Once you tried hash/shatter/oil/edibles , do you ever go back to buds?

I have had almost zero desire for concentrates since grabbing the supreme. It is a dab with herb for all I care regarding flavor, power, etc. All there.

Still have concentrates sitting for a couple months now, and plenty of material to process. Just lack the desire at the moment.

I use buds for relaxing, when I can sit back, hit a log, and not worry about the room stinking of gorilla glue.

When I'm out of the house I use oil exclusively with a modified e cig. It's the only way I can get stoned quickly and discreetly in the company of others without them noticing.

Yeah, it really depends what I'm medicating for and how long I have to do so. If it's the weekend it's flowers most of the day, maybe a little concentrate before bed if I didn't make the switch from sativa to hybrid to indica early enough with the flowers.

Weekdays, I've usually got plenty of work to do, and sometimes a quick hit of bud is enough, but other times concentrate is where it's at for the speed of it if I am being distracted by the pain without it. Only problem is the solution for the pain is itself a little distracting, but much less so than the pain on bad days. Good days it's a bit of flower and work through the pain, bad days it's some flower mixed with some wax and then work through the high. Then in the evenings for sleep it depends on what I consumed that day, if there's been concentrate usage during the day flowers will usually take too long that night. I try to stick to the minimum effective dose, but for some of my medical problems that minimum dose is not very low. Ofc I have some friends who have problems almost as severe as mine and can vape any of them under the table so unfortunately my tolerance is a bit high, unfortunately t-breaks aren't really an option, but on good days, and sometimes less good days if I don't need to get much done that day, I'll usually wait until the late afternoon and I find that for me that rolls back my tolerance a bit. I also frequently switch what strains and types of strains I'm using to avoid strain specific tolerance.

I just got the chance to try some concentrate. Great stuff but....I barely use it.

I enjoy the ritual and taste of herb based vaping so much more. It's more enjoyable and more relaxing for me.

Vaping herb is a kick my feet up and chill kind of thing where concentrate is a kick my feet out from under me kind of thing.

Said another way...concentrate for me is like..... WOOHOO!!! Herb is like.... Just Chillin.

I thought concentrates would never be for me. Then I tried them...turns out that I enjoy the effects quite well, however I have been enjoying g them a little too much lately and need to start working on lowering my tolerance, as daily dabs really skyrocket it.

I love concentrates but for me, I need to keep them in their place which is not....at this time...daily.

My spinal stuff is worsening with age so maybe someday I will want to be hitting those concentrates everyday and all day. But right not I'm trying to limit my cannabis consumption to evenings and limit concentrates to weekends only.

I'm doing this to try to manage my tolerance and keep as clear a head as I can during the work week. I have a job that often requires clear and quick thinking and unlike some others I just don't function that well still 1/2 baked on concentrates. They tend to leave me a bit groggy until middle of the next day.

NOW....my state is just going med legal and I have just gotten certified but there are no dispensaries yet open. When I have selection and choice, I may find something available that would change my mind. But right not its mostly outlaw crap that I get and no telling what is really in there.

I don't have easy access to concentrates at this time. Even when I do have concentrates, I try to limit their use simply for tolerance reasons.

I have to admit I like them a lot, I find them more convenient and it is definitely faster to reach the desired effects. Because it is so potent, I can load enough concentrates in a small amount of organic cotton to equal several chambers worth of flowers. Then I don't have to constantly reload, and there is no need for stirring either.

I get slightly different effects from each, sometimes I just need that flower feeling, but I usually get a more clear focused effect with concentrates that works really well for me most of the time.

