Did I get a ticket in from you today? I think I was able to answer your questions, let me know if not!
Yes! Thank you very much :) I think I'll wait for the new coils before I order the new adapter to save on shipping. I've been using it today with my mod battery.
I appreciate all your help and fast responses!

Yes, looks great! I didn't noticed it.

Using my Hercule with the Movkin Disguiser I get sometimes an "atomizer too high" message, this message is not mentionned in the (short!) user guide....
Resistance is between 2.42-2.80 and habitually around 2.62, I noticed the hotter the device the hotter the resistance, is it normal?

I noticed too the resistance is going up while hitting the device, never noticed that with coil and donuts used in power mode (yes i forgotten to say I use it in PW mode at 19W).

Any info about to use the Hercule in TC mode? which TCR and which temp is better please?

Hopefully someone who actually does it will give you more info, but I do remember them saying stuff about needing to wait for the ceramic rod in the herc to cool down before tc would work again.

I think for it to work correctly you would need the black rod. As the white rod was designed for 7.4v use and it's bumping it out of TC range for your device as it warms up.

@THC SCIENTIFIC @limbs Hey fellas, wanted to give some feedback on the replacement Nibbler AC I received today.

I owned the original Nibbler AC v1 which had a lot of issues due to the inner glass being too close to the outer. I discussed this issue at length with Sam who in turn gave feedback to G and the Nibbler AC v2 completely corrected the issue. In fact, the Nibbler AC v2 is second only to the Nibbler XL in terms of quality of glass and design.

Unfortunately last week I dropped my Nibbler AC v2 in the sink while cleaning it and the bottom skirt shattered. I immediately ordered a replacement which arrived today. However, the newer revision of the v2 I got does not have the honeycomb water trap in the mouthpiece. I'm getting noticeably more water in my mouth now and I have to both fill less and draw more slowly.

Can you explain why the honeycomb water trap was removed? It really worked well and is the same proven design from the Nibbler XL.

TL;DR Broke Nibbler AC v2. Got replacement but it has no honeycomb water trap. More water in mouth now. :(

Hey Elmoe the honeycomb was removed so that the user will reduce the speed of their inhale. It is designed to produce larger volume of vapor with the decreased air flow rate.

The O-ring less bottom insulator reminds me of the very old, pre SR series Hercules (4 or 5 "generations" ago.) I didn't know that any O-ring less 510 bottom insulators had ever been made.

The only Hercules I ever saw with a gold band were the first generation Hercules, years before my employment, when I worked at a smoke/vape shop.

Major bummer.

As I mentioned many times over the years, I felt the honeycomb mouthguard was an integral part of why the Nibbler XL worked so well (my favorite portable bubbler of all time) and why I fought so hard to get it re-introduced in the Nibbler AC after it was omitted from the Nibbler G. After using my "thin" Nibbler AC in a variety of temperatures and with some non dewaxed oils I sure was looking forward to trying the corrected, newer version Nibbler AC with less clogging & functionality more like the Nibbler XL. Darn.

I just picked up my 4th Nibbler AC (Terrible hiking incidents unfortunately claimed the life of two of them), because my v1 started clogging up constantly now that it's cold. I'm pretty bummed there's no honeycomb. Are the honeycomb versions coming back?

I was just told that the next run of Nibbler ACs will re-introduce the honeycomb at the mouthpiece.

I recently received the version without the honeycomb and haven't noticed any difference. I usually have mine filled just below or at the bottom of the UP logo and have not gotten water in my mouth when I take my nibbles.

I do think the honeycomb version looks nicer, something about how the tip has a small bulb at the base is quite elegant.

Hope to have them back in stock soon!

I'm constantly getting water in my mouth while doing cool down hits. When using water between the bottom U and the made in USA. It seems like it's just going to get worse if the new carts have better airflow. It's really kind of annoying, I wish you guys would have disclosed they were an inferior version that was on sale.

How hard are you drawing? If you draw harder during cooldown hits, angle the Nibbler so the percolator is no longer submerged and you can increase your draw. See this video I just made and the description text for some extra information.

