 hours a day... or 40 weeks if worked on for 2.5 hours a day. This will all be spelled out in the plan.

I'm sure this exchange will cause some people to ask for refunds. However, I owe it to the RBT faithful to keep people informed on progress. I love the haters as all constructive criticism is valuable. @Bravesst and @HellsWindStaff are two of my favorites! I have and do fully acknowledge people have the right to be upset and can post their feelings here. I also agree that all should be respectful and have no problem telling you the customer isn't always right. My real disappointment in failing to deliver Zion is that the supporters eventually seem to hide from the haters. It feels like sometimes myself and the Z Team have been dismissed and disrespected. @MrPeanut and @thekarmawhore where so discouraged with things they left FC. But I'm still here slugging everyday to make progress in a way best serving my existing and future customers. Truth be known, the best move for RBT is to cancel Zion and refund all pre-orders. Truth be known I may not even build beyond my obligation of the pre-order. But that would make me a quitter and that's not my style. I have invested much of my life and a ton of cash in this endevor and not collected a dime so I am still "waiting for my Zion as well"

So please, continue to offer your feedback but let's stay positive and respectful so the environment here doesn't make me scared to post here. In the past other vape manufactures have decided to refrain from posting here. I am not here for business reasons as anyone here that wants my product has it. I am here to do my part to mend fences and make this a super fun place to hang out. I believe a well thought out plan that is clearly communicated here will get the train rolling in the right direction.

My apologies to anyone that was or is offended in anyway. Many thanks to all of you who believed in me and continue to have faith that in the end you will own one of only 200 Zion's that will ever exist.

Peace and Harmony to all

The problem is the Zion is a kick ass vape. My vape collection has probably doubled over the last year and includes just about every portable you can think of. And the Zion is still one I would give strong consideration to if I could only have one. I've been using it more and more lately. Whatever issues you may have, just make sure you work through them before they go on sale again because I don't think he's gonna make a second run. Get in line!