I use all of the above..
Same as the way I keep different strains available to medicate.
Change is good and each form of Cannabinoid substance has a different effect... speed of effect as well as duration of effect.
Quite a few patients comment "I think I am going to switch to concentrates" and visa versa.
They get rid of herbal units and switch to Oil Rigs, and the other way around.
I personally never understood that absolute type of thinking when it comes to medicating.
I might change up in middle of day from herb to wax... and back
I have days when I eat candies, vape herb, and do a dab 3 or 4 times in between.
There is no need to "Go Back to Buds", when you never left them.... Bud will find it's way back to you.
If you switch to dabs, after a while your throat might appreciate the change back to bud.
sometimes I just need that flower feeling
me too.
I enjoy the ritual and taste of herb based vaping so much more.
The flavors associated with bud are so pure... straight from the source.
One comparison might be to the scent of Old Barbados Dark Rum from a Barrel with sediment in each glass...... and then smelling Silver Bacardi with it's super cleaned up smell.
Keep your choices open.
No need to be too undivided in your choice or to make a final decision.
It is 10:00 a.m. here.
I have eaten 3 caramels to avoid nausea, and got relaxed well... before I did a hit from the evolve Plus, then a Yocan Torch hit. I juiced some veggies (spinach/carrot/bell pepper/celery/ginger) then did two regular sized Volcano bags.
It's one of those days for me to not be so absolute in my thinking.
I am not a weed guy
I am not a wax guy.
I am a THC/CBD guy.

Lots of people 'go back to buds.' And a lot of people find that they need both concentrates and bud for the full spectrum of benefits.

This is probably the primary reason I've never given the flowers up. I dab in the daytime and do a bit of both at night. A nice hybrid flower gives me such a nice broad buzz that I prefer not doing without. That's the kind of high I need to combat insomnia and pain. The spectrum of benefits is probably variable depending on what kinds of concentrates are used (i.e. BHO, rosin, bubble hash, etc.). I also love buds and the ritual that comes with it. I do dab very small.

I don't use edibles. My tolerance has made those way too expensive to be an efficient way to medicate for me, I think. Since I like vaping so much and dosing that way is so much easier anyway it also makes that the more desirable delivery system for me.

Since rolling off an SSRI bud is giving me a rough ride in the head space. CBD rich bud less so, tho it still drifts from where I want it. Not deep into advanced concentrates, but finding kief and hash are pushing the right body buttons while keeping my head in check and under control.

Won't give up bud, but being more selective and thoughtful about how I use it.

my number one reason is probably just cost. I go thru more dollars of medicine using just concentrates or edibles. And i don't prefer them enough to justify the cost.

This^^ I like to take a couple of dabs with an Enano stem or two in between. Seems to round out the effects for me.

This is with CO BHO shatter. If I had access to live resin, rosin, full melt bubble, or the like I perhaps may not need to do this as these type concentrates are supposed to be more full spectrum natively.

I like buds/flowers because they seem significantly easier to consume; whereas, every time I've done concentrates it's been a bit of a pain in the ass. The first time was with a torch and rig, and the second time was with a PAX pen (I preferred that). I have tried wax bundled in with my flowers, too, but overall flowers medicates me enough and is less expensive by volume than wax, I think.

I will never leave flowers, but will I add concentrates full-time into the mix? Likely not unless there is an extremely simple method like my A. Air to consume them without the fuss and big rigs.

Outside of flowers, I do like the disposable pens for discrete use, but they rarely get me as high as a stem full of ground herb.

Edibles: Not a big fan; although, I have quite the collection of edibles in stock. I like them; however, I don't like waking up still high from the night before. This seems to happen no matter when I take them, but then again I don't consume edibles before 5-6-7pm. With flowers, I'll wake up fresh...I've never had that sensation when I stopped consuming cannabis (for about the last 6-7 years until about a year ago).

I use both simply because I have found they compliment each other very well. When I go weeks at a time only dabbing I start to feel like I am missing something and always feel the need to get back in to vaporizing again.

While I love BHO and "honey oil" ecarts, I do not think they are not good long term. The THC is just too high and it fucks with tolerance too much. Plus it is expensive and I worry about quality control and safety with butane purging, etc. I went back to flowers and am staying. I don't even like edibles, TBH. :-) Fussy!

One can not fuck up flowers too much once one is trained, but THC oils... way too much variation and too many unskilled people making quick bucks.

Your mileage may vary.

I will admit that the last time I used a honey oil ecart, I was messing around sexually with a guy I like. He is a major 420 user and it was a fun time. We got high as fuck, of course. Good times. Of course, it was all on my dime (sadly).