Finally, we intended to keep producing this version of the Nibbler AC moving forward as it was deemed somewhat unnecessary to have the honeycomb mouthguard and allowed people to draw on the Nibbler much harder than anticipated. However since it seems that customers prefer the honeycomb mouthpiece, G and I had a conversation and he is willing to have them reinstated for the next batch. The honeycomb-less bubblers are not "inferior" bubblers and were put on sale with a number of other products so we could offer our customers some of our more popular products are a discounted rate for the holiday season.

I can't figure out if I can edit my last post to include some extra information.

I recently tried using the Nibbler AC (honeycomb-less version) completely vertical and noticed that I started getting splashback. If you are getting any splash, try tiling the Nibbler at a 45 degree angle with the perc facing downward and let me know if your results differ!

3 or 4 drops of Rez Block keeps the Nibbler AC v1 from clogging. My skirt broke as well so I cut it the rest of the way off and filed it smooth. Fits on the AC v2 and seals on the top two o rings. When I get time I am going to remove the top cooling fin from a v2 base so the modified Nibbler AC fits further down and contacts all three o rings.

So I got my Nibbler XL. I only have one problem. Even with the big o ring the top piece does not seal well so if the Hercules isn't perfectly clean it won't draw through it. I took one of the tiny o rings from my AC V2 base and placed that under the big o ring and now it seals tight and draws like it should. Is this a common issue @THC SCIENTIFIC ?
Otherwise I am impressed. The Hercules SR-71/Nibbler XL combo rocks!

So I thought I could bring my persei out of retirement and use it for e-juice or possibly even dry herb. I just got the upgraded unit from w9.

Are there any favorite attachments for this device with its fancy 601 threading?

Thanks in Advance!

It is not a common issue it is more of a production tolerance of the glass. We can replace the nibbler xl for you if you wish but we need the orings, nibbler xl, and nibbler xl mouth piece to see what the issue is and fix it.

Or if there is a hardware store around a slightly larger oring should work. Let us know what you would like to do.

We have the Hercules and Kiss Alpha Centauri that should work with the Persei. Do you have any of these attachments?

I will just leave the o rings as they are until I go by a store that has some good ones. It is not worth you going to the trouble of replacing the Nibbler XL over an o ring. It seems the depth of the groove in the top piece for the XL is a bit too deep. I will measure it and the base the next time I have it apart. Now that I have the thin AC base o ring under the other it is a very nice snug fit that makes a great seal and there is no way the mod and Hercules is falling out if you use the XL as a hand hold, which seems most comfortable for me when doing cooldowns.
Now that the seal is good HOLY SHIT! This thing will put you to your knees and make you feel 16 again! Lolol.

Another SR-71 tip. I see that folks have issue with the center pin coming out when taking the Hercules apart. Grab the friction fit pin at the base with a small pair of pliers and tighten the screw up real tight. I take mine apart, dip out the leaky mess of syrup in the bottom(crappy product) and put it back in the top, throw it back together and go.
A little info on this Herc to make G proud....I got it used and it has been back and forth between coasts a few times with a few different owners. It has literally had hundreds of grams through it and while it looks a little rough around the edges is is as good as new. There is no other on the market that is even close in value. Even the awesome AC v2 will cost you way more in the long run. Thought about picking up one of the sr-71's you have left for a spare but why? Lol

Oh yea I've had the Hercules through both upgrades. Its amazing and a tank built to last a lifetime. sadly it only does concentrate and since butane has gone up to $60 a case I'm not making bho anymore so it's not getting any use.

I was really wondering if there are any 3rd party attachments that folk have found useful? I would especially be interested in finding a durable e-juice attachment for it.

Make it a Great Day!

I'm doing cool down draws just like I would using my nibbler XL and I get splash back. No way could I use it with the water level all the way to the U. I mean, it works and it's a lot nicer than all 3 of my V1's so whatever I guess.

Hmm I always fill the wider body Nibbler AC up to the bottom of the U. Even the latest revision I got without the honeycomb trap works great with this much water. Just need to be more careful with draw strength.

So I believe I know the issue you are having with the top o ring. It is not to do with variance in the tube during production of the tube itself but instead during the flame polishing the end of the tube after it is cut.
If the o ring was further down on the Nibbler mouthpiece, like at the joint of the body and a slightly shallower groove then every Nibbler XL should work fine.
Any time a glass tube is flame polished like these are the area by the polish is slightly larger ID. If the others are like mine you will notice that the o ring seals just fine until you are almost all the way on the Herc.
