Man these progress reports keep getting better and better! I'm so glad I hopped on the Ti train. I can't wait to give my Vapcap the old convection treatment :smug:

2017, the year of the incredible collaborations? :brow: George @VapCap and @Ed's TnT , @Alan and Ryan @RastaBuddhaTao, and cherry on the cake, @Dan Morrison cruising solo for now but on what an ambitious FC crowdsourced project... It's gonna be awesome!

And let's not forget of course you @phattpiggie and @RastaVapa from HomeGrownLogs if I'm not mistaken?

I couldn't agree more. So many innovative things are in the works! Just when I thought my VAS had settled, I'm having another attack

Hey Ed, yes I bought a dugout from you - it was the tail end of my combusting. Knew nothing of these things but I compared the dugout that I got from you with what was available in local head shops and there was no comparison in terms of build quality and quality of wood. I bought a few wood pipes from you as well that I still use once in a while when I make hash from evaporated ISO that's used to clean the grinder and glass parts. I mainly use log vapes these days and I have a few in rotation. When testing your units I would test to see if leaving it on 24/7 will cause the wood perimeter to split. I have had this happen and I have that particular vape wrapped in my daughter's hair ties (not sure that does anything but it seemed like a good idea when I thought of it.) Anyway good luck man - totally looking forward to getting one.

If God is the answer, then the question is wrong
have to restrain myself, have to overcome VAS. I do believe that a man with an extraordinary will power can do whatever he wants, and I ... :bang:

WtF @Ed's TnT are you saying we can use our precious VC (even if without its soul - the cap) as a beautiful and nearly indistructible stem for your titanic log? With the condenser installed and the cooling air mixing in too, or rather in a direct draw mode? Whatever, this is really unfair, 100 shit, how am I supposed to save money for my children education now?

George you too should be more responsible when emptying wallets, c'mon lately I was really doing well moderating VAS and your new site is a VAS starter

And worst of it, it is almost here. Good bye self control :rip: foresee a WS unit and new uni and bodies in next future..

I hate you both (in opposite day)

@Eyedunno The internal airpath and mount will be completely made of Ti, the WS stem will utilize a VC tip. That being said you will be able to use any VC a user already has with the WS, you will not use the VC cap at all with the WS, there will be no need for that.

That's awesome. Will an Omnivap work? I have one from when they first went on sale on the website, but I have to be honest, it is far from my favorite vape. So it will be nice to finally get some use out of it by using it with a log. :)

Also @Eyedunno I am going for a base domestic line of Walnut, Maple, Cherry, & White Ash.
Ack! Can't decide. Tempted by walnut, cherry, AND maple (my nano is already maple, but I love it so much that I wouldn't mind more maple). Man, if briar were an option, that would truly be amazing, like an old pipe, but I don't know if blanks of the appropriate size are out there.

I am going to let you in on what I have been up to.....

Yeah. Umm, wow? I am not in a rush but this could be "the one". Pricing is not a great concern as I look at a vape being how much per hour of operation will it cost me? Leave a log on for 2 years & it costs something like $0.25 per day if it happens to die that is still cheap in my eyes.

The real selling point of this to me besides the superior materials used is going to be the modular nature of the device & is a real easy sell to existing VapCap owners. Add in the British ingenuity of @phattpiggie & it just gets better & better. @Ed's TnT you should make a bundle with a cap included so your customers can experience the portable pleasure of a VapCap when not using the WS.

As i said wow :o.

@jimfish4130 I know right!

@Diggy Smalls Hmmm Surely not, hang in there!

Nice video Ed.
We have now an awesome heating station for our vapcap which can also serve as a log ah ah how awesome is that!:brow:

I really love the curves of the WS (and the overall Minimalistic gear) and I see that your WS has his own CCD (or kind of) at the end of the air path, is this a permanent CCD or is it removable? Any word on a heating time? Or maybe I'm asking too soon :ninja: ah ah

However, I can see the word is being spread all over, and that's great. I hope you will be successful Ed!

Cheers

Being at a stage in life where I appreciate quality over quantity this vape has everything I am looking for in a vape & some things I did not know know I wanted. When things are settled & you get in your groove I will certainly be getting one as a high end, effortlessly simple vape.

One thing that will certainly appeal to the VapCap crowd is being able to recycle their old Ti tips since the heat is drawn from the core to the tip so there should be little if any impact on vapour quality. Things just get better & better :D.

Nice video Ed.

Pretty sure you won't be able to fit the cap inside the heater due to tolerances but who knows? Well at least one guy will know ;).

Good morning everyone, wow we got a heckofa lot of sleet down here yesterday was quiet tough there and this morning all that turned to ice so pretty slippery if ya know what I mean! Hope you all have enjoyed the video and are excited about the first look, the piece in the video is a beta and not the launch style design, you can go back a page or two and see that style, I feel like the other is cleaner and less busy, I feel sometimes you say enough by not saying a whole lot at all, ya know sometimes less is more kinda thing.

@Fat Freddy More to come bro more to come soon enough!

@TheVaporist Glad you like the video bro! Now lets keep this in mind, the WS is not an accessory for the VC its a log first and foremost that a VC may be used with as a direct draw stem. It does have the filter disc in place above the heater in the airpath, there is no need to have it removed, stable is well enough. Ahhh have gotten complete heat up and ready to vape in 4 minutes bro, thats right 4 minutes wow I love that! Thanks for the kind words and I hope so as well, appreciate you and look for you to be a part of it as well!

@NizzyJones Hello there, yes sir that would be a VC tip in that stem, keep in mind all my other past stems such as the wooden Nano stems and wooden UD stems I made with the SS bushing around the heat port will work with the WS as well.

@Fat Freddy Yes sir these tips do have the adjustable filter depth settings as well so you can vape smaller loads and even do a variety of materials be it whatever you like, the user isnt just stuck to using flower in the WS, out the box you can reach temps of 460.

@TheVaporist I still have some testing to do but I feel the older VC tips will work with it also, I have a few just been forgetting to give them a go, hang in there!

@phattpiggie Woot woot you know you right Ti look out! Glad you like the cat in the sack lol, hope all is well your way bro!

@rosedale Soon enough bro soon enough!

@Stevenski Well put my man, you do know fine and well how the finer things are so worth it, I hope you will let me know when you are ready to move on one, I want to make sure you get right bro! Ahhh you aint getting that cap in the top of the port on top of the heater, nah aint going to happen!

Glassware is being made at the Lab now, all is coming together so fo sho! Wish you all the best and hoping you all have a great weekend!

@Ed's TnT -- certainly a game changer in a number of ways, not the least of which will be for those of us who've never quite gotten the satisfaction from our Ti woody's that we had hoped!

Have you determined a tentative launch date yet?

FF

I am really really hoping to do so by the end of the month, gosh I am praying so! I am into my eyeballs invested in this, so gotta get some return!

@Ed's TnT Sorry it was meant to be a joke by inverting the facts, I know that the WS will be a complete log and not an accessory, but the language barrier had killed my joke ah ah!

However thanks for your input Ed that's nice to give us that kind of details!
The heating time is great I was expecting something longer, so things keep getting better!

Keep rocking Ed, and stay safe out of the ice!

Ahhh no sweat bro, I guess I have been kinda suffering from a self imposed identity crisis kinda thing is all regarding that! Yeah you gotta dig 4 minutes bro! Just found out that 1st gen VC tips will not work, only the newer ones that have been done in house by George and his team, hope I havent gotten too many hopes up bro. Is what it is ya know!
