If you're Mighty is not browning your material properly (for seemingly no reason), ensure your CU screen is properly intact and in place.

I noticed my material was coming out fairly light, thought it was the material, but no!

I'd rather wait the extra days and pay the conversion for better value and get my products directly from the supplier... what i'm scared of is duties. will i be charged duties when coming through customs?? i'd like to ask them that question directly, but in classic S&B fashion, there's no way to communicate with them on the site... there is a button that says 'contact us' in the support section, but of course nothing occurs when you click it... thoughts??

Dude, just buy from PIU! Faster shipping than within our own borders and i've NEVER paid any customs and i've ordered Mighty's, Crafty's, and accessories from Randy....all good you will have them in about a week give or take.

I may have to taint my Mighty by loading herb directly into the bowl to see if I can get some thicker milk! I'm having mixed results with the capsules and still trying to figure it out....slower draw I think?

Lol I was going through the same with mixed feelings on the capsules. I'm not tripping out and I'm sure that the vapor is thicker with out capsules. Though it's less convenient and shit load messier. Try packing them full but fluffy with Kief in the middle. That's my goto right now. Not to compact but just right. I find helps be more efficient

oh yea, almost forgot... How comes no one talks about the capsule caddy? everyone loves the magazine but capsule caddy gets no honorable mentions. 4 capsules on the key chain. odor proof, water proof. no brainer and a must have IMO! might get 2

I picked up a capsule caddy recently. The only drawback to it I have found is managing your used vs fresh capsules. When I'm switching for a fresh capsule, I dump all of the capsules out and put the spent ones on the bottom. Not that big of a deal, just not as convenient as the magazine.

@biohacker I use the capsules when I need the convenience. Otherwise, I prefer to load directly. Direct bowls give me bigger clouds for sure. I sometimes get inconsistent results with the capsules too, for me, it seems the packing level/tightness matters a lot more with the capsules.

Yeah just did a comparison and much more milk without the capsule. as @Bomb33 says full and fluffy seems to be the best for the capsule, and that kief layer in the middle is very nice! I tried popping in the capsule when it reached 210c and the first one was super wispy but tasty, and then it starts ramping up. Better results with it inserted as it climbs to temp in terms of conduction and direct loaded is the thickest, but I notice a "blended herb" flavour at the end of exhalation.

I think like you i'll use the capsules for the convenience, or for the flavour and ability to use with mostly convection (popping it at temp) properties, and direct load for the big muzzmod bong snaps!

I bought two, thinking I could transfer spent ones to the other, but it just didn't happen, lol Next step is to try these, I think you can devise a system to put the spent ones in the opposite position? Yes loading directly without the capsules works much more consistent fur me too. Clouds are much denser and A/V is darker and more uniform in colour. The taste is noticeably tastier as well.

210c. I've experienced plenty of nasty taste when the bowl is roasting due to conduction....but it's due to my own fault.

I find that the conduction does "intensify" the flavour, but it doesn't last nearly as long as when using a capsule.....goes to that "blended herb" taste and doesn't really do proper justice to the strain like say, a Minivap that is pure convection.

Wife has ditched direct loading....says capsules are way smoother....complains that she feels like she doesn't "get anything" due to wispy clouds (she's ultra low temp 155-160ish) but she sure does get medicated!

I'm a coarse grind fan, due to better taste and airflow and most importantly for me, comfort. This results in lighter vapour clouds. On today's schedule, Mighty Medic Capsule Fine Grind testing!

I enjoy
Full, fluffy bowls, medium grind. Sure, sandwich some kief in there sometimes. Tamp it tighter sometimes.
Half bowl with domed screen in a Crafty cu.
Half or less with a Pac man screen on top.
Half bowl with pad on top, but not often.
Various gymnastics with a Muzzmod, but usually other water adapters. 90% of home use is thru water.
Capsules in the car! or anytime on the go! On a longer trip they're even easier than filling a Grasshopper.
Some honey oil on the pad or mixed with flower, or maybe in a small ball of cotton.
All of the above and more when shared with my real honey.

for quicker or solo hits, I (we) use a Hopper.

Interesting conversation. I literally detect no difference whatsoever in flavor, thickness, or quality of the vapor between the capsules and direct loading. The capsules are convenient for quick strain-changing, and keep the bowl cleaner, but otherwise...I get the same (excellent) vapor either way.

My thoughts on the capsules so far:

Pack full but lightly, do not pack down load a lot. Much better extraction when you don't try to cram too much material in.

Fine grind is better but ends up being messy if herb is fine enough to spill out capsule air holes
So I started just grinding regularly with my small space case and I don't get much herb spilling out my capsules now.

When using the capsules I use a CU with the stock mesh screen
I normally use the fine oven mesh screen but with the capsules it adds some extra restriction. So I switch out depending if I am Using the caps or not.

I don't use the caddy much anymore as with extended use the lids on the capsules become quite loose and it was easy for me to spill. The magazine works very well for me and sometimes I leave a empty space or use a concentrate pad to separate strains or full caps/empty dirty caps

Better hits without the capsules but I Noticed you can fit almost two capsules worth in the oven. So more efficient.

Also another way to do it is to take the lid off the capsule when you load in oven so then it keeps the oven clean but you get better hits.



On a side note I did my first RMA with S&B to upgrade a friends crafty and all has gone smoothly but will have taken a month once it finally gets here next week. I think I will be buying a second Mighty before I send my first baby out haha.

With my India departure fast approaching, I've officially chickened out and will not be taking the Mighty. It's really too big for shorts and I don't want to lug it around in a man purse. We'll be hiking all over the place, too. I'd probably just end up getting it lost or stolen.

Since my pampered lungs would never stand up to rigors of smoking from a chillum, I'll probably just stick to drinking bhang. I can't even handle joints any more - they burn my lungs & it feels like breathing fire.

fwiw: you could buy a dynavap Ti woody: all you need is a flame of some sort, and they're the size of a large-ish cigarette. you don't even need a grinder. I'd take that over a chillum or bhang any day.

I second @darbarikanada, in your case I will take a vapcap. If cost is an issue you could buy an OG and throw it away if you have problems (

I've a mighty and when I'm traveling, he stay at home and I bring an OG.
Although you'll win extra space for and weight, useful if you'll walk a lot

More testing last night.... tasty hits.... but very wispy and thin.... perhaps the CU is robbing me, so the muzzmod will be the ultimate test!

Wow, I've been undervaping.

I start at 185C, and finish at 195C. But this morning I raised the temp to 200C, and took a long hit. Tons of vapor. I got half a dozen hits.

Now I'm curious what temp others stop at.
