G Pen Elite Vaporizer

Sorry but I don't understand how the titanium spaceCase 4 piece grinder can help for your issue.....with a fine grind you will pack more flowers in the bowl which is less conservative for your weed and for the taste.

If the G pen elite eat your stash maybe you can try ungrounded flowers loosely packed..although with some full conduction unit this will produce thinner vapor. In another hand I don't own the Elite.

I think you're 100% right about grinding finer resulting in the ability to pack more flowers as well as more vapor production. While I haven't tested to see if the tastes fades from a fine-ish grind--seems great tho. I'm pretty impressed with the Elite's flavor. The ceramic vs stainless steel (think pax2) might be at the root of this.

I will say that putting in less grounded flowers will also result in a slower burn. Thanks for the putting that in the discussion. I've tried a looser pack with less grounded flowers and while the vapor clouds were wispy, the result was solid medication.

The Elite vaporizes flowers well. For me, to increase satisfaction with both cloud production AND medication, I've found a grind from the SC 4-piece, tamped down with either my pinky or the poke tool they include, has provided me the best results so far. As much as they purport convection, as was mentioned in the quote above, this product's heating system is more conductive. BUT I have noticed that when I grind it coarsely, it burns slower and is slightly convective. Meaning, breathing in after its reached the desired temp in a LSD (lighter than a fully packed chamber) provided me the best results.

As @Mr. Me2 has brought up, a pusher or bent screen would be the next best thing for me to improve my Elite. I don't have anything of the sort lying around unfortunately. But I'm fairly certain that, with a finer grind and pack (thus, utilizing a conduction style) of 0.2g (pretty small pack for this chamber), a screen or pusher would greatly benefit. I think because when it's low and fine in the chamber, if you don't get a nice air puck then the vapor is reduced.

Hope this makes sense.

Does anyone know whether the screen on the mouthpiece could be removed for proper cleaning? No matter how long you leave it in iso, the back part of it cannot be cleaned properly in any case...

Overall, how's this vape for you guys? I don't see any postings and of course, for some reason is still in the upcoming section....

can and should have a distance in between :p have you tried it yourself? I'm having difficulties in taking it out. I think it may need some little tools maybe to press the two side holes so that it gets released. Otherwise, it must be done with some additional force and I don't want to end up with a broken mouthpiece..

:) this is true. Sorry for the ambiguity.

Exactly. Be careful when removing for the first time. There is an obvious open slit on the top for the screen to slide up and out of the mouthpiece. I used a pick tool and, with the needle/sharp point of the pick inside of one of the centermost holes on the screen, push the screen straight upward at 90 degree angle. And yes, with a little bit of force. Obviously if its not wiggling with you might want to start the pushing over again...Additionally, it helps when the resin gunked around the seal (most likely not visible) but I believe that + factory build is what makes it difficult the first few times (1st time is the hardest). I also have had success using a regular sewing needle. Good luck!

Since G Pen is only rebranding items I bet the 60$ unit you found is the same that G pen is selling.

hmmm you sure?
It's clearly not the same unit, I was using my friend GPen elite for weeks when I saw the Ripoff on DHGates for 60$ shipped! I give it a try... Pure garbage, he look and heat as fast as the OEM, but taste horrible and gave me headache every Time I use it, even after multiple sessions! I put that vape where he belong, the garbage.
The ceramic oven in the elite stay white after multi session and when dirty, a bit of ISO make it new!
The oven of the ripoff stain after one session, and was impossible to wash !

many thanks man!! I'm super excited that I just properly cleaned the screen.. I was really getting upset about it and plus the fact that consumption with the G pen is significantly increased, this was an extra reason to leave it aside for a bit and get back to my lovely lotus.
Another thing that probably clogs up the screen is the fine grinded herb. The more you grind it the more it gets clogs and you have to blow the mouthpiece every now and then so that you can inhale properly and with no extra resistance.

I'm liking my Elite so far, but the display has dimmed to the point of being unreadable. Anyone else have this problem?

What does that mean?
This looks like a fantastic vape for the price point. I'm looking into getting this or the Vapium Summit Plus model that just came out recently. Does anyone know how the long term reliability is for the G Pen Elite? Also, this thread should be moved out of upcoming models since it has been available for quite some time now.

There's nothing elite about GPens. Same old low quality shit.

Yeah this vape isn't a game changer at the price point. You can get similar performance from a 40$ Titan VS3 from China that several users have tested and confirmed safety and good vapor production. And if you're more on the side of convection you're even better off, as you can get a safe vape called the Weeke Fenix/Convector from everyonedoesit.com for 50$ Shipped and it's about 60-70% convective in its heating. I would also rather have the boundless vaporizers at the price point as G Pen has a horrific history with customer service and essentially set the standard for scam artist American "vape companies " that sell Chinese vapes and hype them up with celebrity marketing and bullshit claims about their effectiveness. Honestly, the summit isn't a very good value either from what I know of it. If you just want conduction vapor that can be had for very, very cheap these days.

not really..how long do you have it? Do you fully charge it every time you leave it on the plug? Leave it there until the display stops charging.
Other than that, my display is crystal clear after 3-4 months of some use, not very heavy one.

There's nothing elite about GPens. Same old low quality shit.

I haven't used any other GPen products but compared to other similarly "cheap" vapes, GPen is not good.. I'd rather have waited a little bit longer than buying it.. And as long as I still remember that the period I bought it the Arizer Air was on sale for around 40-50E more than the Gpen, I'm getting really upset...:bang::bang::bang:

For those of you who have one/have used one, I've got a question. I just picked up a brand new Elite for $50. I know for sure it's not counterfeit, I confirmed the serial# with Grenco.

I've got an Underdog that I use 99% of the time, and my only other vaporizer is a cloudV phantom premium (I got it before I had any real idea about vaporizers:shrug:). My question is should I keep the Gpen Elite to use when I want to take something portable with me, or should I just move it on and look for something better? Basically, is it worth keeping?

Thanks!

I like mine, and I think it's a great vape. What I think about the G Pen Elite is that it is aggressive, it heats fast and hard, so it also degrades the flavor very fast, but it also produces more vapor than the others that keep the flavor longer.

Hello, I have a new G Pen Elite, but I consider the charging much uncomfortable. G Wall adapter would be good option for me, but there is no EU version... So I need an alternative charger, but I don't know the volt and ampere information. Is there somebody who has it and can tell me? Thank you
