How do you vape in public?

I don't vape mmj when out, I just vape some flavored e-juice in my Pico. Due to my husband's back issues and cars, I usually wind up driving, at least home, so I basically don't toke up when I'm out. I did have an edible last night before we went to dinner, since we walked there and back. Best dinner and dessert (MAN THAT WAS GOOOOD CHEESECAKE!!) I have had in a really long time. Then I slept like a baby.

I'm with you, Esmeralda! I don't generally walk around vaping (well, don't at all) but going out to eat when baked is why I'm desperately trying to lose 15 lbs! LOL

I'm not very obvious with my vape - I'm not flashing it around. If there had been a lot of people I would have put it away. Luckily there were very few people close by.

We are a legal state but it's a small fine using cannabis in public. I wouldn't be taking risks - not the fine but the embarrassment. The Air looks like an ecig device, it's nice and small and can be put in a pocket easy enough. Not much smell either. Nobody even noticed.

Using good judgement is required.

If I walk down my street I pass three houses which smell like they are growing, occasionaly when it's humid or I assume they are chopping it gets pretty strong.

The same goes for most streets around me, I'll also usualy notice somebody waljing along smoking a spliff on the way to the shop or Sat in their garden. So if I'm walking the dog in the evening I'll usually have my vape.
I have come accross police a few times walking and I'll just turn the vape off, take a last pull on it to kill any smell and slip it in my pocket.

They aren't going to hassle me for <0.3g of mostly vaped bud lol, i don't think they care much

I like to vape in the middle of a dance floor in a small club and watch the security going crazy looking for the cause of smell

Last week I used my Pax 2 on the summit of Pikes Peak. The old tourists likely had no idea what it was, the Manitou locals certainly didn't give a damn, and literally everyone had something better to look at than me - it's the motherfucking summit of Pikes Peak.

Now that's a Rocky Mountain high.

I've been vaping in public few times with my Flowermate 5 Pro (which looks like an e-cig), always trying to be as stealth as possible.
Few of those times was in the park, just sitting on the grass with mates or playing some games. Obviously I prefer doing it when people are not around, but keeping the temperature low will keep the smell to the minimum.
Also vaped once with a friend in a very populated area, while walking on the street, and no one seemed caring about what we were doing.
I live in the UK and here seems that most people just don't care about it. Had friends next to me smoking J's in the park surrounded by old women or dads playing with children, and never heard about troubles for them.
:peace:

I was hitting my Grasshopper today watching a random person hit their E-Cig and it suddenly occurred to me that the key is one handed use.

Most members of the general public think one-handed units are just e-cigs. I act like it's just another E-Cig and I have nothing to hide.

The key is to avoid "stoner's posture" hunched over with both hands near your mouth:

I don't necessarily have a desire to vape in public just for fun. As a medical user it is very nice to have the ability to medicate in public in a stealthy and discreet manner.

I'm not trying to get super stoned in crowded areas or act disrespectfully in any way. Just a hit or two to top off once in a while.

I am trying to come visit CO soon and may go to Pikes Peak. I heard there is some kind of railway ride, to the top??
Any idea if that is worth it, or is drive car to top? just as nice?

Thanks

There is, the Manitou and Pike's Peak Railway, a historic cog railway to the summit. I would definitely recommend it, there are very few railways like it in the world and if you drive you can't exactly gaze out at the view. The railway also has a tour guide who will point out important sites along the way and provide some history. They even let you pull down the windows for better camera and binocular use. Just a tip, try for seats on the three-seat side of the train, you get better views on that side.

Entrance to the railway is in the same vicinity as Barr Trail and the Incline so if you're into trails those will be WELL worth checking out (just don't underestimate them!).

If you're in the Colorado Springs area, don't miss Garden of the Gods either. A little touristy but literally anyone can "hike" here even in a wheelchair and the scenery has few equals on earth.

Just in general I can't say enough nice things about the area. Almost everything there is worth doing.

I'm sure as hell blowing some clouds with my Grasshopper. ;)

I do like to hold it in for a few seconds before exhaling so that could possibly give me away but most people aren't that observant or just don't care.

The other day I was hitting my vapcap while walking down the street when I realized I'm one block away from the police station. I only realized that after the two police cars drove by and one cop waved at me. lol Talk about awesome. And no, it's not legal here.
That said, I don't know just yet that it would always be my go to outdoor, as you are not stealthy at ALL heating it up. Just thought others might enjoy the fortuitous tale. :)
