Is anyone else's SBJ heat intake extremely hard to swivel? The MP feels fine and works smoothe but I have to really use some strength to move the heat intake.
Nah mine seems just right, omg bakeville here.... On the go the glass mouthpiece is a bit too much for me

This pic is making me want to take my b-ju and dog down to the beach this weekend. I haven't tried it outdoors yet.

What's up with your intake glass on the BRick?? Is that a custom one?? @Vapor_Eyes
The first 50 or so people to order a Junior from the Sticky Bricks website got a free pre-production heat intake. The intakes weren't nice enough to sell so instead they gave them away.

Personally I think it looks fine, but the new ones do look better. The Junior is one snazzy looking vaporizer all around.

Nice mod and nice picture

How does it work outside? IME butane vapes are generally complicated to use outside in a sunny day (flame invsible) wondering about SBJ

Here's a couple silly mods I've tried:

RJ6dNE8.jpg

14mm male to male dropdown. This one is fun as a Sherlock-esque mouthpiece. You get a little smoother vapor and maybe a little bit better visibility of vapor. It doesn't work as a water adapter, at least not without further modification. It makes me want a dedicated Sherlock/J-Hook attachment. :sherlock:

This one was just for fun:

jM7GaNk.jpg

That's actually the heat intake from the Brick with a 14mm male banger. The Sticky Rig Junior?

This is surprisingly functional, but I usually have better options for concentrates. Still, it's fun experimenting! :D :science:

I just spun the mouthpiece around, tx @Shit Snacks . Holy hellhole! Cooler, better taste. My biggest problem is getting too high. Does anyone else have this problem? Medication level = 10. Nice to have that option, but even I need to be careful. I'm used to an awesome vape that packs a punch. Now I have a "one" "two" punch that can take me where I sometimes need to go. And I still am pretty clueless, trying to let instinct be my guide. Thanks @StickyBricks for this awesome experience.

Many vapes & accessories. Always happy to help
@Bravesst Fantastic to read you're liking the Junior my friend! Can't wait to have it in my hands. Maybe a week from now, I can report on this... Really looking forward to playing with my little Junior buddy. Tide me over with some of your great user/usage reports. Hope you stick with this (pun intended)- too many have died crossed thru :p

Enjoy pal!

When I went out yesterday I had the same concern about using outside in public, so I packed my Alfa too. But I was able to use the Jr with ease just rotate flame on the glass flare for 6 to 12 seconds. Of course it takes time to get use to taking it apart to mix bud during session. Funny thing was my packed Alfa's battery was dead so I emptied half in the Jr and I was ready to roll again. One more reason to own a Brick Jr...

A side note, the taste really shines with the pungent white fire og, whereas berry flavors such as blue dream don't quite match the flavor I get from my Mighty. That said Jr is still top notch on overall taste as long as you don't over flame.

One more thing, I do believe you can conserve your herb well with the Jr as it doesn't require very much to produce nice clouds, especially in the sun haha!

Cheers and congrats Sticky Brick Labs!!!!!!!!

thank you all for the warm welcome! and big thanks again to @StickyBricks for the (literally) immediate PM once I posted my questions on conditioning. My original walnut Brick is looking brand new!

loving the Jr just as much as its Sr. Haven't had a chance to take it on the go yet, which is where I'm really stoked for it.

is their a different in performance comparing the junior and sticky brick ?

I'd say performance is pretty similar, with an edge in coolness/harshness and bigger hits to the Sr. That said, I'm getting huge hits out of the Jr partially because of the size. The Jr also seems super conservative on herb as well. I couldn't live without either (and once the Hydro comes out my SO is going to kill me), but if portability is a concern grab the Jr first and you'll be more than satisfied with using it as home as well.

The eagle has landed.. and I'm on the moon

Okay, she actually landed Thursday, as expected. I've been burning the candle at both ends lately and just now have time to post my appreciation for this beauty. I had a really long day Thursday, literally and figuratively, and one of the things I've been excited about with Jr was immediately appreciated, that being the ability to liberate myself from batteries for my portable needs when desired. All too often when getting vape mail this time of year, it's added stress trying to coordinate with the post in order that devices with batteries don't bake in the oven that doubles as my mailbox. For once, I was able to not worry about it even with the heat we are experiencing.

Despite feeling just beat both mind and body, and the late hour, I had zero apprehension diving right in with a new vape.. and, man, it was just like seshing with a favored old friend instead of a new one. Zero learning curve, coming from the Brick. I had tempered my expectation slightly for Jr, mainly in light of just how much I love Sr but could not have been happier after the first few tasty draws, pretty sure I was grinning like an idiot. The maple definitely seems less aromatic than my cherry Brick, that's a positive or negative, depending on your preference. I love the extra signature of the cherry, personally.

Other than switching to my Vapman lighter's narrower flame and known butane instead of the Scorch torch normally employed for the Brick or the Eagle, I did not alter my technique at all and couldn't have been happier with the resulting vapor and perfectly even ABV. It feels great in the hand and I love the shape, rounded for the hand yet stands on all sides. The Brick brand looks outstanding.

