Good afternoon, just popping in, wanted to share some of the positive feedback I have gotten so far but want to address you all for stopping by first,

VB Beta Bomb first over!
- First heat up for residual material burn-off at 8.5V was quick (approx. 5-7 minutes). No discernible aberrant odors were detected.
- First load in an Ed's TnT stem was of a small pinch nug packed moderately loose. Vapor production was good. Flavor EXCELLENT. VVPS setting @11.2V. Spent ABV was an even toasty roasty pale green/tan.
- 2nd load of same packed moderately tight yielded MASSIVE vapor. VVPS setting @ 11.2V. Spent ABV load was an even light green/brown coffee roast.
- Heater kept up very well with rapid consecutive draws.
- Vapor was cool and comfortable on throat and lungs (and I'm sensitive in those areas).
- Flavor was EXCELLENT.
- VB body remained cool and comfortable to hold (inner-hollow body design facilitates this, as it does the overall light weight of the unit).
- VB build quality is outstanding, and the internal components are firmly locked into place and will not budge - SOLID.
- Ed's Bomb Ass Butter really accentuates the beauty of Ed's craftsmanship.

I have been doing some testing and have put together a temp range for you, I will be offering a rotary control standard with the VB so the user will be able to dial it down. I must say out of the box its hot hot, so this is what I have come up with so far
through a VK -
9V - 325
9.5V - 344
10V - 350
11V - 411
12V - 465
through the rotary control -
Wide Open - 460
1/2 way - 288
Still getting awesome positive feedback from testers, couldnt be happier! Still sourcing parts is an issue, I should have started a couple months ago getting parts, didnt know what all I would need, going to order at least 100 of everything Monday! Just a quick stop by for the moment, I hope you all like what you see and look forward to you alls thought!

Congrats on the progress Ed! Glad the beta's went out. Will they be posting here about the findings? Or are they non FC members?
Good morning and thanks @Reflections I am glad to see you stop by! Some are some arent and once the testing is done I am sure they will comment on their thoughts. Wanted to have their priority on testing and answering my questions foremost. I am sure you understand! Hope all is well your way!

Man the excitement is real with this thing, good job @Ed's TnT . Can't wait to have a VB of my own. The all wood WPA attachment looks very interesting to me and the ability to use the stems we already own from you is a huge plus. I'm also a fan of it running hot. I'm a high temp kinda guy myself. Go ahead and put a plus one by my name bud haha.

That what beta testing is for, giving feedback to manufacturer in order to adjust the vape, not to tease peaple with possibly an unfinished device! You are doing it very clean, love it!

@Andreaerdna Thanks much but as much as I would like to take the credit for keep the VB testers a secret it was not my idea, my guy my heavy was all his idea, I just so fortunate to have people that are way way smarter than me to think for me lol, Lord knows I cant keep a thought in my head long enough to remember it 10 minutes in the future. My Iphone calendar thank the Lord for that app is slammed with reminders all day every day, so so hate Iphone but love the calendar app!

They look absolutely brilliant Ed! I've got my eye on the torched ash, those patterns are lovely.
I think that a removable heater could turn out to be a really unique and useful feature, especially seeing as there is potential to upgrade it as vaping technology gets better in the years to come.

Good morning, I hope all is well out there! I closed on my house finally, got the keys and have been moving smalls is about all. I have a guy coming in the morning to blow more insulation in the attic, it has almost none being built in the 60's so getting this done will be a big help for heating and cooling it. I had a guy go by and mow the lawn yesterday, I cant do everything. I got a discount for installing a video security system so I had the boys out there with me mounting cameras crawling through the attic, its so cool to have youngens lol! Have a few other things to do and move stuff here and there, figure we will get moved in the next couple weeks! Ok so I have a brand spanking new Dewalt Miter saw coming in today, most call it a miter, I call it a chop saw cause thats all I use it for is to chop wood, dont do all the crazy angle and dont hang molding ever. So I was out in the shop chopping chopping short blanks for the VC, there is a small plastic piece on either side of the fence where the wood will rest near the blade, on the right side one of the pieces had a hair line crack in it that caused it to sit a little lower than the left, when I would chop a piece it would kick back into the blade and get thrown around the shop, at first I didnt notice the plastic piece so I swapped out to a brand new blade I had tucked back for a while, It cut a few blanks ok but then the started kicking back into the blade, hmmm. I started holding the blank at the right side of the blade like I have done 1000's of time, cut many more but then a piece kicked back into the blade, my index finger nuckle and all that is only about an 1" from the blade, like I said I have done this so many times I am just comfortable doing this, anyhow the blank ripped out of my hand the blade made a hella noise, I was stunned for a sec, I immediately yanked my hands back with a omgosh feeling all over my body, I looked at all my fingers turning my hands to see every side of them looking second looking giving them a third look not seeing any blood taking a huge sigh in relief. I was shaken, felt it all over my body, I said to myself thats enough for a day and I came inside, got on Amazon and have a nifty new saw that will be here shortly! I am so excited to get new gear. The other saw was great I cant tell you how many thousands of cuts it has made, I can surely say hundreds of thousands of cuts, I am thinking I should give it a out of service ceremony and lay it to rest properly all the while still having all my fingers, what a blessing lol!

Also, I know you have your own process and I'm sure it works great, but did you ever try cutting blanks to length with a table saw and cross cut sled?
You can stack your blanks if they are square and flat, or round, to cut like 20 or more in one motion. This is how I cut the maple charcoal dowels into 5/8" long 'blanks'. This method will cut 2500 blanks in around 30 minutes.
Even one at a time this method goes very quickly.
