***Gamers*** What are you playing?

Hey fellas, can you recommend a good coop PC game to play?

Just finished Portal 2, about to play through Borderlands pre sequal.

Need something 2 player preferably and not too expansive as we are both very casual gamers. (One night a week at most)

Top of the list currently is Elder Scrolls online but i fear is too huge to pop in and out of.

All suggestions welcome and appreciated.

This website can help you find stuff, their info can sometimes be a little old and you should double check it before you buy, but it's a good way to get a list of games. You can filter by system, # of coop players, couch/online coop, and I usually add the filter for released and then sort by release date.

http://www.co-optimus.com/games.php

You can get a list of steam games based on tags like coop and even online/campaign/couch coop.
Coop: http://store.steampowered.com/tag/en/Co-op
Online coop: http://store.steampowered.com/tag/en/Online Co-Op
Campaign coop: http://store.steampowered.com/tag/en/Co-op Campaign

I play coop every Friday with a group and we struggle to find good coop games sometimes. We're doing the division right now, but I'm not sure how into we are.

We actually did play it, though we played it early on and it had a pretty bad launch. Since then it's gone free to play and had tons of updates, I probably wouldn't recognize it anymore. I did like how the combat worked, it was different from the standard mmo. One small thing I loved was how you could steal stuff. See a cool sword some guy is selling, it's only stealing if you get caught.

I loved far cry 4, coop actually sounds really fun on that. The story is a little iffy, but the main villain was fun. Gameplay is great, but I'm a sucker for this style. Open world explore the map and gain powers/weapons while you conquer contested areas until you can finally take on the main bad guy kind of games. They do a great job with fast travel too, tons of spots and you can do it from anywhere. I actually just got through playing Far Cry Primal, the caveman version of it. I really liked it and I was surprised at how much fun I had using spears, bows, and clubs. Also taming bears and sabre tooth tigers to have them fight with you is great. Sending your eagle through a village to tag enemies and drop fire bombs, maybe snipe some people or set some stuff on fire with flaming arrows, then riding in on a saber tooth tiger throwing spears and hopping off to finish the job up close with clubs and your sabre tooth tiger friend. Ok, apparently I could go on forever, I'm stopping now.

Currently playing Undertale. Incredible game, pleasantly surprising on so many different levels.

Just finished Life is Strange. Another surprisingly emotional game, really hits you like a ton of bricks when it's done. Amusingly, this is the only game I know of that actually references vaping and dabbing in-game.

Not GO I hope, game has some serious privacy issues.. I actually just started crystal on an emulator on my phone. Pretty wild, when I get mad at it I try to turn it off like an old GB.

Ive been playing a bit of CSGO and through Fallout 1 here lately.

No I am playing GO lol, thanks for info but I had heard they are fixing it :) And, while it had full access to your google account, its not like the people at Niantic are trying to log on and send emails on our behalf, they had full access but it's not like they were using the full access features. I trust that they will fix it quickly, I am honestly more sketched out about the 1000's of Wendys that could of potentially stole CC info since that was done by illicit people exploiting a flaw.

I totally get how the full access though could enable someone illicit to exploit code and compromise us, but I'm just banking/wishfully thinking they'll fix it first I guess?

I am having great fun getting vaped and drunk with my friends and stumbling around town catching Pokemon. Too much fun to be honest

Haven't played CS GO in a minute, add me on steam though "O'brien" is my name I'm in the FC Group and my Avi is George Costanza

Nintendo stock went up 60% in a week.....I feel SO stupid for not investing lol.

I wish I had an Android for the emulators, but I've replayed a bunch on my computer, great fun! There is actually like a user made one or something that is totally online? It may just be for "battles" though? Looked pretty cool when I check it out awhile back.

I liked Undertale but never got real into it, only played on an afternoon. Would like to try and play sometime, no real reason I stopped just got busy. I couldn't really get into LIS , didn't get to the part where they referenced that! Actually saw an article that referenced LIS, cracked me up they said something like, "LIS is like The Walking Dead, but with selfies and privileged teens so even more terrifying" LOL

I love TWD Season 1, Season 2 is OK, above average, but Season 1 is honestly I think in my top 10 games ever. The feels. Kenny is the best. "Maa sun's name is Duck!"

Witcher 3, so very epic. Some awesome scenery. Just a tough beginning and learning curve at the beginning so stick with it. Read on Reddit about using the bombs a lot and damn they are fun. Just look at how they turn your enemies to hamburger

I've been playing Mad Max, it's actually been pretty fun. I wasn't expecting to like it much but it's really surprised me. One of the few games that's gotten me to enjoy car combat. It's got a weird semi-mystical vibe like the movies and lot's of stuff to upgrade on your car and max. Like a lot of these open world games it can get repetitive depending on how much of the side questing you do. A lot of weird characters and odd dialogue too. Nothing amazing, but a surprisingly good game.

Thinking about going a bit old school here. My favorite games has always been western RPG's like Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind, Dragon Age (the whole series), Fallout (the whole series), Witcher 2, etc etc.
I've never played a turn-based JRPG before but I found Lost Odyssey in really good condition (used) and I'm seriously thinking of getting it. Gonna be played on a 360. Thoughts?

New copies of this game are going for 80 bucks on Amazon. It's been out of production for awhile now so I guess it's become kind of a collectors item. Crazy. What's also crazy is that this game comes on 4 freeking discs.

Have you tried looking at Game Stop? If they don't have it, they can order it.

how is the witcher 3 three? i heard you cando anything in tha famr and its fun.

It's amazing, no other way to put it! If you're thinking about playing it- I highly recommend you take the plunge! It's one of those games you'll sink your life into for a few weeks though..

I've been in an MMO black hole with Riders of Icarus.. probably gonna crawl back to WoW though since I've done everything.. What do you guys think of Elder Scrolls Online? Is it worth playing free?
I'm also moving back into Elite: Dangerous in preparation of the next few updates

I just started playing No Man's Sky. It's a great game to play while vaping. Nice and relaxing.

I've been playing Starbound, it's like No Mans Sky x Terraria x Stardew Valley.

It's real fun. There is some wonky quest line of a story, but I've just been piloting around and getting resources, gonna start building a little settlement soon on a planet I liked.

Lot of fun though, I've played like 6-7 hours and have't even left the system I started in

It's an amazing game. Good characters with a pretty good story. It can be a little grim, there's a lot of choices where every option is a bad one. Lot's of gear to find and upgrade, tons of different types of sidequests, good upgrade system, and the combat is fun. It can be a little tough, but that usually means you should be using a potion to buff yourself or a using special bomb or tactic. Graphics were great and the load times weren't bad. My brother just did main quests and went through in 20-30 hours I think. I did maybe 80% of everything and finished in at 100+ hours. That's not including the dlc. There's a lot of game there if you want to explore. You should be able to get it for a good price now too, hopefully with the dlc.
