I'm currently reading this banger:

The author presupposes there will one day be a galaxy-wide internet. But because it was written in like 1991, he believes it will be based on the old Usenet system.

So that isn't a prediction that aged well. Though it is funny to see various alien species getting into forum flame wars.

What did age well is how most people describe this galaxy wide web. It's colloquially known as "The Net of a Million Lies". Sounds about right
