I found it and purchased it with the cfx, it wasn't on the cfx page I found it on the site through a Google search

Just got my CF in and have a quick question.

The battery indicator is either not working right, or it's taking a really long time to charge.

I got it and checked the battery and it said 1 dot. After that I did two burn ins and at the end of these I checked and it was at 3.

Next put it on the charger for about an hour and a half. When I took it off and checked it was at 1 dot.

Used it for a session with the WPA, (which went very well as a side note)

put it back on the charger for another hour. Checked still dot.

Put it back for another hour and just checked and still one dot.

The charging light has been red the whole time.

Any Ideas, suggestions or what not would be apprciated. Thanks

I thought something was up with my CF too because the battery level was wonky. What fixed it was to stop checking the battery while the CF was heating up and blinking.

A question. Can anyone get decent clouds with just a little bit of weed? I'm having trouble.

I've gotten some decent clouds with as low as .05 grams. With .08 grams you will definitely get good clouds. That's assuming your material is good of course.

I find lightly tamping the load gives more dense vapor, especially with smaller loads.
No need for a spacer on top?

I think it's gotta be the partial convection; the combo of the two. Plus a kickass battery and a really good path(s). These units do stand apart in terms of general price to performance and yeah do pretty well no matter how you load it. Heat up time is one of the best on the market too. I mean it's not revolutionary but definitely noteworthy and somewhat evolutionary.

It's definitely not revolutionary. I have other vapes that are more cutting edge. The Boundless vapes simply do one thing, and do it well. They provide effortless vapor.

My CFX is not the most flavorful, efficient, powerful, stealthy, or any other adjective. The only category it might win is battery life.

It might not be the leader in any category of performance, but I find it to perform above average in every single way.

I guess your last statement is essentially what I meant. If it was more of a "leader" in more categories it would not be sub-$200, for starters.

I haven't tried enough other ones to be able to say more 'across the board' like you can. So what are some examples of the best you've tried in terms of general vapor production amount per pull? Though I know there can be a few factors in that equation.

It's hard to beat a pure convection vape for pure vapor production. My Grasshopper, E-Nano, and Sticky Brick put out super dense, potent vapor.

I want to clarify that I agree with you and I'm not trying to slight the Boundless vapes. There is nothing wrong with not innovating. In fact, more companies should have the same focus on making sure they nail the basics before they try to innovate.

You made a great point about the hybrid convection aspect of Boundless vapes too. My CFX has better quality vapor than the pure conduction vapes I've tried.

I think the Boundless vapes are a great addition to the market and I don't hesitate to recommend them to anybody.

So who can tell me how it is convection too exactly? I just haven't looked into the technical details yet.

Never tried the stock mouthpiece. Switched it out first thing cuz I couldn't stand the shape. Just a more comfortable mp for me. I believe it should improve airflow over stock.
Thanks I think I might try to buy some Crafty MPs just to see.

Speaking of convection, I have it on good authority that a video announcement is coming tomorrow regarding the features of the CFV, Boundless' first full convection model. Very excited!

From what I've heard, the user will have their choice of stainless steel, Quartz or wood for a ring that acts as a heat sink for the herb chamber.

Do I know what that means? Not really. Am I very fucking excited? Yes, certainly.

Wavy vaporizers commented on namaste vapes CFX video that he would be reviewing the CFV. I hope it comes out soon. I've been holding off on a CFX.

I don't think it'll be out until this fall, obviously not sure but I'd say 2 months at the minimum. I understand wanting to wait--I have high hopes for the CFV as a real entry level and regulated convection device.

Hey guys, I was trying to come up with a way of making the CF more discrete in public settings, IE, since the shape sort of looks like a box mod, go with making it look more like an ecig. Overall I feel that the mouthpiece is the biggest obstacle to this. Is there any straight mouthpiece that could be attached? I suppose the WPA could be drawn from directly, but that probably gets hot as it's plain metal. Any other thoughts?

Its just the cfx WPA with a reducer to 14mm i like that it looks kinda like a box mod. Keeps things cool even for the short length no burning lips.
I've tried this and it does indeed work very well.

Hey guys yes we were hoping to release a video today but it looks like this will have to wait until Monday, due to technical difficulties. We are also planning on hosting a live stream sometime next week and would like to get some feedback on day/time. We are aiming for Wednesday or Friday around 4:20 PM PST. We plan on discussing and demoing the CFV as well as explaining the interchangeable chamber rings. If there are any other topics that you guys would like us to discuss, feel free to let us know.

Awesome, thats exactly what I was looking for. Makes the unit a little less pocket-able but perfect for a concert or festival where e-cigs are allowed and in common use