I stared at it and couldn't readily think of anything I'd do or add other than maybe a mp incorporating a dedicated 14 male, a la @Vapor_Eyes' post a few back- another stunning pic, Vapor_Eyes, think you found the only thing that could top the Ti Burly/recycler combo! I already use some glass with 14 male as mp and it's comfortable for me, the instant water adaption would be cool for adventures in the wild or jaunts to a friends.

Could be the VAS talking but I feel it really does fill a niche in my collection; I love my other butane vapes but Jr is special and will get me where I want to be in a fraction of the time as the others. Bonus, I can now order company to "hit da bricks". The ergonomics are slightly trickier than it's bigger bro but not bad at all.

So, needless to say, add my voice to the chorus of praise directed toward Sticky Brick Labs and the beta testers- you guys crushed it with this one both in form factor and functionality! Thank you from a very happy customer

I'm a bit OCD and like to keep the mouthpiece clean on the Junior. It's not so much about the cleanliness, I just want to see that milky vapor in all of its glory!

Introducing my new favorite mod:

E4N3G7g.jpg

B74nMxS.jpg

Combination wood stir tool and mouthpiece cleaner. Give the mouthpiece a quick wipe after every hit or two and it keeps it looking so fresh and so clean.

These long wood cotton swabs are fairly common and easy to find. I got mine on Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/SE-CS100-6-Cotton-Wooden-Handles/dp/B002V0ZY2Q

I cut it 1/4 inch longer than the stock stir stick so it has a longer reach into the mouthpiece. I tried a half inch but that made for a snug fit when the lid is on, so when you remove the lid the swab would come out too.

Like just about everyone else, I got my SBJ on Thursday and have been loving it. As a log user who prefers not to keep vapes on at all times, I'm really liking on-demand convection.

Spent the morning modeling this up as a tribute:

@StickyBricks lemme know if you have any use for an SBJ model for user documentation, instructions, etc. I'm happy to help :D

What kind of customers are you all?? The freakin best ever! Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. We are so happy with the response so far and just completely flattered that anyone would make pics/photoshop using SBL, let alone a model to use on our instructions. @snackmaster I'm literally blown away by that pic and offer. "Thank you" does not seem sufficient for everyone's support.

Vapes R Great
Just ordered two pen style torches off fast tech somebody had posted about but I forgot who/what thread haha. So thanks to whoever that was!

Used at least a gram or two yesterday learning the big brother Senior Brick. Scorching loads a lot still. Got some mids laying around just for testing purposes haha. My eagle torch is more the issue I think. Once I get a nice one I will be good to go. Woulda posted is in the Brick thread but it is dead in there cuz everybody is partying in here! Haha

Might take the brick to the park today. Gotta master the technique before Junior arrives!

Also gonna make a gangster rap playlist of any songs about Bricks lol.

Beautiful picture! It's nice to see the Junior in natural surroundings. Hopefully I can get some nature shots soon.

I love the grain on your spalted maple, that is one beautiful Junior! I guess they all are beautiful but still, nice specimen!

I didn't realize it could stand on all sides, nice observation. It can even stand upside down with the lid on.

Wanted to try it through water so I used @Ratchett 's universal song adapter and it worked perfectly, as is tradition.

That model is beyond beautiful. I love the thick lines and you did a great job capturing the top bevel. That's a really nice design detail on the Junior and it's hard to photograph it. Your model accents it well.

It's only right that the best company ever has the best customers ever! I'm glad the launch was a success.

Seriously though, you design and build top tier vaporizers, provide unparalleled customer service, and perform product launches that go as smooth as a hit from something Sticky. Is there anything you aren't good at?

I'm honestly kind of in awe at how you rolled out the Junior. In just over a month after the beta reveal you implemented design changes and still managed to reach your projected release date. And the actual launch on your website was even smoother than the venerable Puffitup. It sounds like they ran into a few snags on their website. Not to knock them, I think they're another great company deserving praise. You couldn't have picked a better retail partner.

Edit: I'm embarrassed to have forgotten to mention @Slow Draw McGraw, he's a valuable member of the team and beta tester extraordinaire.

I just have the worst luck lately.
First, thanks Randy for the goodies and fast shipping.
Unfortunately, my brick jr has a crack in a pretty bad place. The pics pretty much tell the whole story. I think the location of the crack is making the unit not feel sturdy when disassembling/reassembling. It goes through the screw and washer area all the way to the oven, and it gets a little smaller or bigger depending on how pressure is applied.

I had a gut feeling walnut might not tickle my fancy. Like my Walnut FW3 (though not enano), the walnut taste overpowers the material, and to me walnut can taste very acidic/like vinegar. I used something extra terpy but all I tasted was walnut. I could get over that though, and I definitely wouldn't return something when I knew the risk going in.

Lastly, stupid question, but you aren't supposed to cover that smaller, lower hole on the side are you?

Glad you are enjoying brother, I knew you would appreciate this next level signature, I too use my Jr and Daisy as the quick heavy heady hitters, now you just need to get a big Brick too (and/or maybe three more Jr's? lol)
