Dynavap VapCap Shipping Discussion

Placed an order on 9/6. Ti Woody S, dynastash and some o-rings. I was hoping the delays would have blown over by the time I ordered, but I guess the wait will be longer than I thought.

I might just order an OG from PIU in the mean time. Some of these wait times you guys are talking about...wow.

Good things come to those who wait...

But go ahead and get that OG too, it's a beast and a downright steal at that price. Add in the super fast shipping of puffitup and it's a no brainer!

I originally ordered a Ti cocobolo and but they had run out of cocobolo and were awaiting the next shipment when I ordered, and then I saw the carbon s, which naturally I just had to have. The next day I came across the omni carbon, and once again I had to work with Matt to change my order, the poor soul. I'm sure I gave him quite a headache changing my order that many times lol

But now that it's all fixed, my order status has officially changed to completed yet I have not received any email with tracking info. Should I pm @VapCap or does it take a little to go from completed to receiving a tracking number?

Check your junk mail! I just checked my junk file and found my order processing and order completed emails! Still no tracking number tho:hmm:

Nope, no emails from dynavap. When I check my account, still says processing. I knew there was a delay on some of the exotic woods, but an OG VC? Shouldn't those always be in stock. Funny, I ordered a Vapman on the same day as the OG, and that vape made it already (from Switzerland even).

Send them an email, if your order is just an OG it should have gone out long ago.

I just left this thread after receiving my order a couple weeks ago, now I'm jumping back in. It won't be for long though.

I placed an order this morning for a carbon body for my omni and an OG and it shipped in just under three hours. I'm very pleased with that turnaround time, sorry it's taken so long for you @syrupy.

Thanks, I just sent them an email. I have another order for a Ti Woody, but depending on how the OG order goes, I may cancel it. I get a little apprehensive when a vape has it's own shipping thread. Usually a bad sign...

Luckily, the vapman is taking up the slack in the meantime...

That's way fast! Did you already receive the shipping email for that as well?

Are the delayed orders happening because of a shortage of parts, like orders with wood bodies, exotic mouthpieces and so on?

I ordered a Ti Woody S, exotic mp and dynastash. It's been processing for a little over two weeks now and I know that's nothing compared to others here. Just curious.

I think the reasons are various. My OG order was delayed because there was a dynastash too, and apparently some shortage of magnets. I'm told the wood for the Ti Woody S had some delay also. I don't mind waiting as long as I know why.

Yeah same. I have an OG already so I'm okay, but I was getting curious. I got a quick response from Matt and he explained as much. Shortage of wood bodies for the Woody S in my case. Supposed to ship out next week if all goes as planned.

May 8th, checking in. Order #1812

I received my Omni order from 5/31 today, it shipped along with my recent OG ordered during the promotion. Omni was part of a larger order along with a wenge Dynastash, blackwood VonG body, and Ti Burly that was later changed to a Ti Burly VonG in July. I was told this change would not affect shipping date.

This is the first vape mail I've received where instead of happy, I'm just... irritated. Try as I will, can't shake it. Seems the only reason I got the Omni after three months of waiting is because I took advantage of the promotion on the OG, had I not I would still be waiting for who knows how long. The other items on that order that have not yet shipped are not exotic, excepting the burly vong.. and even that specific item I see people who ordered well after me receiving theirs.

It sucks but I've been soured on reading through one of my favorite threads because I can't help but notice others' order and ship dates in relation to mine. I'm still genuinely happy for people getting their orders but am increasingly frustrated at not getting my own. Four months to get my first incomplete green envelope; the only reason I've had a Dynavap product at all until now is because I jumped on the PIU release.

I've pondered whether I should just cancel remaining orders but have always talked myself off the ledge. Maybe I could go back to enjoying the thread with no expectation, that way. It's a great product made by great people that I don't want to bitter myself on, maybe I should revisit when more available. I'm gonna sleep on it. As is, the green envelope has been shoved in a drawer until I can affect a different mind-set. Apologies for any negativity but it is honest feedback on my experience.

Pulled the plug on remaining Dynavap order. It get's really old watching generations of people new to the product ask questions, learn about, order, and receive the same exact items I've been waiting on for several months in a matter of just weeks or even days. I feel I've been pretty damn patient; it would be different if everyone was in the same boat regarding lead times on orders.

