hello beautiful people
was posting on the mighty forum, was told to show my warez in this new thread
i am an artist known as nenmayk,my real name is worse.would like to present to you a portable stand designed and created by me and my kuzyn stash for the mighty.it is made of aircraft grade aluminum machined out of one block.there is a bottom swing out device which give the mighty even more stability.the pieced are separated by a thin teflon disc that enables smooth open and close operation.the shape of the swing decided on the name 2qan =tukan looks similar to a tukan beak ;) fruit loops :D.there will be over 40 numbered pieces that are currently anodized. the pictures are of the prototype,my private torture tested unit.not sure yet on the price, this is precisely machined to fit and not fall off.will be making a video soon
please ask if you have questions
posting all the views that i have of the prototype
much luv

I don't have a mighty so I can't really imagine the need for it, but I do like your design man! Nice, simple, clean, especially for the pics being of your prototype.. Is the part that swivels out a tight turn, so it stays put whether out or in?

thank u sir
the swivels are machine marks, they are visible in the foto but not felt...there is a teflon disc separating the two pieces so there is no metal on metal situation, moves like a bearing

By the swivel I mean the piece that swings out, is it a tight enough fit that it doesn't swivel on it's own, whether in or out? I understand the purpose of the teflon disc

the disc also keeps it tight... like a tight bearing lets say....everything is connected with a stainless steel binding post

Great gift idea for that Mighty lover in your life.
Or, if you prefer self-love, gift it to yourself.

I don't see this as competing with other functional Mighty stands out there.
This is a specialty item -- more in the luxury category: "functional sculpture"

Expect pricing will be in a different tier as well. Nothing surprising there.
Very similar to paying more for an exotic wood stem stand or pricey glass.
Said it's a limited run of 40 units, so I expect they will also be numbered like a print series.

Do you need it? Not really, but many people value design and beauty, think of it as art, and are willing to pay the artist for that pleasure. I'm in.

thank you for your kind words
Look forward to pricing, order process, and availability. Thanks...depending on price, I think I want to buy one of these.
pricing not ready yet.... transaction would be performed by paypal, thanks much for your interest :)

a image of the 2qan on the inside
it grips the mighty with 0.003 " of force to stay on and not fall off
working hard on the video

Very impressive, I might receive a mighty in my christmas stocking and this would be a good gift for my birthday coming in march.

I love how it can still read, Made in Germany.

This looks super cool honestly. My only complaint with the Mighty was that I couldn't set it vertically on my desk while using my computer. Some of the other stands look a little bare, but this looks great.
that is why it was created ..the mighty must stand ;)

looks like many andized 2qans hatched.... we will be hand stamping each piece # and signed N S
will be doing a detailed video

I do have @Ratchett stand which works perfect, but i don"t like plastic.
Ido have @Ratchett watertool adaptor which i really love to use etc. but it's all not that super smooth art look i'm after so, maybe this is were you come in.