Politely requested cancellation 9/22, no reason asked nor given. Partial refund invoice sent to email following morning 9/23, Matt explained bulk of order was too old to refund and that George would address situation later that morning. 9/27 still nothing, reach out to Matt again. 9/28 receive email from George that a check is being mailed, this time I receive no refund invoice reflecting what has been refunded. At this point I'm waiting on a check of unknown amount, I've spent considerable time with all of this and know what to expect. I'm hoping the amount matches and that I am done with this whole thing. After physically depositing a check, that is, something I haven't had to do in years.. there has to be a better way, seems a bit archaic nowadays but no biggie.

I've seen Dynavap described as a company who under-promises and over-delivers, this unfortunately hasn't been my experience in this instance. That said, I can't help but like George and Dynavap, I love my Vapcaps. I hope they flourish as a company and might even still consider buying their products in the future.. products that are stocked and ready to ship. Maybe PIU will be the way to go for me, if needed in the future

It's too bad that it didn't work out for you, I feel bad. I don't know what went wrong, I ordered a wenge Dynastash and Burly VonG in early August and got them in three weeks. Even if they were waiting on the Blackwood VonG they should have shipped the other items with your Omni.

Dynavap is a great company but I guess nobody is perfect. Hopefully everything works out with the check.

I noticed :nope:

Lol, nah, it's all good! You're one of my favorite posters, we seem to haunt the same corners- except you went nano, I went UD. I was sincerely happy for you while simultaneously annoyed at my situation.. quite the balancing act for my brain. You have great taste, btw ;)

I don't think my experience is representative of the brand and probably would not have posted the most recent entry if not for the former posts. Thought I should update for posterity.

Thanks for the kind sentiment

Thank you for posting this. I know where all of us stand in regards to George and co. and dynavap, but your experience, to me, deserves more attention than all of the happy and appreciative stories. Seems like a very reasonable response on your part. I would be really frustrated and when it comes to vaporizing and medicating, frustration is the opposite of what you want.

I'm at around 3-4 weeks waiting at the moment, but I did get a sound explanation for the delay. A Ti Woody S, dynavap and some extra o-rings. I'd like to hear about other people's situations.

I am new to this forum and to vaporizers, so maybe my thoughts don't carry as much weight as some of the more experienced members. From my newcomer perspective, George seems like a curious explorer who is out there breaking new ground and making incredible discoveries, but the base camp he's doing it from isn't the most efficient or secure.

Like everyone else, I dig the posts about new products and updates, but I can't help but think that same energy and attitude should be applied to improving the website interface and communicating about issues with customers. To me, the quality of the product is a clear step (or two) above the ordering experience.

I'm with you on PIU. I would recommend people to purchase through them without hesitation. I hope everything gets resolved for you and hopefully the guys at dynavap take care of you.

Finally, in regards to depositing a check, nowadays a lot of banks have apps for your phone where you can mobile deposit by taking pictures of the check. I haven't physically deposited a check in a long time as well.

You have great taste as well, in both vaporizers and glass.

I will eventually get my own Underdog, I was just eyeing them up yesterday actually. They have a nice sale going on.

Ed's Vapor Bomb will probably be my next log, eventually I want one of each, and a more exotic E-Nano. :worms:

@VaporChase
I agre about Puffitup. I decided to quit preordering so I was holding off on joining the VapCap party. When PIU had the Omni in stock it was exactly what I was waiting for. I liked the Omni so much I decided to make an exception and place an order with Dynavap. It wasn't quite a preorder because I already had a VapCap, or at least that's what I told myself.

I agree about the website too. I think it is a fairly obvious problem as many people come to the thread for help placing orders. Even though I now own several models the configurations can still be confusing for me. Thank god for helpful posters like @Squiby, George should just go ahead and hire her already!

Just checking back in - I had two outstanding orders;
7/15, Ti Blackwood, VonG, torch - received 9/15
7/18, Omnivap, torch - received 8/27

I had no expectations as to shipping status for either, and was surprised to receive the 'preorder' omnivap first. Communication was minimal on either end, i received order confirmations, then order status changes, then shipping notifications.

No complaints.
